Chiron Video Chats — and Why the Latest 8 Aren't Rendered

Short answer: We don't have the latest 8 because they are brand-new (the channel posts ~4 readings a day, so the latest 8 are just the 06-22 and 06-23 drops), and every render cycle from 06-22 through 06-23 was spent re-rendering older videos — the 4 K1 keyword-chip redos plus the four-latest-priority from 06-12/06-13 — not making new ones. The newest-first renders only actually started on 06-25, downloading one at a time and slowed by disk contention, so zero of the latest 8 had finished when last checked. The tracker already flags them "make these first."

The tracker's own line: "Do we have the latest 8 or the latest 16? No to both. None of the 16 newest (06-23 back to 06-20, ~4 a day) is rendered. Make the newest first."

② Why they aren't rendered — 6 reasons

  1. They are genuinely new. The channel posts ~4 readings a day, so "latest 8" is only the 06-22 and 06-23 uploads. The latest 16 reaches back just to 06-20. There was no window in which they could already be done.
  2. The render queue went to OLD videos, not new ones. root cause From 06-22 to 06-23 the pipeline did the four-latest-priority (You Did It + 3 redos, all from 06-12/06-13) and the 4 K1 keyword-chip re-renders of already-live videos. Re-rendering old readings for the chip-tier fix consumed the capacity that would have made the new ones.
  3. Newest-first renders only started 06-25. The tracker-completion session restarted the queue newest-first, but downloads were "slow from contention" (the all-three-disks-full crunch), so only item 1 was downloading/rendering when that session paused. Nothing in the latest 8 had finished.
  4. yt-dlp was bot-blocked. Pulling the new upload IDs needed --extractor-args "youtube:player_client=android"; the default client returned nothing, which is why even the IDs landed late.
  5. A botched file move burned a whole session (06-18). The VIDEO FIXES chat moved live mp4s into delete/, 404'd the pages, and the entire session went to recovery and apology instead of new renders.
  6. Audit + cap friction. Discovering two _sourceaudio files were actually Lester forced a voice-verify pass (8 rows → NEEDS VERIFY); Vercel's 100 MB per-file cap forced re-encodes (did-they-cheat 117 MB, wp-21 97 MB). Both pulled attention onto existing rows.

③ Every Chiron video chat (13)

Sorted by date. The filter is the session TITLE: the global memory index injects "Chiron Intuition" text into every chat, so content-grep matched all 176 June transcripts and could not isolate real work. A title sweep plus a file-path-signal rank caught two a plain keyword filter missed, a typo title (CHIRION) and an oblique one (REDOS), both flagged NEW.

One mixed chat: <RUSH ABLETON> CHIRON VIDEO UPDATE (06-13, 62539ea6) has a video title but opens on Shiner stems, so it is left off the 13. Excluded as non-video: the deck/book deadline, Google Ads upload, Kate transcripts backup, and the generic CHIRON / CHIRON FORK sessions.

④ Fix path (already named by the tracker)

Render the latest 8 newest-first, starting with vCr5Ijh0_w8 (06-23), before touching the 28-item backlog. Pull each source with the android-client yt-dlp flag, render one at a time given disk contention, and deploy under the 100 MB cap. The four K1 redos are done, so capacity is now free for new uploads.

Where are the 8 newest videos?

There is a YouTube channel called Chiron Intuition. It puts up about 4 new tarot videos every single day.

We turn those into our own videos with a chalkboard and a voice. Right now we have made 19 of them.

The 8 newest ones came out on June 22 and June 23. We have made zero of those 8 so far.

Why? For two days our computer was busy fixing old videos that were already made. It was adding little word-bubbles to them. While it did that, the channel kept adding new videos, and they piled up.

We only started making the new ones on June 25. The computer can only do one at a time, and the disks are very full, so it goes slow. That is why none of the 8 are done yet.

The plan: make the newest one first, then the next, until all 8 are done. Then do the big pile of older ones.
