## OFFLOAD RECOMMENDATIONS — 10 GB CHUNKS

These are **old archives and media** — no scripts depend on them. No files have been moved yet. Each chunk lists a clear destination so you can decide what to put on an external drive or cloud cold-storage.

### CHUNK 1 — Generated Images Archive (~21 GB, splits into 2)
**Source:** `~/Downloads/Generated Images/`
**Recommended destination:** External drive `/Volumes/Cold-Storage/Generated-Images-2026-Q1/`
**Why:** ChatGPT image output. Already exported. Rarely re-opened. Offload all but newest 100.
**Move plan:**
- Sub-chunk 1A (10 GB): Oldest half by date
- Sub-chunk 1B (10 GB): Middle third by date

### CHUNK 2 — TV Episode Library (~25 GB)
**Source:** `~/Documents/complete/complete/Community/` + `~/Documents/complete/complete/Huge TV/`
**Recommended destination:** External drive `/Volumes/Cold-Storage/TV-Archive/`
**Why:** Re-watchable any time from streaming. Bluray rips take heavy space.
**Move plan:**
- Sub-chunk 2A (13 GB): All of Community folder
- Sub-chunk 2B (12 GB): All of Huge TV folder

### CHUNK 3 — Archive & Projects Desktop Folder (~21 GB)
**Source:** `~/Desktop/Archive & Projects/`
**Recommended destination:** External drive `/Volumes/Cold-Storage/Desktop-Archive-2026/`
**Why:** Old project work. Free up Desktop clutter.
**Move plan:**
- Sub-chunk 3A (10 GB): Largest single project
- Sub-chunk 3B (~11 GB): Remaining items

### CHUNK 4 — Old Downloads Complete (~7 GB)
**Source:** `~/Downloads/complete/`
**Recommended destination:** External drive `/Volumes/Cold-Storage/Downloads-Archive-2026/`
**Why:** Already-completed downloads. Move whole folder.

### CHUNK 5 — Triple-Nested Complete Archive (~199 GB, splits into 20)
**Source:** `~/Documents/complete/complete/complete/`
**Recommended destination:** External drive `/Volumes/Cold-Storage/Documents-Complete-Archive/`
**Why:** This is the elephant. 199 GB of mixed media in a triple-nested folder.
**Inside this folder are 80+ subfolders including:** A Perfect Circle albums, Buffy season 1, Community episodes, Zappa albums, Max for Live device duplicates, sample packs, books, recovery courses.
**Move plan — 20 sub-chunks of ~10 GB each:**
- Strategy: Group by content type, sort by directory size, move 10 GB at a time
- DO NOT MOVE the `max for live devices/` subfolder until I confirm it duplicates the live `~/Music/Ableton/User Library/Presets/Instruments/Max Instrument/` copies (Same names found — likely safe to delete after verifying.)

### CHUNK 6 — Personal Media on Shared (~14 GB)
**Source:** `/Users/Shared/Personal/`
**Recommended destination:** External drive — your choice
**Why:** Already on a "shared" volume but rarely accessed.

### CHUNK 7 — Recovery Course Archive (~6 GB)
**Source:** `~/Documents/complete/complete/Recovering from Narcissistic Abuse & CPTSD/`
**Recommended destination:** External drive `/Volumes/Cold-Storage/Courses-Archive/`
**Why:** Reference course content. Read once, archive forever.

### IMMEDIATE EASY WINS (no external drive needed)
1. Empty Trash — could reclaim several GB
2. Delete .DS_Store files recursively
3. Delete browser caches: `~/Library/Caches/Google/Chrome`, `~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari`
4. Delete old Xcode/derived data if any

### 2026-05-10 20:45 — Renamed aiTitle to ALL CAPS for 30 most recent Claude Code sessions
- BEFORE: 30 .jsonl session files in `~/.claude/projects/-Users-brandonchavez-Desktop-project-audit-dashboard/` with mixed-case `aiTitle` (e.g. "Organize Mac files and build audio plugin dashboard")
- AFTER:  same files, same paths — only the `aiTitle` field uppercased in every `type: ai-title` record (e.g. "ORGANIZE MAC FILES AND BUILD AUDIO PLUGIN DASHBOARD")
- Size:   no size change; only string transform in-place
- Reason: user requested. Improves visibility of recent chats in Claude Code session picker.
- Verified with: Python script re-read each file post-edit and confirmed uppercase. 30/30 renamed, 0 unchanged.
- Backup:  `~/Desktop/project-audit-dashboard/.session-backup-aititle-20260510-204549/` (226 files — superset including sync-conflict files; restore from there if any session breaks)

1. **Before moving any file:** add an entry to the "FILE MOVE LEDGER" above with the planned BEFORE/AFTER paths.
2. **After moving:** update the entry with verification command output.
3. **Before deleting:** check this file for any references to the target path.
4. **For offload to external drive:** record the drive label, mount point at time of move, and any catalog/index file location.
5. **Never use rm -rf without:** (a) du -sh on the target first, (b) ledger entry written, (c) explicit user OK.
