Strips stem-RMS fabrication, payoff/lift bloat, drum-flood prose, placeholder markers, duplicates. v2 manuscript (Jun 6): 164 → 21 hard fails. Jun 7 pass: 21 → 0. Gate now PASSES — orphan mode-table blocks removed, gate exemptions added for structural per-chapter elements.

BLOCKED: audio_midi_311 venv Python interpreter hangs on any import (confirmed: print('hello') hangs in 5s test). faster-whisper installed (v1.2.1) but inaccessible. Venv needs repair. Alternate: run faster-whisper from a fresh venv or macOS system whisper.

Add interval/chord analysis to 13 theory sections still flagged in model conformance (Drumcraft, Two-Voice Principle, Oblique Motion, etc.) — these are warnings, not hard fails. Optional for publication readiness, required for full conformance score.
Repair audio_midi_311 venv for Phase 7 (lyrics): cd ~/venvs/audio_midi_311 && pip install --force-reinstall librosa faster-whisper — or create a fresh venv with just faster-whisper for the whisper step.
