Hello and welcome.
I am Kate.
I'm also known as the daily tarot girl and welcome to my tarot card meanings.
Deep dive into the page of Wands.
Now before we dive into today's video I want to let you know that I've created a Tarot Court card meaning cheat sheet for you.
I'm going to put the link below where you can grab your own copy.
All right so let's talk about the page of Wands.
So this page is energetic he's inspired he's learning how to cultivate and focus his energy and how to discover his life's work and his life's purpose.
So sit back relax and let me bring this card to life for you.
I'm going to be speaking of the page of Wands as if he is a real person.
We're going to dive into his secrets.
I'm going to talk about the symbols on this card.
I'm going to tell you what this card means when it shows up in one of your readings and what it means when it shows up reversed.
All right so one important thing to remember is that he is the page of Wands and the wands corresponds with the element of fire.
So think about how fire behaves.
Fire can be warm and comforting.
It can be exciting.
It can illuminate.
It can also be terrifying.
It can be destructive.
But fire also transforms.
So I associate the suit of Wands with passion with energy action and transformation.
So some key words to keep in mind with this card some key personality traits of the page of Wands is that he is curious.
He's learning.
CU he's a page so all the pages are you know kind of like students.
They're learning.
They're figuring things out.
He's energetic excited inspired passionate.
He's really enthusiastic about the things that he's enthusiastic about.
He's enthusiastic and he wants to do he wants to get out there in the world and do things.
This is how he learns by doing.
He's transformation obsessed.
Think about someone think about like a young person who has just discovered self help books and they're reading all the classic self help books.
So that's kind of like this page of Wands.
He's obsessed with this idea of transformation and transforming himself and he's very focused on discovering his life's purpose.
Now some symbols to pay attention to hello Marina.
Merina has come and she's she's blessed us with her presence.
I asked her if she wanted to be in the video and she said no.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card oh and I should mention that uh wherever the card is going to be I'm not sure what side I'm going to put it on um but the card that you see on your screen um maybe this side the card that you see on your screen is from the uh universal weight tarot.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card notice the pyramids.
Now the pyramids also appeared if you if you watched my other video on the uh Knight of Wands there's pyramids in that card as well and I talked about how the pyramids were these like energy uh directors.
So pyramids can uh if you think of the shape of the pyramid they can take energy from above and disperse it or they can suck up energy from below and channel it and direct it upward um so those pyramids are kind of energy directors.
There's a red feather in the page of Wands cap and that's a symbol of achievement.
Just think of that phrase like feather in your cap.
So it's that symbol of achievement and I and I do think that the page of Wands is very focused on uh achieving things.
I wouldn't say that he's like necessarily driven in the same way that like the some of the like Knight of Wands or the Knight of uh swords are very driven cards.
The page of Wands he's not so much driven he's more like just very curious and alive and he wants to follow that energy wherever it takes him um you'll also notice he's holding a staff.
Now that staff can be a symbol of like a magic wand which is also an energy Direction tool and on that staff we see some green leaves.
So some like fresh growth.
So this is like a symbol of new growth and and newness and he's in the desert and he looks like he's overdressed.
I just can't get over how he's got all these layers on.
He's got these boots on.
He's got this hat on but he's he's in the desert and it looks kind of hot.
It looks hot and sunny and he's wearing these goofy boots and this funny hat and it just makes me think that he's you know uh he's at Burning Man or something like he's he's a festival goer.
That's kind of how I think of this uh this page.
So this page is very talented.
He has a he has numerous talents.
He gets really excited about things.
So when he's into something he's really passionate he's curious he's excited and once he figures out how to direct his energy into something like how to best use his energy he really is a Powerhouse.
There's so much that he can do and Achieve when he's able to really direct his energy.
He's an outside the boox Thinker.
He's creative.
He's Dynamic.
He's unafraid of a challenge.
He loves challenge.
He loves adventure and he doesn't really have a comfort zone.
So something that is a little that might be really risky or challenging for someone else just feels really adventurous and exciting to the page of Wands.
He's not really shy and his biggest talent I would say is that he can transform things when he puts his energy and attention on them.
So he has this real power to transform things.
So his ultimate task in the world his big challenge in life is to really find his life's purpose.
So living his life's purpose is really how he connects with spirit.
This is kind of finding his right work in the world brings him closer to God.
This is what helps him feel spiritually alive and connected is really tapping into what he's meant to be doing.
And I can really relate to this page in this way.
I remember when I was especially when I was younger when I was a teenager and in my early 20s I was obsessed with this idea of figuring out what I was meant to do in the world work wise and I was just so obsessed with this and I kept thinking that I had to get this figured out and the rest of my life would all fall into place once I got this one thing figured out.
It was so important to me and I just assumed that this is how everyone thought that everyone was obsessed with this but then as I got older and met more people and had conversations and moved through life I realized that that is not everyone is obsessed with uh finding their life's purpose.
That isn't something that everyone is really into um so that's something to keep in mind with this page.
Is that he is purpose he's purpose driven he's obsessed with discovering his life's purpose and and finding his life path.
So part of his task part of his challenge is to learn how to really build cultivate and focus and best use his energy.
His energy is his most valuable tool his most valuable asset and to learn how to discover to to really use that energy for transformation and to transform not only his himself but other things that he comes into contact with during his life.
And he isn't going to discover his life path or his life's purpose by sitting around and reading books.
He has to actually get out in the world and take action.
He actually has to do things in order to discover things about himself.
So once he finds his gifts once he starts to uncover some of his abilities and his talents and once he figures out you know what his yearnings are for and begins to weave these things into a career he can really offer his unique Brilliance to his community.
So the page of Wands has so much to offer but because he's young he's discovering that he's figuring things out so he hasn't achieved a level of Mastery or self knowledge yet but he's well on his way to doing that.
So let's talk about what this page is like in day to day life like if you were to run into this page what would he be like.
So let's say you're at a party and the page of Wands walks into the room.
He has this amazing ability to instantly transform the energy of a party just by being present just by showing up.
So you're sitting there the page of Wands comes in the room and it's like oh now the part's really started.
The page of Wands is here.
Instantly there is this shift.
There's this like crackling in the air and suddenly things feel more alive and bubbly and exciting when he arrives.
So he is fun.
He's bright.
He's chatty.
He's entertaining.
He knows how to make people laugh and he can turn any like dull boring gett together into uh an instant gigglefest.
When it comes to work and career if he feels like he is challenged or if he's given some problem to fix or something to transform this is where he will really Thrive.
He is all in.
So if you have a workplace and you bring in a page of Wands character put him to work fixing something you know if you have a department in your office that is a disaster or there's some project that has gone ay put the page of Wands in there.
He loves to get in there and and get things running smoothly and and fix things.
He loves a challenge.
However if he's in like a really boring repetitive job where it's not very challenging there's not a lot of skill involved this is where he will kind of turn sour and some of his uh more unlikable traits will start to come out and we'll get to that.
We'll get to his dark side in a moment.
But he needs to have a few things on the go.
I like to say that the page of Wands is a real renaissance man because he likes to uh he has so much energy.
He has so many different talents like why he's not just good at one thing he's good at many things.
And he really good at many things and he has a lot of interests and hobbies and so he likes to kind of have his fingers in all different pots like he he likes to have a few things on the go.
So when it comes to work and career any kind of job that allows him to kind of do a bunch of different things will really appeal to him.
All right so I'm going to switch my note sheet here.
So when it comes to love relationships and romance the page of Wands is a really fun and exciting guy to date.
Okay so he's fun to date.
He's he's really exciting.
He's hilarious.
He's a lot of fun but he's not really ready for anything serious.
He's so young and inexperienced.
He's really more interested in travel having Adventures finding the right career uh and having a good time.
So he's not relationship focused.
He's not bad at relationships.
He's just not ready for anything super serious or any type of commitment.
So if he meets a partner who's also in that same place as him then it can be quite harmonious but he's not he's not into like big commitments at this point in his life.
When it comes to money and finances I feel like I've been really hard on some of the other court cards but I'm not going to be hard on the page of Wands.
He's fine when it comes to managing his money.
He's he's not bad.
He prefers to spend money on experiences rather than things and he doesn't really care about things like status all that much but this is the ironic thing.
If he finds what he loves and he does that for a career If he if he um you know really follows his heart and his passion uh he's so talented and he he will like naturally attain typically he will over time as he gets older he will naturally just attain status and Adoration of others but without trying.
Like that's not interesting to him.
He isn't trying to attain status or impress people at all.
He really just wants to follow his passion.
So when it comes to money he's you know he's still learning how to manage his energy and you know we can think that money is energy and so he might make a few mistakes here and there but it's not a big deal overall.
So some things that this page thrives on so the page of Wands uh and and I mentioned earlier he's a bit of a renaissance man so he loves channeling his energy into like all sort of different things like multiple projects um and uh yeah multiple things multiple projects.
He loves to to to do all different stuff.
He loves to be challenged and if something feels like an adventure or if he has to like figure things out by trial and error and making guesses that really makes him come alive.
He loves to travel.
He loves new places new experiences.
These are all things that help him learn more about himself.
Some things that he can't stand he can't stand this feeling of not having a purpose.
So if he feels like he isn't going anywhere where if he doesn't know what his purpose is what he's supposed to be doing or if he's if he's in a job where it's unclear what his role is or what his purpose is that's going to be really frustrating for him.
Or if he's in a work situation where he can't use his creativity or special talents then again he's going to be really frustrated by that.
Or if he's stuck in a role whether at work or in a relationship that has no room for growth he's really going to to flounder because the page of Wands is in growth mode.
He's learning.
He's expanding.
He's growing.
So if he's in a relationship or a job that just doesn't give him that space to learn and grow then he's not going to be happy um he's a dynamic character.
He doesn't want to be tied to just one thing and one thing that he absolutely cannot stand is the idea of like a really boring predictable life where everything is laid out and planned out for him and there's nothing new to be discovered.
That is his worst nightmare.
So let's talk about his dark side now.
The page of Wands doesn't really have a big dark side and this is a segment that I do in all my videos on uh the core cards and people have asked me like does is the dark side what this card means when it's reversed and sometimes it can but in this case I'm going to talk about what it means when this card is reversed in a moment um but his dark side is really just uh I think when we're talking about the court cards as people it just helps to have an idea of what their negative traits might be.
So this is just to kind of flesh out this card and and and kind of humanize the page of Wands.
So his dark side is that he has a lot of energy and that energy needs to flow but if that flow is blocked or stunted he can turn into a real pain in the ass and he can actually become destructive.
So if he can't transform things with his energy he will destroy things with his energy and not necessarily in a huge terrifying way.
Remember he is only the page of Wands um so his power is somewhat limited.
So he's not a hugely destructive character but think like uh a teenager who starts vandalizing things and becomes kind of mischievous.
It's kind of that sort of energy.
If he mismanages his energy by taking on too many projects by spreading himself too thin or by putting his energy into Pro into projects and things that are not the right fit for him uh things can go south and he he can be really prone to getting burnt out and throwing childish Tantrums like a like a little kid who's just been playing too hard and they get exhausted and they become you know really cranky.
Okay um so what does this card mean when you're doing a reading for yourself or someone else and the page of Wands comes up.
What does this card mean.
So there's a few different directions we can go with this card.
It might mean that your life's purpose and really discover covering your life's purpose and getting a better sense of it is really important right now that this is kind of a front and center concern for you and so you need to take the time and give yourself that space to really figure things out and learn about yourself.
It could also be an indication that you need to really learn how to build up and maintain and better direct your energy and it can also be a message.
So when the page of Wands shows up in a reading it can be a message to get out there and take action so don't just sit on your laurels and wait for something to happen but actually get out there and do something.
You're not going to figure things out just by sitting at home.
So if this card is reversed it could mean that you're uh kind of confused about your life's purpose or you feel kind of uh blocked in some way and you can't quite figure it out.
You don't have Clarity on what your purpose is and what you're supposed to be doing.
It could also mean that you are mismanaging your energy and you just need to get a little bit better about preserving your energy and putting in it towards the right kinds of things.
It could also mean that you need to get out there and take action and have experiences and you're not doing that.
You're maybe just sitting at home uh not getting out there in the world.
So that again a reversed page of Wands might be an indication that you need to kind of get out there get out there and have experiences.
So some ways to really embody the page of Wands is to take some time to explore yourself.
So what lights you up.
What excites you.
What energizes you.
What are you curious about.
What kinds of things do you want to put your energy into.
Contemplating these questions will help you get clear on what your career path might be or what your life's purpose is.
Give yourself the time and space to explore how you relate to energy.
How do you use your own energy.
What builds up your energy.
What drains your energy.
Taking the time to learn about yourself in that way and another way to embody this card is to learn by doing and for some reason in my notes I wrote uh don't just stand there bust a move.
So yeah like you know get out there and do things.
This is how you're going to learn.
We don't just learn by going inward or reading books.
We have to get out there and take action.
Clarity sometimes comes from from getting out there and doing things um okay so I've got a few journaling questions for you because I find journaling on the cards is a really great way to get to know the cards and to really uh cement your understanding of this card.
So I really encourage you to to get a a journal and a pen and drop these questions down and I'm also going to post these questions uh um below this video in the little info section below the video.
So the first question is what aspects of this page do you relate to.
Where are you right now on your path to discovering your life's purpose.
Is this something you're really interested in or maybe you have no interest in this at all.
Have do you have it all figured out or are you still exploring this.
How do you want to share your energy with the world.
Cuz this is really what the page of Wands is trying to figure out.
How is he going to share his energy his gifts and everything with the the world.
So how are you.
How do you want to share your energy with the world.
What is your relationship to energy.
What drains your energy.
What what feeds your energy.
And how can you best direct your energy at this time.
And in the comments below I want you to tell me how are you like this page.
What aspect of him do you most relate to.

Hello and welcome to my deep dive into the Page of Cups.
So if you're new here welcome my name is Kate.
I'm also known as the daily tarot girl.
And I am diving into the core cards one card at a time.
And I have created a Tarot Court card cheat sheet for you to help you learn and understand the court cards.
I'm going to put the link below if you want to download your own copy.
Uh but make sure you do that at some point because it's really going to help you.
Okay so we're diving into the Page of Cups now.
The image that you see on your screen is from the universal weight tarot.
And I'm going to give you some keywords.
We're going to talk about the personality of this card because I find that's the best way to understand the coure cards.
Is to really get a sense of each Court card's personality.
And we're going to talk about what this card is like at a party in relationships at work with money Etc.
And I'm going to give you a few journaling questions at the end as well as well.
So the suit of cups is all about emotions feelings and relationships.
And the Page of Cups he's a page so he's a student.
He's learning these things.
He's figuring these things out.
So there's a lot of trial and error happening with the pages.
So think of the pages as being inexperienced young they're learning they're growing they're figuring things out.
So to be a page is exciting everything is new everything is fresh everything is exciting.
But at the same time you're more prone to be naive and to stumble and make mistakes.
So the Page of Cups he's sensitive.
I would even say he's kind of artsy fartsy.
He's uh freespirit.
And he loves a good romantic disaster.
So he's a lot of fun.
So the last card we talked about was the page of swords.
And he is a little more somber.
He's got a lot of issues going on.
The page of cups is a lot of fun.
So some key words and personality traits to keep in mind with this card the page of cups is creative.
He's intuitive.
He's artsy.
He's sensitive.
He's a little naive.
But he is brigh eyed and bushy tailed.
He has a real zest for life.
He feels emotions fully and strongly.
But he also knows how to really go with the flow.
And he's kind of happy to just sort of float along.
This isn't the kind of person who has an agenda and has clear goals or a clear idea of what he wants out of life.
He's actually he just wants to experience things and feel things.
And he's more than happy to just kind of float along and go with the flow.
And see where the current takes him.
He's a bit of a Daydreamer.
He's easily inspired and sees opportunities everywhere.
He loves to express himself emotionally through the Arts.
And I'm saying he when I talk about the pages I I think of them as like young boys young men.
Um but really the pages are the pages aren't really male or female.
Really like it could just be anyone who's young.
So I'm just saying he because that's kind of how I think of the pages.
But really I I would say you know the pages could be male or female or or whatever.
It's it's not it's not so clearcut.
Um so this page um the thing with the page of cups is his feelings shift and change like the tides.
So in that sense he's a little bit flaky a little bit his feelings shift and change.
Um he's really confident despite his lack of experience and wisdom.
So he doesn't have a lot of experience.
He doesn't have a lot of wisdom.
Uh but he doesn't have the wisdom to know that he doesn't have all that wisdom.
So he's super confident.
Uh he's learning how to be in a relationship how to relate to others how to connect with others on an emotional level.
He's learning how to express his emotions how to really tap into his creative and sensitive side.
And he's learning how to manage his powerful emotions and feelings that tend to change from moment to moment.
So that is his big challenge.
Let's have a a a nice clear easy look at this card and break down some of the symbols on the card.
So uh let's see.
Okay I got to look at this card while I while I talk about it.
Um so the first thing you're going to notice as you look at this card is the waves in the background the rolling waves.
And those waves represent a whole bunch of things.
They can represent flow.
Remember Page of Cups he really knows how to go with the flow.
They can also represent instability because think about the the waves are kind of going up and down up and down.
They can also represent emotional depths and the unconscious.
So think about the surface of the water and what's beneath the color blue.
Really features prominently on this card with the waves and with his outfit and his hat and even the fish is blue.
And again I feel like that color blue kind of represents the unconscious what is not yet conscious and and the depths emotional depths.
Then there's the fish in the cup which I think is actually the most interesting symbol on this card.
And this can represent inspiration like just think about what would happen if you're holding a cup and all of a sudden a fish popped out of it.
It's this like sudden idea this sudden flash of inspiration like a gift.
It can also represent the imagination.
And in some ways this fish can be a messenger can represent a message.
So the Page of Cups because he is intuitive he's good at finding messages in things seeing symbols seeing the messages in things.
And if you look at his posture he's got the one hand on his hip.
And he just is standing in kind of a cocky confident way.
And this is a great way to kind of describe the page of cups.
Is that he is quite confident in himself.
He's kind of sure of himself even though he probably shouldn't be.
Now his tunic that he's wearing has lotus flowers on it.
And that is a very Earthly symbol.
And if you think of lotus flowers they often will grow in the mud.
So they can uh grow in the mud but yet they flower.
And they're so beautiful.
So that's another interesting symbol to to consider on this card card.
And then he's wearing a fancy hat.
And this kind of shows that he is probably upper class or has you know led a life of comfort.
Maybe there's a lot of opportunities and privileges offered to him throughout his life.
So he's had it easy.
When I talked about the page of Swords I kind of made a reference in that video to the page of Swords being like a foster kid who's you know had kind of a rough start in life.
And has had this inherently unstable beginning.
And is trying to find his footing where the page of cups is kind of the exact opposite in that he's probably had a very comfortable life.
And he's been afforded a lot of uh Comforts and opportunities.
Okay so let's talk about the talents of this page.
So one of my favorite things about this page of cups is that he finds inspiration in everyday life.
He is in love with life itself.
And he's so good at daydreaming.
This is when he gets his best ideas.
Now remember when I said that he's not really focused he doesn't really have an agenda he doesn't really have any goals.
He loves to just Daydream.
But often he'll get these really brilliant and creative ideas when he's in daydream mode.
He can be quite psychic.
And he can have some really powerful intuitive abilities.
He's also artistic and he's creative.
So he's good at things like acting singing writing dancing art.
His Creations make other people's hearts sing.
And this is important to note.
Is that the Page of Cups brings a lot of joy and Beauty to the world.
So the things that he creates the things that he does in life often really make others Hearts sing.
Hees makes the world a more beautiful place.
Now if you were to encounter this page at a party for example he's often the life of the party.
You can find him telling all kinds of wonderful stories.
And really captivating his audience.
He knows how to Captivate an audience.
He's equally comfortable at large parties and in small groups or one on one interactions.
He's very social.
And he's very comfortable in Social settings.
So he's not like uh you know there's some creative types who are brilliantly creative but they're kind of socially isolated.
He's not like that.
He's he's brilliantly creative.
And he's also very social and outgoing.
But he's also very sensitive.
And he's good at reading the room.
So he's good at kind of knowing his audience picking up on others reactions.
He's surprisingly in tune with other people for for being so young.
Um so he's young he's naive he's inexperienced.
But he does know how to like connect with others and pick up on their emotions and their you know the Vibes that they're putting out.
When it comes to work and career he's very dedicated to learning his craft whatever creative Pursuit he chooses.
He's dedicated to learning everything he can about it.
He will quickly lose interest in work if he's unable able to express his creative side.
So he can do you know uncreative jobs.
But not for very long.
He's not going to be that interested.
He's not going to put much effort into jobs or careers where he can't be creative.
He gets bored easily.
And he will often have two or three different gigs going at any given time.
So this is the kind of guy who will have a bunch of part time jobs doing different kind of creative unusual things.
His artistic passions typically don't provide a lot of income to start with.
So he and he might have jobs that are like sort of part time service jobs like a waiter or a bartender.
Um he's very social and Charming.
So he's very good at these kinds of jobs.
All right I'm just going to switch Pages here.
So when it comes to love and romance and relationships this is where all the action happens.
So this is this is where this is where all the action happens with this page.
So he is exceedingly romantic and Charming.
But uh or not but but he's really able to connect emotionally with others.
And like fully feel his feelings.
But his feelings change like the tides.
So he will like easily develop these really intense crushes on people.
Which Inspire him creatively.
And they will evaporate just as quick.
So while he's in touch with his feelings he's also eternally flumix by them.
Because they change without him really realizing why.
So he knows his feelings well.
He's in touch with his feelings.
But he doesn't know why he feels the way he feels or why his feelings change so quickly.
So that really kind of confuses him.
He has plenty of short lived flings and romances over his lifetime.
And despite his kind of emotionally flaky nature he's on good terms with all of his exes.
So he can have this mad passionate torid Affair.
And then it can you know all go up and Flames.
Um and you know lead to a lot of heartbreak and drama.
But he's always manages to remain on good terms with his Exes in in the end.
He may be foolish in love.
But he's always kind and respectful when it comes down to it.
So there's rarely any bad blood afterwards.
When it comes to money and finances he's not great with money.
Um mainly because he just doesn't really care about it.
He want freedom not money.
But having money can give him a certain kind of freedom.
But he hasn't quite learned that yet.
So he tends to be comfortable financially.
Usually due to the support of a well to do family or some sort of benefactor.
So he may hook up with an older woman an older mistress who finances his Arts lifestyle.
He has a way of attracting benefactors and support from surprising places.
Because he is just naturally charming.
And he doesn't go out into the world trying to charm people to get money.
It's he's not like that.
He's just naturally charming.
And people are drawn to him.
And they just want to finance his lifestyle.
If they have if they're able to like they just want to give him money for his outlandish creative projects.
Because they just want to see him flourish.
He thrives on being in a social environment.
Like a university.
Or like going to festivals.
Or some kind of like communal living situation.
Or like a theater group.
He loves he loves those kinds of environments.
He loves an artsy environment with other creative people.
He's not really insecure.
He doesn't feel threatened by other creative people.
So that's kind of nice.
And he loves environments that are very open very free non judgmental spaces.
He loves to have the freedom to do as he wishes with few responsibilities.
So that that really helps him Thrive.
Some things that he can't stand some things that really bother him he can't stand feeling tied down or Limited in any way.
If he feels like he can't fully Express himself that he can't stand that.
That's going to drive him crazy.
Uh if he feels like he's being forced to conform or if he's given you know rigid schedules or rigid rules he's not going to like that.
He's really going to suffer under those kind of circumstances.
Now what's interesting is the last video I did was on the page of swords.
And for him having kind of rigid structures and rules actually helps him feel stable.
And helps him Thrive.
But with the Page of Cups uh uh he does not like that.
And he also can't stand like really uptight judgy people.
So let's talk about his Dark Side.
The dark side of the page of cups is that he can be kind of flaky.
Like his feelings change from one moment to the next.
And he ends up hurting a lot of romantic Partners.
But there's no malice in it.
It's just that he'll be really into someone.
And he'll shower them with affection.
And then quickly lose interest.
And it just Fizzles really quickly.
So he he will sometimes like make promises that he really can't keep in Romance.
He flits around from one place to the next looking for inspiration.
Now if this is done once in a while it's not a big deal.
But if this has done too much he he can find himself constantly flitting around to different places different people just looking for that inspiration.
Because there's something about newness like a new relationship or or going to a new city or trying a new thing.
That really inspires him and gives him energy.
Which is wonderful.
But he can get addicted to that.
And constantly be chasing that.
He gives up on projects and relationships and goals too quickly.
Sometimes so that's a that's a big downside.
He can be very unreliable.
And he's kind of unaware of how his flakiness affects others.
So he's a little bit naive to that.
He has this daydreamy optimism that isn't really grounded in reality.
Which sometimes works for him.
Like sometimes it's not a problem.
Um but taking to the extreme it can be a problem.
This sort of daydreamy optimism that is just kind of pie in the sky.
And kind of ridiculous.
All right last sheet of notes here.
Okay so some ways to embody this card.
Combining Your Love of learning with your creative or your intuitive side.
Now we didn't actually talk about the page of cups' intuitive side.
So I should probably do that.
Um but com combining Your Love of learning like think of the page of cups.
He loves to learn.
But he's also creative.
He's intuitive.
Combining those two things like learning a new artistic skill.
Like writing Dance Art learning the psychic Arts.
So tarot cards Tea Leaf reading palm reading um mediumship other kinds of psychic skills.
Spending an hour or two just daydreaming is a wonderful way to embody the energy of the page of cups.
So just daydreaming for an hour or two.
And really indulging your imagination.
Okay and one thing I promised is uh I wanted to touch on the fact that this page is he's very intuitive.
He's very psychic.
And so when this card comes up in a reading you might be wondering like what does it mean.
What is the message.
What am I supposed to get from this card.
If it comes up in a reading so it can be a message that inspiration is everywhere.
And to look everywhere if you're looking for inspiration.
And you want to kind of find that zest for life it can be found anywhere.
It can be a message to look at the World Through The Eyes of this page.
So the fresh young eyes of the page of um of cups.
To look at the world through that lens.
When this card shows up in a reading it can indicate kind of having your creativity sparked.
And new ideas and New Opportunities will flow from there.
So if I'm doing a reading for for someone and this card comes up I usually focus in on creativity and getting ideas and inspiration for new creative projects.
It can also be an invitation to get in touch with your feelings and your emotions.
And express yourself fearlessly.
And to really fully engage your creative side.
And it can also be an invitation to explore your psychic and intuitive side as well.
So I'm going to give you three journaling questions.
The journaling questions are fun.
And it's a really powerful way to connect with this card on a personal level.
So the first question is and I'm going to post these questions below as well uh the first question is do you know anyone like this page.
Who does this page remind you of.
What aspects of this page do you relate to.
Do you see yourself in this page at all.
And what creative Pursuits interest you the most right now.
Is there a creative Pursuit um or some kind of artistic thing that is really peing your interest right now or calling out to you.
All right so that has been my deep dive into the Page of Cups.

Hello and welcome to my deep dive Series where I'm diving into the core cards one card at a time.
So my name is Kate.
I'm also known as the daily tarot girl.
And in this video we're going to be diving into the page of Swords who is a really interesting character.
Uh I I would say he's one of the more interesting ones in the court Card family because he is the most unstable.
So I'm really looking forward to diving into this card with you.
So I have created a free tarot Court card cheat sheet for you to help you learn and understand the court cards.
I'm going to post the link below on where you can can grab that.
So make sure you grab your own copy at some point.
All right so let's dive into the page of Swords.
So the the image that you see on your screen is from the universal weight tarot.
And the page of Swords he is uh he corresponds with the suit of Swords which corresponds with the element of air which is associated with the mind.
So think like the intellect uh thoughts beliefs your mind's ability to focus all of that is the realm of the suit of swords as well as communication.
Now because the page of Swords is a page he is like a student.
He's like a young person.
So if we think of the Court cards being page Knight queen and king the pages are the youngest.
They're learning uh they're sort of in their I think of the pages as being like teenagers early 20s so young.
And the pages are learning.
They're figuring things out.
So the page of Swords is really learning how to tap into the power of his mind.
How to really use his mind instead of being used by it.
And just as a kind of just as an aside the suit of Swords is a really challenging suit.
There's a lot of challenges.
If you if you look at your Tarot deck and you lay out all the swords cards from like 1 through 10 and then the core cards the core cards tend to be kind of more serious and more somber.
And there's many challenging cards in the suit of Swords.
So this page really has his work cut out for him.
So I'm going to give you a few key wordss and personality traits here.
One of the best ways to learn and understand the court cards is to think of them as being people as being like characters with personalities.
So as I mentioned already the page of Swords is inherently unstable.
He's very unstable.
He can come across as being flighty.
And he's he's really kind of trying to find his footing.
If you look at this card you'll see that he's doing just that.
He just has this unstable kind of posture which we're going to we're going to get into.
So he is really struggling.
Out of all the court cards and especially if you think of all the Pages we have Page of Cups page of Pentacles page of Wands and page of swords out of all those pages he is the one who is really struggling the most.
The other Pages have this like uh brigh eyed and bushy tailed youthful enthusiasm to them.
Whereas the page of Swords doesn't really.
He he's CH he he's coming out the gate already with a lot of challenges.
So he's struggling.
He might struggle with having like a really hyperactive mind.
Like he may even struggle with having uh you know ADHD.
He lacks selfconfidence.
And he feels really insecure.
Where the other Pages might be overly confident um this page uh page of Swords is really lacking in confidence.
He also is prone to Melancholy.
So he can kind of get depressed.
He can feel really down.
He can have down days.
And he's really learning again like how to use his mind instead of being used by it.
So he's learning about the power of focus.
And that the things that we focus on and spend time thinking about are important.
And so he's learning all of that.
He's learning how to manage all his mental energy and his attention span.
He's also learning how to communicate properly.
So he isn't the best Communicator um but he's learning.
He's learning and growing in that area.
Now this page of Swords he has lots of problems in his life.
Lots of different problems.
And most of them are self created.
But he doesn't yet have the awareness to know that.
So he's young.
He's you know in his youth.
He's growing.
And as he gets older so think of think of the page of swords and then think of the Knight of Swords and then maybe the King of Swords as he gets older and moves moves towards you know being a king he creates less problems for himself.
So he will eventually attain a certain level of wisdom and things will change for him.
But in his youth he really struggles.
So his teen years are rough.
And he's really like navigating a lot of issues and a lot of different problems.
But it's through this navigation that he learns about himself and he grows and he gets strong stronger and he becomes wiser.
So that's the irony here.
Is that he creates all these problems for himself kind of unwittingly.
You know unaware of that.
But he creates all these problems for himself.
But in a way it's like a blessing in disguise.
Because it's through dealing with those problems and figuring things out that he actually learns and grows.
Okay so let's let's actually look at this card.
Let's take a really good look at this card.
And I'm going to point out some symbols on this card that will really help you understand this card.
And remember its meaning.
So first I want to draw your attention to the ground.
Notice how the ground is quite unstable.
And sometimes it's helpful to look at all the pages in your in your deck.
And you'll probably notice that out of all of them this is the most unstable of all the pages.
There's a lot of movement going on.
Even though this page is standing still there's the wind there's the ground everything's kind of in flux.
So looking at the ground we see that it's that it's unstable.
And looking at his posture with his with his feet the way he's standing he's really trying to find his footing in this constantly shifting world.
So that's just a little bit of insight into how this page might feel emotionally.
Is like he's trying to find his footing.
He's trying to get his bearings straight.
And and figure things out.
But the game keeps changing.
You know the ground keeps shifting beneath him.
And he never really feels like he can get that stability.
And then if you look upward you see um all the clouds in the sky.
And the clouds represent mental confusion.
And maybe even having a gloomy Outlook.
And this is where again the Knight of Swords really differentiates himself from his contemporaries.
From from the other Pages the other pages are more optimistic in their approach to things.
Whereas the page of Swords even though he's young he has this like really jaded pessimistic Outlook.
So he's kind of gloomy.
And he's often kind of confused.
He has a lot of mental confusion.
Now you might also notice that there's some wind Happening Here.
We see the trees are are in the background are kind of being blown about.
His ponytail or his hair is being blown by the wind.
And to me that wind is just a representation of an everchanging environment.
And sort of the spirit of instability which the the page of Swords finds himself you know surrounded by.
And then again take another look at his his foot placement.
The way he's standing.
His posture shows that he's unsure of himself.
And he's looking back over his shoulder.
And this almost to me shows that he is kind of distracted.
He's looking behind him.
He might be a little bit uh untrusting.
Or he's kind of doubting himself.
He's like standing you know he's got one foot kind of pointed one's on the ground.
He's looking over his shoulder.
And even his arms are kind of like he's sort of like bracing for something.
He's like preparing for something.
So all of those symbols kind of paint a picture as to the page of swords' kind of mental and emotional state.
So let's talk about his talents.
You know what is the page of SWS good at.
Is there any upside to this card.
So the page of Swords is often witty and funny.
Which might surprise you.
Because I've just said he's you know jaded and pessimistic and gloomy and depressed and all of that.
Um but he's actually really.
He's kind of Brainy.
He's kind of smart.
And he can make everyone laugh.
He has a good sense of humor.
He's kind of witty.
And he can often be quite funny.
Now his unpredictable nature keeps everyone guessing.
And so people around him will always be like oh my gosh like what is he going to do next.
Like what is this guy going to do next.
He's a I don't want to say he's a loose cannon.
But he he has kind of an unpredictable nature which isn't really a good thing.
That's not really a talent.
But it does make him a little more interesting I think than some of the other Pages.
Again he's very intelligent.
He has a lot of different ideas.
He just doesn't know how to direct his mental energy.
So as he gets older he gets better at uh focusing on his ideas and getting things done.
Um but in his youth he can't really do this.
But he does have a lot of different ideas.
And he's smart.
So if you were to be at a party.
And you were to come across this page.
You would probably find him some like maybe not off in a corner.
But he'd be he'd be off on the sidelines.
Maybe binge drinking because his girlfriend just dumped him or something bad just happened in his life.
And he's upset.
And he's trying to drown his Sorrows.
Um he he's always kind of having some sort of Crisis.
Whether it's something major or something minor.
The page of Swords is really good at taking a minor crisis and a minor thing and making it major.
Like really focusing on it and blowing it out of proportion.
And really letting it unground him and UNM more him.
So he's always in some kind of crisis of some sort.
He really brings the drama to a party.
So he's the person that the party who again is like going through some kind of Crisis.
There's some kind of drama happening in his life.
Now in the workplace you don't want to work with this guy.
So so he waffles between being unemployed and having like very short lived jobs.
And again think of this character as being like a teenager or someone who's in their you know early 20s.
He's young.
He has a hard time focusing.
And he gets distracted easily.
So it's it's hard for him to work on something and get things done.
He's he's easily IL distracted.
I would even go so far as to say he's like a nightmare employee.
So if you were to have a business uh or if you were to work for a company.
And you're in charge of you know hiring and training this this guy.
This guy's a bit a little bit of a nightmare.
He's most likely out of all the different you know Court cards out of all uh 16 is there 16 yeah out of all the 16 coure cards.
He's most likely to really display some mental instability and perhaps even some drug issues.
He might steal from work.
Uh he might do drugs you know in the lunchroom or something like that.
Um and he can't really take Direction.
And he freaks out if anyone criticizes him.
So you might have worked with someone like this.
Or maybe you were like this when you were younger.
Or maybe you're like this now.
But if he's at work and someone gives him some feedback.
Even if they do it in a really kind diplomatic way he will just freak out.
He'll take it personally.
He'll blow it out of proportion.
He's really hard to talk with.
Again remember he's learning.
He's going to get better at all of this stuff as he gets older.
But while he's young he's learning about communication.
He's learning how to to figure out how his mind works.
And he's really trying to gain a sense of stability.
But he's struggling to do that.
Okay so bear with me.
I'm just going to switch my note sheet here.
Um fun fact.
It's actually my video looks like it's really bright where I am.
But it's actually really really dark.
And I'm having a really hard time reading what's on my what's on my Note sheet.
So if you see me like squinting like that that's why.
It's actually like not very bright where I am.
Okay so when it comes to love and relationships.
As you might have guessed this guy is a bit of a disaster.
So his relationships are always a disaster.
And they're characterized by instability and insecurity.
Remember the page of Swords is very insecure.
So this doesn't bode well for relationships.
He will most likely engage in short flings or volatile on and off again relationships with equally unstable people.
Now if he is lucky enough to ATT attract uh a good person who's you know maybe not unstable.
So if you attract someone who's stable they will most often be like the Martyr type who want to fix him.
And he'll just mistreat them accordingly.
So that's a dynamic that can kind of happen in some of his relationships.
His many insecurities will quickly erode any relationship.
This this is the kind of uh he's the kind of character who will get paranoid in a relationship.
And become maybe kind of possessive and controlling.
And this is all because he feels so insecure and unstable himself.
That when he's in a relationship he's just trying so hard to create that stability.
But he goes about doing it in the wrong way.
He tries to possess his partner.
He tries to control them.
He gets insecure.
He gets jealous.
And the relationship you know ultimately erods over time.
And remember I'm being a little bit harsh on this court card.
He's learning.
He's learning.
He's growing.
And he's making lots of mistakes in the realm of relationships.
He eventually figures things out as he gets older.
But his youthful years are a disaster or they're they're a challenge.
When it comes to money and finances.
You might have guessed the page of Swords is not great with money.
He spends recklessly.
And he never seems to have any money.
He quickly sabotages any money moneymaking prospects.
And he might even spend money on things to kind of boost his ego and plate his insecurities.
Let's talk about what he thrives on.
So these are things that will actually really help the uh page of Swords.
So the page of Swords thrives in a stable environment where there's a lot of rules a lot of structure and a really reliable schedule.
And he thrives on having the support and mentorship and guidance that he needs.
I almost think of the page of swords as being like a kid who grows up like as a foster kid and never has like a stable environment.
And is you know bounced around from home to home.
Um and I that's kind of how I think of of the page of swords.
And so if he finds himself in a place where there's a bit of structure and he has that mentorship and stability he really really thrives.
So his mentors need to be somewhat strict and straightforward and not too permissive.
So think about like the king and the Queen of Swords these would be great mentors for the for the page of Swords.
Um things like bound boundaries guidelines and assertiveness in others are all things that will actually really be helpful for this page of swords.
And also planning ahead and having some kind of strategy will be helpful for him.
Remember he's always trying to find his footing and create stability.
And so having a plan having goals making a plan having a schedule kind of getting organized having some kind of strategy this is really going to help him Thrive.
But he he's not very good at doing this on his own.
He needs a bit of guidance.
He needs some support and mentorship in order to really do this.
So some things that he can't stand.
He this is interesting.
Because his dislikes fluctuate with his various phases and whims.
So he might hate something one day and love it the next.
And and vice versa.
So he is very kind of unpredictable.
Anything that makes him feel more insecure than he already does he's not going to like.
So anything that just adds to the feeling of insecurity and instability he's not going to like that.
And having too many responsibilities heaped on him is something else that he can't stand.
So whenever I do a deep de in a court card I like to talk about the dark side of a court card.
But I feel like I've almost been doing that this whole time.
Never nevertheless we're going to dive into the dark side of the page of Swords.
So his dark side is that he can be very melancholy.
He struggles a lot with anxiety with depression with having a really overactive stressed out mind.
He really lacks self confidence.
And he can be dishonest.
He can be dishonest.
He's often kind of confused.
Like he may come across as being dis honest and unethical.
And that is because he's confused about his own values and his own sense of self.
So again as he gets older uh if he you know is growing and maturing those kinds of qualities will start to diminish over time.
But he's dishonest.
He's confused.
He's unethical.
He often will try to be someone that he's not.
And he's not a bad person.
That's the tricky thing with the page of Swords.
He's not so much a bad person.
He's just struggling.
And he's trying to figure things out.
And he's trying to get a sense of himself.
He's learning about himself and learning about who he is.
And he's just making a lot of mistakes along the way.
So let's talk about what this card actually means.
Cuz you might be listening to me Babble on and on and on about his personality.
And you're thinking okay yeah but what does it mean when this card shows up in a reading.
What does this card mean.
So so when the page of surge shows up in a reading it can sometimes highlight this feeling of feeling unstable or feeling unsure of yourself.
It might indicate a need to improve your communication skills or your mental focus.
It also might appear in a reading to encourage you to create more stability.
And to really support your own mental health.
It also also might encourage you to focus on really getting to know yourself better.
And like really developing more confidence in yourself and more self trust.
Okay last last page of notes here.
So a few ways to really embody this card is to find routines habits and activities and mentors that help you create more stability in your life.
Um and learning new techniques for really focusing your mind.
Like one I just want to show you what I just got.
I got this um this timer.
It's this like countdown timer clock.
And I use it for when I'm like working on something.
And I'll set it for like 10 minutes or 20 minutes or an hour.
And it it shows like the counting down.
And it just helps me kind of keep track of time and stay focused.
And so that's a tool a technique that I use to just really focus my mind uh so that I can get things done.
So that's one way of really kind of embodying this card.
Is to find new techniques new habits new ways of getting focused and really supporting yourself.
So some journaling questions now.
Journaling questions can be powerful.
These can help you make a real personal connection to the cards.
And really get to know the cards on a more intimate level.
So I've got three journaling questions for you.
Do you know anyone who's like this page.
As you were listening to me talk about this card were you thinking oh yeah I know someone like that.
Or maybe you know a few people like this.
What aspects of this page do you relate to.
Cuz when I'm when I think about him like I don't really relate to to always feeling unstable.
I feel pretty stable most of the time.
Um but I do relate to kind of feeling like a lack of focus and getting easily distracted.
So what aspect of this page do you relate to.
And how can you nurture your mental stability and mental focus.
What routines habits and support systems help you do this.
So those are just three questions.
And I'll actually put them um Below in the little info box below this video.
I'll put all those questions below too.
If you want to um if you if you miss one of the questions.
I'll put them below.
So you can check it out.
So that is my deep dive on the page of Swords.
So please leave me a comment.
Let me know what you thought.
Was this a card that you can relate to.
Did you learn anything new about this card.
Is this a card that you have trouble connecting with.
I have to admit that this card is one of the Court cards that I never really connect connected with until I started to to um do the notes for this video.
And started to really study this card.
And now I feel like I understand this card a little bit better.
But this is one of those cards that I that I always struggled with.
So let me know in the comments below what you what you thought.
And again just a reminder don't forget to download your court card cheat sheet.
I'll put the link below.
And thank you so much for watching.
I hope you learned a lot about the page of swords.
And my next video uh is going to be on the page of cups.
And he's a little more uh he's a little more lighter.
He's a little more fun than the page of Swords.
So I'm looking forward to that.
So again thank you so much for watching.

Hi I'm Kate the daily tarot girl and welcome to my tarot card meaning Deep dive video into the page of Pentacles.
I'm going to tell you all about this page.
I'm going to bring this page to life for you so that you feel a connection with this card.
So that the next time this card comes up in a reading you're going to know exactly how to interpret this card and how to connect with this card.
But first I have made you a special tarot Court card cheat sheet.
So if you want to download that cheat sheet I'm going to put the link below.
I know that the tarot Court cards can be tricky and so I've created this cheat sheet for you to use as a reference in your readings.
So if you want to grab your own copy again I'll put the link just below this video.
So um let's dive in.
Let's begin.
Uh the image that you see on your screen is the page of Pentacles and it's from the universal weight Tarot deck.
So the page of Pentacles the page is uh I think of the pages as being they're the most uh youthful out of all the court cards.
So the pages are like the students of the tarot.
And the page of Pentacles being the page of the suit of Pentacles the suit of Pentacles corresponds with the element Earth.
And Earth corresponds with all the Earthly kind of physical things that we encounter in our day to day lives.
So I think of the suit of Pentacles as being all about money finances Health the body physical possessions everything that we encounter in the Physical Realm.
So a few key words or sort of key personality traits of this page of Pentacles is that I always think of this page as being like a student.
Uh he's like a student.
He's very studious.
He's practical.
Uh he's a very grounded.
He's maybe even a little bit nerdy and he's learning.
That's the most important thing about this card that I want to emphasize is this page is learning.
He's learning how to survive and thrive in the physical world.
So he's learning you know how to make money how to manage his finances how to take care of himself how to take care of his health.
He's learning how to be successful and how to really lay the foundation and get started in life.
He's also very curious.
He's optimistic.
He's motivated and willing to learn.
He's a little bit naive because he's very young but he's well supported.
So he usually comes from a supportive family maybe a wealthy family if not a wealthy family just a very supportive family and he's figuring things out.
But he isn't exactly struggling.
When we get to some of the other Pages like the next video in this series is going to be on the page of swords and that page is definitely kind of struggling a little bit.
But the page of Pentacles he's not really struggling.
But he's figuring things out.
He's learning.
He's growing.
He's figuring it all out.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card the first most important symbol is the pentacle.
So you'll notice that this page is you know he's holding up this Pentacle and the pentacle is a monetary symbol.
It's like a big giant gold coin and he's holding it up in such a way that he he's observing it.
He's looking at it and he's almost revering it.
His stance is interesting.
So if you look at his stance his stance is almost like he can't decide which direction to go in.
Like he's a little bit unsure of himself and that really highlights the fact that he's young he's figuring things out he hasn't really come into his confidence yet.
So he is a little bit unsure of himself.
He's standing in this beautiful Green Field of Flowers and it's kind of this idyllic sort of spring like or summer like kind of landscape.
And it's a Calm Lands landscape.
And I think that that calmness kind of summarizes his personality and his character.
He is very grounded and practical and calm.
But it also kind of showcases that this page of Pentacles is never really he's not really challenged in any Deep Way.
His life is kind of easy going for the most part.
He's wearing a green Smock and this just makes me think of you know the fact that he's green he's young he's naive he's inexperienced he's green and he's wearing a fancy red hat.
And again this is kind of a symbol of wealth kind of shows that he's comes from sort of a wealthy well to do background.
Special talents that this page has he's a fast learner.
He's willing and able to learn.
He's actually like excited to learn.
He has this fresh young mind and he has like a really good memory.
He has a really sharp memory.
He lacks that jaded Outlook that most people have after they've you know existed on this planet for a certain amount of time.
He's not jaded.
He's very optimistic.
But he's also realistic.
So he's optimistic and realistic.
He has dreams but all his dreams are fairly achievable.
Like this isn't the kind of character who fantasizes about being a movie star or a rock star or a billionaire.
Like all of his fantasies and his dreams are all like very much doable.
He has a real thirst for knowledge.
He's like he has a mind like a sponge like he just wants to learn learn learn and he's very resourceful.
So up until this point I've kind of characterized him as coming from a wealthy family and being kind of well to do.
But even if he isn't from a wealthy family and he doesn't have a lot of money he's very resourceful.
He knows how to work with the tools that he has and how to make the most of any kind of opportunities that are given to him.
So if you were to go to a party and meet this page of Pentacles the page of Pentacles would be he's kind of a Wallflower.
So he's like the person who is maybe on the other side of the room sort of like uh sort of camouflaging into the wallpaper.
Like you may not notice him right away.
You might notice him like two hours into the party.
You're like oh yeah who's that guy who's been standing over there for the last two hours.
So he's a bit of a Wallflower.
He's very shy and overall kind of quiet.
But if you start to talk to him and if you happen to ask him about one of his Hobbies or interests now remember he reads a lot of books um he loves comics and movies and things like that.
So if you happen to ask him about one of his Hobbies he becomes this Chatterbox.
He just opens up and you can't you can't shut him up at that point.
He's not exactly uncomfortable at a party but he's also not exactly at ease either.
He's not socially awkward really but parties aren't his like natural environment.
He rarely goes to parties because usually he's at home studying.
When it comes to work and career this is where the page of Pentacles really shines.
So he's very hard working.
He's eager to learn.
Uh he improves quickly.
If you're a boss you will love the page of Pentacles.
He's like a dream employee.
If you're his co worker you might have a different take.
So you might actually find his Keener go getter attitude really irritating and annoying.
I remember working with this guy his name was Colin and I worked with him when I worked in a bank.
And we were kind of close in age and we got hired kind of around the same time.
And Colin was a real go getter.
He was just eager to learn.
He was eager to you know learn all these new skills and he would never waste time.
So if he didn't have anything to do um like I remember if I didn't have anything to do I'd you know check my email or Google things right.
He wouldn't he he was a really hard worker.
He would take that time to like learn new skills and I just remember feeling so annoyed working with Colin because he was just so optimistic about work and so excited about being there and learning new things and I just couldn't stand that.
He just really irritated me.
Music.
Pentacles is being like the intern or the practicum student or the new hire.
Everyone a lot of questions because he wants to learn everything about everything and he's super curious and he just wants to be in the know.
So he's going to ask a lot of questions.
He also likes to be organized.
This is the kind of guy who shows up to work 10 minutes early every day or at least always right on time.
And he has a plan.
He knows what to expect.
He's prepared.
He's organized and he's also really good at building things and working with his hands.
And I haven't really mentioned this yet um but he's he's also because he's you know the page of Pentacles and the Pentacles is like the most physical suit he's good at like actually physically building things.
All right so when it comes to love and romance this is where things get kind of funny as they usually do.
So when it comes to love and romance the page of Pentacles is honest.
He's genuine and he's always very affectionate towards his partner.
But he completely lacks the ability to be romantic or to be like erotically exciting.
So he has this like really straightforward way of communicating his feelings in a relationship.
He sees no point in playing silly games.
He doesn't understand that whole aspect of dating which is good.
This is this is all good stuff.
This is a good thing.
But he he also doesn't really pick up on like subtle flirting or like subtle vibes.
So if you find a page of Pentacles that you're interested in romantically um flirting with this this character flirting with him putting out vibes he's not gonna pick up on it.
He's really dense when it comes to this kind of stuff.
He prefers like very upfront clear direct communication.
Now he wants kind of a traditional type of relationship and when I say traditional I mean like he really wants like a very sturdy solid monogamous relationship where the two of you uh really like plan for the future or you know focus on like really building a life together.
He's not afraid of commitment but he will most likely put his studies first in his career first and once that's all in order then he'll shift his Focus to uh his relationship.
He's really turned off by people who are a little bit lost people who are kind of finding themselves and seeking.
He wants to be with someone who knows who they are and has a plan.
He prefers a stable relationship over an exciting one and he's really just seeking a partner who like really matches his focus and his motivation.
When it comes to money and finances this page is just learning how to manage his money and how to build his wealth.
He's not wealthy yet but he will be eventually.
He's very Thrifty and he's sensible with his money and he's really motivated by the stability that having extra money brings as opposed to like the flashy side of wealth.
So once he you know is financially comfortable he's not really going to be splurging on flashy cars and and flashy outfits and things like that.
He doesn't care about that.
He just loves the like stability aspect of having extra money.
So the page of Pentacles really thrives on learning.
He's all about learning.
He thrives on gaining new experiences in his chosen field of work or study and he loves being able to pick the brains of experts or knowledgeable people.
He loves reading non fiction.
He he loves the library.
He also loves the museums and he's the kind of guy who loves to read non fiction books so he can learn all these like random facts about things and then like later regurgitate those facts in conversation because he thinks it impresses people and makes him interesting.
It doesn't.
It doesn't impress anyone but he thinks that it does and he loves doing it.
And ultimately he really thrives on creating a sense of stability for himself.
Some things that he cannot stand so these are some things that drive this page crazy.
He can't stand in sincerity or being deceived.
He can't stand being around people who are unstable or flaky or flighty who offer him false promises.
I know everyone is bothered by that but the page of Pentacles particularly is annoyed by this.
This is totally unforgivable to him um he doesn't like people who withhold information or who are kind of cagey or mysterious or someone who like kind of brushes off his questions and kind of is dismissive towards him when he asks some questions.
The one thing that really bothers him though is if he feels like he isn't making progress.
He's all about building a foundation and then building on top of that foundation and making progress and if he feels like he's not really doing that that's really going to eat away at him.
He also can't stand feeling unstable in any way.
So Financial instability emotional instability relationship instability any kind of instability is going to really bother him and get under his skin.
There's some people who Thrive during times of instability.
There's some people who just know how to go with the flow and make things work.
The page of Pentacles isn't one of those people.
So the page of Pentacles loves things to be somewhat predictable and you know he likes to be organized.
He likes to have his ducks in a row.
He likes to show up on time and know exactly what's expected of him.
So any kind of instability kind of throws him off a little bit.
So let's talk about his dark side.
So the page of Pentacles doesn't really have a dark side um so his negative qualities that I'm going to share with you they're really they're really just because he's so young and inexperienced and a little bit naive.
So he's very naive to the fact that not everybody comes from you know not everyone has a good family support system like he does and he has this belief that if you work hard you'll succeed and be rewarded because that's what's always been true for him.
He doesn't realize that that isn't necessarily true for everyone.
He doesn't understand why everyone just doesn't go to university like he does and he kind of looks down on others who lack his peppy optimistic motivated attitude and he can sort of like spout off these like simplistic explanations for complex problems like poverty addiction crime.
He'll have these like really simple explanations as to why that's a problem and again you know this is kind of his dark side but it's really just down to the fact that he's young he's inexperienced he hasn't had a chance to be out in the world and and figure things out yet.
All right so I'm gonna give you some ways to embody this card.
So some ways to embody the page of Pentacles is to read a history book or some other kind of non fiction book.
Take a university course or any kind of course and like really study study study or learn about financial management and wealth building.
These are all things that are you know within the realm of the page of Pentacles.
Some journaling questions I have for you do you know anyone like this page.
Like I know that guy that I used to work with who totally reminds me of that page um what aspects of this page do you relate to.
And I want you to share this with me just below uh in the comment section below this video.
Let me know like what part of this video of this page of Pentacles do you most strongly relate to.
I really relate to his like desire to be organized and have his ducks in a row and know what to expect and for things to run smoothly and be stable.
I'm definitely like that.
I can relate to that part.
Which aspect of this page would you like to incorporate into your life more.
So I would love to incorporate his like peppy motivated attitude.
That's something that I completely lack in life and I would love to be one of those people or maybe I wouldn't.
I don't know.
What new things are you excited to learn.
Because the page of Pentacles loves to learn so what are you excited to learn.
What do you really want to learn more about.
So thank you so much for watching.
I hope that you enjoyed this video.
I hope you feel like this page of Pentacles is like your neighbor or your friend.

Hi I'm Kate the daily tarot girl and welcome to my deep dive into the Knight of Wands.
So I'm gonna tell you all about the Knight of Wands.
I'm gonna tell you all about his personality.
I'm going to explain many of the symbols on this card.
And I'm going to teach you so much about this card so that the next time you get the Knight of Wands in a reading you're gonna know exactly what he means.
And you're gonna feel like he's an easy card to connect with.
But first before we get into it I have a free gift for you.
It is my tarot Court card cheat sheet.
So I have made this cheat sheet for you to help you in your readings because I know that the court cards can be kind of tricky to learn and to remember.
So I've created a helpful cheat sheet for you to have on hand for your next reading.
If you want a copy of the cheat sheet I'm just gonna put the link below where you can grab that copy.
All right so let's dive in to the Knight of Wands.
So the image that you see on your screen is from the universal weight tarot.
And the Knight of Wands the suit of Wands corresponds with the element of Fire.
And Fire is passionate.
It is all about energy and action and passion and spirit.
There is this real um spirit this real energy with that element of Fire.
In the knights in general are all about at being adventurous being energetic uh that really like driven energy that outward focused energy.
And so when you have that energy of the night matched with the energy of the suit of Wands and fire it is almost like um it's like two very similar energies coming together.
So the so the Knight of Wands is exceptionally passionate and energetic and fiery.
So a few key words to uh think about when you get this card the Knight of Wands is very adventurous.
He's probably the most adventurous out of all the nights.
And he's energetic.
He's inspired.
He's Dynamic.
He has a creative side to him.
He's of course very passionate.
When he's excited about something he has this spark this passion within him.
He also has kind of a competitive streak.
He loves a challenge or a quest.
He's goal oriented.
He is a world traveler.
And he craves change and movement.
Now I think of the Knight of Wands as being like an Indiana Jones type character.
And if we think of all the nights I think of the Knight of Swords being kind of like a James Bond character.
I think of the Knight of Cups being like a Don Juan kind of seductive sort of character.
I'm not sure about the Knight of Pentacles.
He's he's a little bit boring compared to the other nights.
But then I think of Knight of Wands as being like a an Indiana Jones type character.
So hopefully even just associating this this card with Indiana Jones will kind of jog a few um uh keywords and memories for you when this card comes up for you.
So let's talk about the symbols on this card.
So first I want you to have a look at this card and notice the pyramids in the background of this card.
Now I'm going to go off in a little bit of a tangent here because the night of Swords it or Knight of Swords Knight of Wands is really good at directing his energy.
And pyramids I see as being a symbol of dispersing or channeling energy.
So think about that pyramid shape.
And I was reading somewhere and I can't remember where I was reading this.
I was reading the summer that there's this theory that the pyramids were built as a way to communicate with the cosmos or as a way to sort of take some of that cosmic energy and bring it down onto the Earth.
Because the pyramids are aligned with certain certain stars and certain um what's the word constellations.
And so there is this theory that they were built in some way to Direct Energy or Channel energy in some some sort of way.
And so I want you to think of the pyramid you could either think of it as being a tool for bringing energy down or gathering energy and sending it upwards.
However you think of it this is a symbol of directing energy in some way.
And this Knight of Wands is particularly gifted at directing his energy and his willpower.
He's also holding a wand or a staff that's another symbol of directing energy.
And on his particular staff there's some green some new growth some green leaves.
And I think this just uh really shows that this Knight of Wands is he's very Dynamic.
There's this sense of like new growth and excitement with this night.
I want you to notice is the desert in the background.
It's a very warm it has a the desert's warm hot dry kind of fiery energy just like this night.
And the colors on this card are primarily kind of a reddishy orange and yellow.
And this aligns with both the second and the third chakras.
And if you think especially the third chakra the solar plexus chakra is all about Will and willpower.
That's a big theme with this energy center.
And the Knight of Wands is very much connected to this particular chakra this energy Centra.
So Energy Center so this night is very good at um tapping into his own energy and using his sense of willpower determination and focus to get things done and to make things happen.
There's salamanders or Lizards on this night's tunic or his his gown or the outfit that he's wearing his garments.
Um so there's these salamanders and I wasn't really sure what lizards or salamanders May symbolize.
So I Googled it and one thing that came up was a quote.
And it didn't say where this quote was from which was really frustrating.
Um but the quote said that salamanders represent immortality rebirth passion and the ability to withstand flames.
And I thought oh that's so interesting.
Because this particular night while I don't think he's Immortal he has this ability to reinvent himself.
He's very passionate.
And the ability to withstand Flames I thought was so interesting.
Because I think of this night as being the kind of character who would run into a burning building to save someone.
When he sees a disaster or some kind of action he runs towards it.
He doesn't run away from it.
There's also a red feather in his helmet and to me that made me think of that phrase a feather in your cap.
So a feather in your cap is when you achieve something.
So if you if you achieve something or you um you do something extraordinary that's a feather in your cap.
And I think that that really symbolizes what this night is all about.
And if you'll notice on this card that this Red Feather um there's also kind of a similar um thing kind of down by his arm by his elbow.
And it almost kind of looks like flames.
And I feel like that that symbol of flames and and showing that this night this night is kind of on fire.
He's very fiery.
He's very driven.
He's very passionate.
I feel like that just really kind of typifies this night.
Yeah and then the horse that he's riding is Super Active.
And what's interesting is if you compare all the night cards together you'll notice that their horses are all doing slightly different things.
Like the night of Pentacles the horse is standing still.
The Knight of Cups the horses has just like one hoof up one leg up.
He's just kind of trotting slowly.
And then this night um the night of Wands his horse is he's I don't think his horse is charging forward.
It's like he's dancing forward.
Like there's a certain kind of playfulness and joyfulness.
I don't think that the Knight of Wands is like this super driven character like the Knight of Swords.
He's more playful and adventurous in his approach to things.
Okay so this horse the way he's Galloping it shows that he's taking action.
He's moving forward but he's doing it in kind of a Dancy kind of fun way.
So let's talk about the talents of this night.
So this particular night has some really special abilities and talents.
He's very adventurous.
And he fearlessly follows his passion.
He's really good at solving Mysteries completing quests and slaying dragons.
He's always up for a challenge.
He doesn't really have a comfort zone.
In fact being uncomfortable and being kind of out of his comfort zone is his comfort zone.
If that makes sense so he doesn't really have a comfort zone.
He's Most At Ease when he's flying by the seat of his pants and gallivanting around unfamiliar territory.
He knows exactly how to direct his fiery energy into important tasks projects and quests.
And he has unlimited energy and drive when it comes to things that he's personally interested in.
So the Knight of Wands is not the kind of character who is going to put a lot of time and energy into doing something that he isn't personally intrigued by.
If he's interested in something if he's inspired by something that gives him unlimited Drive focus and energy to go after that thing and to figure something out.
But if he's not actually interested then he's just not going to have the get up and go to achieve that thing.
If you were to run into this night at a party he would be fun.
He would be talkative.
He would be Lively.
But he wouldn't stay very long if the crowd was boring.
He's the kind of guy who's likely to know of like 10 different parties happening uh nearby.
So he will have his pick.
He doesn't have to hang out at a boring party if he doesn't want to.
He has a wide Social Circle and he loves having friends from all walks of life.
So this is the kind of character who will have like all different friends.
Um I remember having a friend like this when I was younger and she knew so many people.
And they were always people from all different countries and different backgrounds and different religions.
Like everyone was so different.
And that's what this night is like.
He likes to have like this really like wide um uh what's the word just this wide Social Circle of you know he doesn't limit his friends to like one type of person.
He likes to have a real range of friends from all different backgrounds.
He loves to dance and play games like charades.
He loves a good costume party.
And his dramatic Flair might surprise you if you invite him to like a costume party.
You might be surprised at how how well he takes to that dramatic kind of angle.
When it comes to work and career this night will not last long in a normal job.
He's not going to be sitting at a cubicle somewhere or you know doing any of those sort of normal type jobs that most people do.
He's best suited to something that's super challenging very adventurous and kind of quest like.
So a few careers that would be well suited for this night would be being an investigative journalist being like a war correspondent or a documentary filmmaker.
A spy or a tour guide to kind of off the beaten path destinations.
Being a detective a private investigator anything that's like really Mission focused especially if it's something that changes day to day where there's no element of predictability.
Where it's like something new and different every day.
And um something that is more like project focused.
So you're really focused on one kind of project but then once that gets wrapped up there's something new.
So there's like a lot of variety.
If you throw him into any like highly challenging situation he'll find a way to make the most of it.
So this night does really well in situations that are challenging active.
And I think I said earlier like this is the kind of guy who would run into a burning building to save someone.
So even being like a firefighter or something like that might be up this night's alley.
All right on to sheet number two.
And you might have noticed my voice sounds a little bit uh a little bit scratchy a little bit Gravelly.
I'm just getting over cold right now.
So I'm still a little bit sinusy and a little bit stuffed up.
Okay so when it comes to love and romance you might have already guessed that this night is not really a relationship kind of guy.
He Longs for adventure.
He loves Challenge and he loves newness.
He loves exploring new people and and new things.
So he finds the quest phase of a relationship to be really thrilling.
And he'll take his lovers on all kinds of like wonderful dates.
He loves that Quest phase.
But he has a hard time settling down with one person at least while he's young.
As this Knight matures into the king of Wands he changes.
He becomes different.
And this fear of settling down isn't really a thing.
But in his younger night phase he doesn't really want to settle down.
Nevertheless he's still seeking a partner.
So he's seeking a partner that can keep up with his adventurous side and someone who really loves to travel.
He's a very exciting character to date.
So this kind of night is not he doesn't have to chase anyone.
He's just a very charismatic person.
People feel naturally drawn to him.
And he's an exciting exciting guy to go on a date with.
He's very passionate and he's thrilling in all the right ways.
And he comes off as being very worldly and experienced.
But this is kind of the downside.
This is where things get a little bit darker.
He seeks to conquer.
And he sees love as like a conquest a dragon to be slayed.
And he isn't really sure what to do once he's won his prize.
So he loves that Quest phase in a relationship.
But once he's got the person he's like now what now what do I do.
So many of his relationships tend to kind of burn out and fizzle.
But like I said this improves as he gets older.
So when it comes to money and finances the Knight of Wands isn't always practical and Thrifty.
He tends to fly by the seat of his pants and not really plan ahead when it comes to money.
And he might actually waffle between having no money at all to suddenly usually by luck receiving a windfall whether that's by an inheritance uh gambling winnings uh winning the lottery uh Landing a high paying freelance gig.
So he kind of goes between no money to all of a sudden I have a lot of money and then losing it again and being kind of right back where he started.
He has this kind of feaster famine mentality that would drive most people crazy.
But he's fine with it.
He's used to that.
He's okay flying by the seat of his pants.
And he's very adaptive.
He kind of you know can adapt to different situations.
So whether he hardly has any money in the bank or he's got tons of money it doesn't really seem to affect his sense of happiness or well being which is interesting.
I know a couple of people like this.
I myself am more of a Pentacles type like a Queen of Pentacles type character.
Um but it's interesting how there's some people who uh can just kind of fly by the seat of their pants when it comes to money.
So the Knight of Wands thrives on having a sense of purpose plus an opportunity for adventure and exploration.
So this idea of going on an adventure being given some kind of challenge going on a quest this is what really lights him up and fires him up.
So if you give him a treasure to find or a mystery to solve or a secret to unearth this is when he is really on his game.
This really excites him.
The more impossible the task or the more impossible the mission is the better.
Because he loves a big challenge.
He also loves a change of scenery.
And he loves to be surrounded by new things new places and new people to discover and explore.
The Knight of Wands cannot stand being stuck in one place.
I mean that's kind of true for most of the nights except maybe the Knight of Pentacles.
Um he can't stand monotony sameness routine and going at a slow pace.
He absolutely despises rest and relaxation.
So his worst nightmare is just lying on a beach somewhere sipping pina coladas.
Like that is not his idea of a good time.
I think most of us like oh yeah like just lying on a beach doing nothing and drinking all day lying in the sun would be great.
But this night like hates that.
That's like his worst fear.
Um he needs to be constantly challenged.
And he really needs an outlet for the strong current of energy that is always running through him.
So coming back to what I said at the beginning of the video this night is very good at directing his energy.
But he needs something to direct his energy into.
Now if he doesn't have anything to direct his energy into this is when his dark side will come out.
So the Knight of Wands isn't really a dark character.
Like it's easy for me to find kind of the dark side of the Knight of Swords or the annoying side of the Knight of Pentacles or the kind of Playboy side of the Knight of Cups.
But the Knight of Wands is actually a very upbeat kind of a sunshiny character.
However if he has nowhere to direct his energy into if he has nothing to challenge him this is where his dark side will come out.
He can become very impatient and restless.
And he can like constantly be seeking out adventure and challenge.
He may become an agent of chaos and a loose cannon if he has nowhere to put his energy.
So think of like a uh a cable like an electrical cable that that gets knocked down in a windstorm.
And it has nowhere.
And it's just like flipping around like that.
And it's like this really dangerous thing.
That is the Knight of Wands if he doesn't have any project or any challenge or anything to focus on no goals nothing.
Um that is what the Knight of wand is like.
He's like a live wire.
He can be very chaotic.
Uh he might and this will show up like he might start picking fights with people whether it's family members or friends.
Like he'll start nitpicking and trying to like get people to fight with him.
He might become violent or angry or dangerous if he can't direct his flaming energy into something constructive.
So some ways to embody this card is to take a trip somewhere adventurous and exotic or somewhere that you've just never been.
Going on a road trip to somewhere new or even just planning like an action packed day.
Exploring some new and unfamiliar things like exploring a new park or a museum or a cafe that you've never been to.
Going on a quest like solving a mystery trying to figure something out and finding a passion project to put your energy into.
These are all ways of really um embodying kind of the the energy of this card.
So I have a few journaling questions for you.
The first one is how or where can you benefit from this Knight of Wands zest for life and new experiences.
So if you think of all the different areas of your life and situations that you find yourself in which one of those could you really benefit from that zesty kind of thirst for adventure type energy that this Knight has.
In what areas of your life are you craving more Adventure.
How can you better direct your energy right now.
In what inspires motivates and excites you.
This is key because this Knight of Wands he is only energized by things that truly excite him and interest him.
Which sounds like you're thinking well yeah of course isn't that everyone.
But no it isn't.
Some people can have the energy and drive to do something if they're paid enough money.
They might not be interested in that project or that work.
But if they're being paid enough they can muster the enthusiasm where the Knight of Wands isn't really driven by money.
He needs to be personally intrigued and invested and interested in whatever he's putting his energy into.
So what inspires you.
What motivates you.
What excites you.
And I'm gonna put those um journaling questions just below this video.
And if you want to see the written version of this video you can check out my blog post version.
I'll put the link to that below as well.

So the Knight of Cups is of the suit of Cups and the suit of Cups corresponds to the element of water and water has to do with emotions feelings relationships and this sense of flow which I will be referring to throughout this video.
So the image that you see on your screen of the Knight of Cups is from the universal weight Tarot.
All right so I'm going to start by giving you a list of keywords and personality traits that sum up this night.
So the Knight of Cups is emotional.
He's very creative.
He's highly sensitive and intuitive.
He's artistic.
He's very romantic and can be quite idealistic.
He's seeking fulfillment.
He's seeking to really have his cup filled and he's not afraid of having strong feelings and he isn't afraid of expressing strong feelings.
So this is the kind of guy who really wears his heart on his sleeve and he's good at expressing his emotions in a in a easy to understand sort of way.
He follows his heart and he can be kind of flighty and Flaky because when you follow your heart you can sometimes have a change of heart.
So to others he may seem a little bit flaky flaky or flighty and he can be overly romantic and sort of fawning with another person.
So some symbols to pay attention to is the main symbol is the cup that he's holding out in front of him and that cup is an empty cup that he's holding out.
So he's wanting to fill that cup and to me this shows that he is a Seeker.
He's searching for something.
He has a certain kind of expectation there's a certain void that he's looking to fill with that cup and then you'll also notice that there are wings on his helmet and his shoes uh or his his feet and those wings to me represent kind of a flighty nature.
So he can change his mind easily and he can also change his Direction easily as well when he has a change of heart.
You'll notice that there is some red fish on his uh his robe and just think about fish for a moment.
They live in the water.
They can dive into the depths of the ocean and to me this is a symbol for this night's ability to Traverse the emotional Realms.
And I think sometimes this night can feel a little bit like a fish out of water.
Sometimes you'll notice the background on this card is very dry and desert like and then there's this beautiful blue river running through that desert.
To me the desert makes me think of like a thirst.
Like this Knight is thirsting for something.
He is looking for something to quench his thirst.
He has a certain desire.
He's seeking something and then the water that is flowing through this card in the form of a river is a symbol of flow and again I'm going to be talking about flow throughout this video.
So that River symbolizes the flow of things and the ever changing nature of things and also emotional depth.
So let's talk about this night's talents.
So this night is highly creative and very artistic especially when it comes to like acting or drama.
He's really good at making others feel things and tapping into emotion.
So this is where he would be a really good actor or um even thinking of like a stage actor like he's really able to tap into emotions and then Express those in a way that affects other people.
So people watching will really feel his emotions through his his acting.
He's very emotionally perceptive and highly intuitive and he listens to his heart although it's sometimes leads him astray and he's really good at going with the flow.
And again here is that sense of flow.
So this Knight loves to go with the flow.
He loves um that sort of continual flexibility and adapting to change that that requires.
So he's very adaptable.
He can sort of change his mind quickly change the direction that he's going very quickly and just really kind of be loosey goosey and go with the flow.
People are drawn to open up to him and share their emotional world with him and for this reason he would make like a really great bartender or a hairdresser because people immediately want to open up to this guy because they sense his emotional uh sensitivity and and his intuition.
They sense that he's this this very um highly perceptive character and he's also I didn't write this in my notes but I also think of the the Knight of Cups as being kind of non judgmental.
He's not a real um he's not a real judgy character.
He doesn't have any like solidly formed opinions about things and for that reason people feel like they can just be themselves when they're around him.
He makes his love interests feel extra special.
He really does a lot of fawning and makes a big deal of them and so he can make people feel extra special when they're in his company and not just love interests but also friends.
Like if you're a good friend of the Knight of Cups he makes you feel so special and so loved.
Now if you were to go to a party and the Knight of Cups was there you will most likely find him mixing drinks.
He's like the bartender making sure everyone's having a good time.
He's highly social.
So when he's at a party he loves to like just float around the room and talk to everyone there.
However uh if he happens to be a recovering alcoholic you might find him in a corner talking to whoever will listen to him about his journey to sobriety.
He loves to talk about that.
People are drawn to him and it's almost like he has this kind of magnetic quality.
People are really drawn to share their secrets with him to really open up and share their not just their secrets but also their problems and issues and he loves this.
Like he loves a deep conversation.
Let's talk about this night at work.
So when it comes to work and career this night does really well in artsy professions that allow him to perform.
So think like musician an actor an artist something where he's in front of people performing.
He's also really good at healing and that's something I haven't touched on yet.
So the suit of Cups and the element of water are also associated with healing and this night is most likely to be like not any kind of healer but like maybe a sexual healer or doing something kind of like a shamani type type thing.
Some sort of spiritual healing.
He's a very spiritual guy and he he may even be like a nurse or something like that like he just has this really uh healing kind of energy to him.
He'd also make a good counselor or a bartender or a hairdresser any kind of profession where people are like opening up and pouring their hearts out to him that would be something that he's really good at and he loves jobs where he can really like touch people's lives in a deeper way.
If you work with this guy he is the co worker that everyone goes to with personal problems.
He's a really good shoulder to cry on because he is very um he's sensitive.
He has empathy.
He makes people feel special.
He's a good listener.
He's not judgmental.
So people just really want to open up to him.
He is prone to office romances and Affairs of the heart and so rest assured when the Knight of Cups enters a workplace things are about to get a whole lot more interesting with this guy in the mix.
But he really won't stay in any one particular job for too long because he has this sense of flow.
He likes to go with the flow.
He doesn't want to feel stagnant and staying in one job for too long will make him feel stagnant and trapped.
So he loves change.
He loves Adventure.
So he usually doesn't stick with anything for too long.
All right now this is actually going to be a long ish video.
I've got three I have three pages of notes to to get through here.
So when it comes to love this is where things get really really interesting with this night.
So when it comes to love he is like I said he's very romantic um but he's also really idealistic when it comes to romance which kind of bites him in the butt.
So he's on a quest to find the one.
He loves this idea of there being this one person out there this soul mate that he has to find.
He loves that idea and he really is the ultimate romantic but he tends to fall in love really easily and really quickly and he falls out of love just as easily and just as quickly.
In a relationship he's very caring.
He's very nurturing and he sees sex as this healing act and really in some ways he is like the perfect boyfriend if not for some of his darker sides.
So he has a hard time with long term relationships and commitment and I'm gonna get into that.
So he's always looking for someone to fill his cup.
This guy is kind of a relationship addict.
He's probably always in a relationship or he's always kind of obsessed with someone or in loved with someone but it's always changing.
It's never really the same.
So he's always looking for someone to fill his cup but once he finds that person he quickly loses interest.
Like once things start to feel more stable and settled he starts to lose interest.
He can come across as being a little bit flaky and a little bit flighty and this is for two reasons.
So because he always follows his heart and he leads with his emotions and emotions are prone to shift and change.
Our feelings don't stay the same.
So if you're following your feelings and doing things according to your feelings your feelings change and so this can make him seem kind of flaky because he changes his mind a lot and he loves to go with the flow.
So he loves to change and adapt according to what the circumstances ask of him and again this can sometimes make him seem sort of unstable.
So it's it's interesting because that sense of flow and willingness to adapt to change is actually his superpower but it's also kind of his downfall in some ways as well.
So when it comes to love and romance he has the ability to make you feel like you are the most special person in the room.
People feel seen and heard by the Knight of Cups.
So if you are in a romance with the Knight of Cups you feel like you are being seen and understood on this whole deeper level and it makes you just want to open up to him and give him everything and then once you do it's like poof.
He's gone.
He's on to the next adventure.
He is often a Serial dater and he's always seeking an adventure of the heart.
Now here's an interesting part with him.
So monogamy is something that he kind of idealizes.
He idealizes this idea of the one and being in this loving committed monogamous partnership that is like this ideal to him yet once he's in a monogamous relationship he feels like it's kind of stagnant and he starts to feel frustrated by it and he has all these various ideals these romantic ideals that he projects onto his partners and inevitably none of his Partners can ever live up to his ideals and his expectations.
So he ends up feeling really disappointed and disillusioned in relationships because of this and he will sometimes use that as justification for ending things um or for even being unfaithful.
Is that he will feel sort of slighted and disappointed by the person that he's in a relationship with because they just didn't meet you know his high expectations or his ideals.
The Knight of Cups can be at once deep yet shallow and this is because he's able to really Plumb the depths of his emotions and other people's emotions yet it doesn't mean that much to him because it comes so easy to him.
So connecting with someone on a deep level is something that comes easily to him.
So when it happens it's not really special or out of the ordinary like it might be for the other person that he's in the relationship with um so so yeah because depth of feeling doesn't mean as much to him as it does to others Um this can be kind of a point of frustration in his relationships and it definitely doesn't mean permanence to him.
So he might feel a deep sense of love and connection with someone and for a lot of people that would bring with it like a certain kind of weight like oh this person is special I feel so connected with them but it's not so with the with the Knight of Cups because those connections come easily to him.
He's the kind of guy that says I don't want any drama I don't want any drama I just want a beautiful relationship with no drama and that is a lie.
He loves drama.
He loves drama so much that he unintentionally and unconsciously creates it wherever he goes.
So we're gonna get into that when we talk about the dark side to this night um but he's just one of those guys that will say I don't want any drama but he secretly loves it.
So when it comes to money and finances the Knight of Cups has no restraint or sensibility when it comes to money and spending.
He spends frivolously and he's always seeing things that he wants and he just buys it without thinking about it.
Money flows to him easily though and it also flows away from him just as easily.
He's not really like he's not really into money.
He's not really a materialistic person.
It's the feelings and the relationships that are his drug not money.
But sometimes he might get lucky and strike it rich as a famous musician or an actor or an artist and money will flow very easily to him but it also flows away from him just as easily.
So he'll find ridiculous ways to spend his money um any Investments that he makes tend to be a disaster.
He tends to make decisions with his heart and his emotions rather than his head and when it comes to financial decisions he would really be better off using his head to make those but it's just not in his nature and so for that reason a lot of his Investments are just kind of disastrous.
So some things that this Knight of Cups thrives on.
The Knight of Cups thrives on adventure a change of pace and romance particularly.
He also loves High emotion situations.
So he loves drama whether he's in a group where you know people are fighting or if he's with someone who's having an emotional breakdown or he's in a new relationship where the feelings of love and Obsession are really high it doesn't really matter what the feeling is.
He is just really addicted to being around people who are experiencing those strong emotions.
He loves that high drama.
He loves being able to express his own emotions in a creative way like through writing poetry or through acting or art or music.
He's also very spiritual.
So he really thrives on mystical and spiritual things like past lives uh chakras and yoga.
If you know a Knight of Cups guy in your life one way to really grab his interest is start talking about things like tarot or Ayahuasca trips then he's going to be like oh that's the kind of kind of stuff he's into.
So some things that he can't stand some things that really drive him nuts is number one people who hold back and hide their true feelings and people that are kind of Stuffy and uptight.
But what's interesting is those are also the kinds of people he's kind of drawn to in a romantic sense.
So you will often find that this uh night of Cups guy will end up with like um maybe even like a Queen of Pentacles kind of kind of woman like a woman who's very um maybe that's not a good example but quite often the Knight of Cups will be drawn to women that seem kind of emotionally closed off because they see it as a challenge to get them to kind of open up and and share themselves.
So um he he's driven absolutely crazy by uh people who hold back and hide their true feelings yet he's also kind of entranced and intrigued by those people at the same time.
He can't stand being stuck in one place for too long and this is because he he has that desire to flow just like the river in this car.
The Knight of Cups wants to move.
He wants to flow.
He wants to go on an adventure.
He wants to have new experiences.
He doesn't want to stay stuck in one place for too long.
He also can't stand too much commitment or too much routine.
So commitments and routines while something like this is going to be really appealing to the Knight of Pentacles the Knight of Cups really can't stand this because he really wants to be able to go with the flow and anything that impedes him from doing that is going to really bother him.
So let's talk about his dark side.
Ah okay so the dark side of the Knight of Cups is that he can be emotive and shallow at the same time.
And I kind of talked a little bit about this but deep feelings and emotional bonds don't really mean much to him because they come so easily to him and he tends to kind of flit around from one person to the next person looking for that connection but when he finds that connection he feels kind of stifled by it.
So that's kind of an interesting conundrum that that he experiences.
A real Heartbreaker for this reason because when someone when a person meets and falls in love with the Knight of Cups like I mentioned before they feel seen they feel heard they feel um like their sexual relationship can be very healing and very deep um but the Knight of Cups isn't as isn't always as deeply connected as it might seem at first.
So he tends to break a lot of hearts and one thing I want to say here is that the Knight of Cups I'm kind of giving him a a rough uh go of it here.
He's not a bad guy.
He's just young.
He's has this thirst for adventure.
He's kind of restless and so in some ways he's kind of like the perfect boyfriend if he could only just grow up a little bit and and fix some of his issues around commitment.
So when he gets to the king stage like the king of Cups uh he has so many wonderful traits but but when he's in the night stage um It's Tricky.
It's a little bit tricky.
So he loves drama and he might actually like unconsciously create drama whether it's in the workplace or in his relationships because he really feeds off of drama whether it's positive drama or negative drama.
Like I said he's not a bad guy but he just loves a little bit of drama.
He loves a little bit of Gossip.
There's something that happens when drama is happening.
It's like it Sparks something in his soul.
It's like his very being just comes alive in the midst of drama.
He's just in his element with that.
He can be one of those like kind of sleazy spiritual type of guys who will um kind of craft a story about having a past life connection with a woman so he can get her into bed.
He's not you know above doing that kind of a thing.
And he's the kind of guy who like maybe call himself a shaman even though he isn't.
You might know a few guys like that.
That's definitely the kind of guy he is.
Okay so a few ways to embody this card is to take an acting class or even take an art class anything where you're expressing yourself creatively or anything where you're inserting yourself into drama.
So an acting class would be a healthy way to to experience that uh even just like singing a song in the shower and just like really putting your feelings and emotions into that song.
This is Another Kind of Night of cupsy kind of thing to do.
Writing an angsty love poem.
This is another Knight of Cups activity.
Adorning yourself in like dramatic Garb like think like a thrift store fur coat and gold cowboy boots.
I didn't really talk about this much but the Knight of Cups is the most likely uh well the Knight of Wands probably does this too but the Knight of Cups is very likely to dress in kind of a a flamboyant sort of dramatic fashion and two more ways to really embody this card is to really listen to your feelings to really honor your feelings and really follow your heart when it comes to decision making.
So I have a few journaling questions for you.
First question is where in your life could you benefit from being more like this Knight and I know I really kind of emphasize some of his darker traits but this night is so good at getting in touch with his feelings going with the flow and connecting with people emotionally.
He has so many wonderful traits as well.
The other question is where would you like to be less like this night.
So maybe you recognize some of his his darker traits in yourself maybe those are things you're working on.
How can you start to express yourself more creatively.
So how can you find some sort of creative outlet for releasing and expressing your feelings and emotions and how can you Embrace this idea of flow into your life more.
So this idea of being open and allowing things to be as they are allowing things to flow to you and allowing things like being able to let go of things.
This is all this sense of of flow being able to adapt and change and go with the flow.
So that is it.
That is my deep dive into the night of Cups.

Hi I'm Kate from daily tarot girl and welcome to my deep dive into the night of swords.
So the image you see on your screen is from the universal weight Tarot and I can't wait to dive into this core card with you.
The Knight of Swords is probably the most intense and driven night in the tarot and he has a lot of fascinating traits I can't wait to get into it but first I want to mention a couple of things.
So I have a free Court card cheat sheet for you if you want to download a copy.
I'm going to put the link how to do that just below this video.
So it's interesting because we're going to be really diving deeply into each of the core cards but it can be helpful to just have a few keywords on hand when you're reading to kind of jog your memory and so that's why I created my cheat sheet for you to be a handy tool in your reading toolbox.
The other thing I want to mention is that um I'm going to post a link to the written version of this video.
So if you want to get the the journaling questions and all of that I'll put a link to that below this video.
And yeah let's let's Dive In.
So the Knight of Swords the suit of Swords corresponds to the element of air so this suit is all about the mind and how our intellect our thoughts and our beliefs uh function in our lives.
And the suit of Swords is also associated with communication.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card um the first thing I notice about this card when I look at it is that it appears to be really really windy.
And if you look at the other Knights cards you'll notice that there's not as much movement happening but there's so much movement and like this big gust of wind is blowing through the the Knight of Swords.
And I think that this shows that he's and and if you look at the direction that he's going he's going into the wind.
And this shows that he's not afraid of a challenge if anything that is what really motivates him something that's going to be really challenging.
There's a lot of fast movement on this card and this is a symbol of his speed and determination.
And you'll also notice that there's both butterflies and birds on the horses I don't know what you call it the Bridle or the the stuff that's that's hanging on the horse there's some some yellow butterflies and some red birds.
And there's also um well before I get ahead of myself I feel like the butterflies and the birds represent flight.
And then there's also a little pair of uh Silver Wings just kind of on his armor right by his knee.
And then the red plume in his hat is kind of wing like if you look at it closely it kind of looks like a pair of of wings.
And I feel like this is a symbol of taking flight moving and kind of getting a bird's eye view of things.
Now he's holding a sword and the sword itself is a symbol of Focus.
So just think of what a sword is like it's this pointy thing it's very sharp and it's that symbol of focusing on something.
And it also cuts through things.
So his sword is like cutting through things cutting through distraction cutting through confusion to really get to the heart of the matter.
There's clouds all around him and I feel like the clouds can represent uh distraction and confusion but he's he's moving through them really quickly with his sword outstretch.
So he knows how to cut through these things.
He's wearing a red cape and that red to me symbolizes a certain kind of intensity and and passion.
And I want you to also notice his body language.
So not only is he charging forward into the wind but he has his arm raised with the sword and his mouth is open in like this battle cry.
So he is ready for action he's more than ready for action.
Okay so a few key words here to keep in mind a few personality traits he is focused the night the Knight of Swords is very very focused.
He's very driven.
He can be very intense.
He sometimes has like a one track mind.
He can be very very determined.
And he doesn't hesitate to like charge into things and to charge forward.
And he is highly motivated.
He's a very talented so he can focus like no one else like he's really good at focusing.
He knows how to tune out distraction and just really get to the heart of the matter quickly.
He has a really impressive amount of energy and intensity.
And he's very fast and efficient.
So if you were to run into the Knight of Swords at a party he's either too busy with work because he can be a workaholic which we'll get into he's either too busy with work to attend the party or if he is at the party he is partying really hard like you'll find him in the back you know snorting lines of cocaine and phoning up sex workers like that's the kind of the kind of partier he is he he works hard he plays hard.
If you've ever seen the movie Wolf of Wall Street I kind of think of him as being kind of like one of those financial guys who who does a lot of recreational drugs and and is just like really wild when he's partying really kind of you know off the rails um so yeah he does this to blow off steam because he he works so hard and knows how to focus when it's his off time he tries to kind of like counteract that by blowing off steam with partying and he brings a certain brand of intensity to a party.
So if you're having like a low key tea party you might not want to invite the the Knight of Swords he would show up and you know pour Whiskey in the tea and he'd be slamming shots and and you know just behaving kind of abhorrently.
He'd bring a certain kind of intensity that you might not want at your tea party.
Uh okay so when it comes to work and career this is actually where he excels even if all other areas of his life are a mess.
So even if his relationships are falling apart maybe his finances are a mess and his friendships are a mess he will actually just like take all of his frustration and just focus completely on his work as a way to like deal with things.
So that's how he gets through difficult times um so he is a bit of a workaholic um and he is so hyper focused and driven and he really derives his sense of self from his job and from his career and this can be kind of dangerous for him.
So I remember I knew a guy who was an airline pilot and I remember him telling me that uh he loved his job so much that his job had become like a big part of his identity and he was terrified of ever losing his job because he said I don't know who I would be without that job because it was such a defining uh factor in who he felt he was.
And so that's kind of uh something that the the Knight of Swords struggles with is that he can really put a lot of his identity in the work that he does.
So in terms of like of like careers that you might find the Knight of Swords working I can kind of picture him like as a finance guy like a Wall Street guy um or even some sort of job where he's doing a lot of talking like a podcaster or a talk show host or uh a stand up comedian or even a writer who like churns out like book after book after book.
Now remember the suit of Swords is all about communication and when we were talking about the Queen of Swords I said that the Queen of Swords is really good at public speaking and writing and really getting her point across through using words and the Knight of Swords he he likes words and he likes talking he isn't necessarily as effective and Powerful as the queen because he hasn't made he hasn't attain that level of Mastery yet he's kind of like the guy who likes to hear himself talk a lot very very chatty loves to talk.
So he would be like the perfect sort of podcaster that's kind of how I I picture him.
When it comes to love and relationships oh boy you can imagine like what a disaster this guy is when it comes to love and relationships.
So he loves to pursue he loves to pursue a love interest but once he's captured someone he starts to lose interest really quickly because he just loves the thrill of the chase.
He can be very passionate and intense in bursts and then just poof disappear for days or weeks at a time and you don't hear from him.
And he can seem very impressive at first in a relationship.
So anyone who dates a Knight of Swords type might be really swept off their feet in the beginning because he can initially be very hyper focused on a partner and make them feel very special but then once he feels like he has their attention and their love then his hyper focusedness will shift from that person onto his job.
And he will become hyper focused on work and he becomes a workaholic and I almost like totally ignores his partner.
He's often absent distracted and obsessed with work and sometimes he even sees relationships as a distraction from his work.
And so for this reason he's he is more into hookups uh hiring escorts or sex workers and uh having flings as opposed to having a serious relationship.
So when it comes to money and finances the Knight of Swords is very impulsive and likes to take risks with his Investments.
He makes money and spends money very quickly so he has no trouble you know making money um but then he also spends it.
And when he spends money he likes to do it in this very intense over the top kind of way he's looking for a bit of a rush.
The Knight of Swords really is a thrill seeker uh well the last card we talked about was the Knight of Pentacles and I said you know this isn't the kind of guy who goes on the roller coaster and does anything in in an extreme way.
The Knight of uh swords is almost in some ways the polar opposite of the Knight of Pentacles uh he's looking for a rush.
And so when it comes to spending money he isn't necessarily like particularly materialistic but he's looking for a thrill.
So he might spend a ton of money on like a really fancy luxurious car just to get that rush.
And then he gets bored of it so he sells it.
And then he might spend a ton of money on taking a partner on a lavish vacation and it's all for like the the show aspect or not the show aspect but the thrill the thrill of spending a bunch of money on something kind of lavish.
So the Knight of Swords thrives on having a goal or something to focus on something to put his attention on without this he self destructs.
So think about a young child who has tons and tons of energy and you have to like give that kid something to do or that kid's just gonna start destroying your house and breaking things it's kind of like that like the Knight of Swords has so much built up energy that he needs to have a focus.
He needs to have something to direct it towards or else it can become very destructive.
He thrives on challenges and being given problems to solve.
So he loves a challenge he loves to feel like he's you know challenged in some way um he loves like working in a really fast pace way like he loves to have a lot a lot of stuff to do to be really busy and to be working in a really fast paced high stress kind of environment.
He's one of those rare people who drives under a lot of pressure and stress.
He loves cities he loves the big city life.
And he's someone who had actually thrived during wartime there's some people that experience war and they never want to talk about it again because it was so traumatic and then there's some people that experience war and they never shut up about it because it was the most exciting time in their lives that is a night of Swords type character.
He's someone who would love to be on the battlefield and and and would just thrive in that high pressure environment.
So some things that the Knight of Pentacles or Knight of Swords can't stand the Knight of Swords cannot stand having nothing to do.
He doesn't like just sitting on his Laurels doing nothing.
He also doesn't love being given tasks that just aren't that challenging.
He can't stand small town Vibes.
So this isn't the kind of guy who's going to live in a he's not going to retire to a small little town.
He doesn't like the quaint rural lifestyle at all.
He needs a big city with a lot of noise and a lot of activity and drama happening around him.
He can't stand the feeling of being like stuck in one place.
And he also doesn't love being at peace or peace time.
And he'll probably never admit this but when things are peaceful and nothing needs to be done and everything is is going really well this is really boring for him and he really can't stand this.
So let's talk about his dark side.
So the Knight of Swords can be very impulsive and he can do things like suddenly without thinking he does burn out eventually.
So he is prone to burning out and like just crashing and burning because you can't focus intensely and be hyper motivated and productive forever eventually you burn out.
Even if you are naturally the kind of person that thrives under a lot of pressure if you don't balance it out you will burn out very very quickly.
And one thing that the Knight of Pentacles or no sorry Knight of Swords one thing that the Knight of Swords um has to be careful of is that all of his efforts and hard work can be for nothing if he isn't clear on his why.
So if he isn't clear on why he's doing something and if his actions are not tied to any deeper meaning then his efforts can actually sometimes be destructive um so he can he's prone to sort of succumbing to just trying to keep busy and chasing Thrills.
And if he doesn't look deeply beneath the surface and and tie his actions into a deeper meaning he can just sort of go through life just constantly um jumping from one thrill to the next thrill and just constantly trying to keep busy and active so that he doesn't um stop and think about things.
So that is something he needs to be aware of.
So some ways that you can embody this card is setting a goal and focusing on that goal just focusing on like one thing at a time I'm blocking out all distractions.
So one thing that I like to do when I'm working at home is if I have a task to do that's important I'm like okay I'm gonna set aside one hour and I am only going to focus on this task I'm not going to answer the phone I'm not going to check email I'm not gonna hop on social media I'm not gonna make myself a coffee I'm not gonna do any other thing than this task for just this hour that is very Knight of swordsy.
Drinking lots of coffee is another way you can kind of embody this this card and I like to do something called I call it like a batch day where I will just focus on one thing for the entire day.
So sometimes I do this with cleaning my house so I'll do all my cleaning in one day from like the morning to the evening I'll just focus on doing all my cleaning tasks in one day or if I'm working on my business I'll have a day where I just make videos.
So I'll do all the prep work prior to that and then I'll have a batch day where I just make a bunch of videos um I know people do this with cooking so they'll have like one day a week where they'll cook all these things to eat throughout the week and they'll freeze things or whatever um but but just focusing on one thing for an entire day and getting a whole bunch of stuff done is one really great way that you can embody the the energy of the Knight of Swords.
So I have some journaling questions for you how or where can you benefit from these traits of the Knight of Swords that we talked about how can you bring more balance and avoid burnout.
Now remember I'm gonna post these questions below this video and you can also find them on my blog I'll put a link to that below the video the other question is where would you like to be less like this night and I'm really interested in hearing your comments.
So let me know in the comments below like did you find it easy to relate to this night or did you can you think of other people who you're like oh yeah that's my brother or uh you know that's my co worker or whatever um and uh so where would you like to be less like this night or where would you like to be more like this night in your life what helps you focus and avoid distractions and last but not least who do you know that is like this night.
So I would love to hear your answers in the comments section um and I just want to close this video by saying thank you so much for joining me I hope you learned some new things about the Knight of Swords um please feel free to like And subscribe to my channel next I'm going to be posting my video on the night of Cups and he is a really fascinating character as well so I can't wait for that video and don't forget to download your Court card cheat sheet I'll put the link below to how you can grab that so thank you again for watching and I'll see you next time.

Hi this is Kate from daily tarot girl and welcome to today's deep dive into the night of Pentacles.
So I'm doing a series on the court cards right now and we just finished diving into all Four Queens and now we're gonna move on to the knights.
So the knights are super exciting.
The nights are all about action.
There's a lot of energy behind the nights the knights love Adventure moving forward experiencing things taking action getting things done.
So they're a very active very exciting very Dynamic group of characters to dive into.
So a couple things I want to mention before we dive into the Knight of Pentacles.
Is I have created a free Court card cheat sheet for you.
So if you want your coffee I'm gonna put the info the link down below to how you can get your free copy.
But it's always nice to have a cheat sheet on hand when you're doing readings especially for the court cards.
So the other thing I want to mention is uh if you want to see the written version of this video I'm also going to put the link to that um down below.
So I always do a blog post version of these Deep dive videos.
So if you want to see what it looks like written and just kind of skim and look at certain things um I'm going to put the link to where you can find that.
I'm also going to be giving you some journaling questions in today's video and you can find those uh down below this video and also on my blog.
Uh the other thing I want to mention is the image that you will see on your screen of the Knight of Pentacles tarot card is from the universal weight Tarot deck.
All right are you ready.
Buckle up because this is going to be a fun ride.
Okay so let's dive into the Knight of Pentacles.
So the suit of Pentacles corresponds to the element of Earth.
So the suit of Pentacles is very earthy.
This is a very uh physical suit.
And the suit of Pentacles is all about the kind of Physical Realm.
So your body your health money uh material Goods your home all of that physical stuff that all falls under the realm of the suit of Pentacles.
And this is kind of the key to understanding the court cards is to understand the four suits and how each Court card um kind of uh represents the energy of that of their particular suit.
So a few symbols to pay attention to on this card um the first symbol which is really obvious is the pentacle that he's that he's holding out in front of him.
So as I said the pentacle represents money body Earth the material Realm.
And then we see the color red uh kind of all over this card.
And the color red has to do with blood the Earth.
It corresponds to the first chakra the sacral chakra which is related to survival and feeling safe.
And this is something to remember about the Knight of Pentacles is that he needs to feel safe before he moves forward.
He's also riding a black horse.
And the color black is a very protective a very um uh psychologically protective color.
It's associated with protection.
And the Knight of Pentacles can also be a bit of a Dark Horse.
He can sometimes surprise you.
There is a plume of green in his helmet and also on his horse.
And that plume of green green represents nature and growth and life.
And the Knight of Pentacles very much loves the outdoors and nature being from the suit of Pentacles.
And this card you'll also notice especially if you compare this card with the other three nights you'll notice that the Knight of Pentacles is the only night that is standing still.
The other nights are moving forward in some way.
Like the Knight of Swords is charging forward but the other nights are also kind of Galloping forward whereas the Knight of Pentacles is just still.
He's not actually moving.
So this kind of makes him stand out from the other nights he is the slowest moving Knight of the bunch.
And he is prone to procrastination.
And he can be a bit of a stick in the mud which we'll get into in a minute.
Um so I want to give you some keywords and personality traits for the Knight of Pentacles.
So he is very stable.
He's slow and steady.
He's also super cautious and patient.
He's different from the other nights because the other nights are very much uh Adventure seeking and they like a lot of action whereas the Knight of Pentacles he he really values predictability and stability.
And he's just very cautious.
He's not uh um what do you call that impulsive.
So he is very sensible.
And he's realistic.
He doesn't have you know Pie in the Sky dreams or anything.
He's super realistic.
He's very risk averse.
And he avoids Thrills.
So this isn't the kind of guy who likes roller coasters and going on thrilling adventures in the jungle you know.
This he's the exact opposite.
He's kind of a homebody.
He can be a little bit of a procrastinator.
And he's prone to stagnate.
And he can kind of fall into stagnation really easily.
He can be indecisive and stubborn.
Now if you know anything about astrology think of the sign of Taurus.
So just think of a Taurus.
I always associate Taurus with the with the Knight of of Pentacles.
He's really good at many things.
So he has many talents.
He's very good at slowing down.
He's so patient and sensible.
And he knows how to play the long game.
So this is something many of us aren't able to do.
Many of us have a hard time slowing down.
But the Knight of Pentacles is really good at this.
He's good at being patient and taking things slow and thinking things through and just really biting his time.
He's not in a big rush.
He avoids impulsivity and making rash decisions.
My cat wants wants my attention.
Um the Knight of Pentacles likes to think things through.
He does his research.
And he's really good at timing things.
What you see is what you get with the Knight of Pentacles.
He's a very practical salt of the earth type of guy.
He isn't going to be putting on airs or trying to make you think that he's different than he is.
He doesn't wear a mask.
He's just you know what you see is what you get.
And he can be very protective and guarded.
He can be very protective of himself um but also his family and friends and his private life.
Now if you were to meet the Knight of Pentacles at a party he'd be The Quiet One in the corner.
He's kind of like a cat like he likes to sit back in the corner but then look out over the room and just really observe the interactions going on.
He might leave early.
And he doesn't really like parties.
And he'll tell you that he doesn't like them because they're boring and it's just not his thing.
But the truth is that parties are just too much for him.
He can't handle all the all the stimulation.
They're almost like too much.
They're just too exciting for him.
He prefers to hang out with just one or two friends or best of all his loyal pets.
He's a little bit dull to talk to.
So if you meet him at a party and you you're having a conversation um he rarely does or says anything shocking or exciting.
But he's very nice.
He's polite.
He's not bad at conversation.
He's just not the most exciting person in the room.
He loves to eat.
So you might notice him at the snack table scarfing down treats and snacks.
He loves food.
And this is because he is the Knight of Pentacles and Pentacles is the physical suit.
And Court cards from this suit love physical Comforts and physical things particularly good food.
So at work and in the realm of career the night of Pentacles really values stability more than anything else.
He really values stability predictability and routine in a job.
She probably won't have a super exciting career but he'll most likely have the same job for many years at a time.
He's not really driven or a ladder climber.
So this isn't the kind of guy who's you know trying to get to the top or be the CEO or whatever.
He's just not driven in that way.
But he's very loyal.
And he's very Duty bound.
Um and this applies to both like friends and family but also career and work.
He tends not to be self employed because that's too risky.
And there's too many like unpredictable ups and downs with self employment.
He likes to have like really regular uh predictable employment.
He's very hard working.
But he isn't necessarily an ingenious thinker or a super creative character.
He can be creative sometimes.
And he can have really great ideas sometimes.
But those aren't really the things that define him.
He tends to be more just very hard working and dependable.
He has lots of stamina.
He can work long hours.
And he's okay with doing like really difficult physical tasks.
He can also handle like really boring and repetitive tasks um.
He may not be the fastest worker.
But he can handle sort of repetition and boring stuff where the other Knights can't handle that.
The other nights need excitement and stimulation.
But the Knight of Pentacles can actually in some ways sort of thrive in a job where there's like it's really boring and predictable and there's like a lot of repetition.
Okay so let's have a look at my other.
Bear with me while I while I switch out my other note sheet um.
So when it comes to love and relationships the Knight of Pentacles is no romantic.
So he is not a super romantic guy.
But he's very very loyal and trustworthy.
And he can be very physically affectionate like he's a real hugger.
Now as I'm going through this and saying all these things about the Knight of Pentacles I want you to think if you know anyone like this.
It could be a friend or family member or someone that you work with.
But who do you know who's like the Knight of Pentacles.
He values commitment in a relationship.
And so this kind of makes him the marrying type.
He can become very complacent in a relationship though letting his partner do all the work to keep things moving along.
He can really get stuck in a in a rut.
And things can get really stale and boring in his relationships not necessarily for him but for the other person.
His Partners will always be trying to add variety and mix things up.
And I'm not just talking about sex or in the bedroom.
I mean like the night of Pentacles is totally content to just stay at home every night and read or watch TV or cook.
And so his Partners may be like come on let's go out let's do something let's try something different for a change.
He's a real homebody.
And he's not super super social.
And so if he's partnered with someone who needs you know socializing and needs to get out and stuff like that that can kind of create a bit of conflict.
He really drags his heels at a lot of things whenever it comes to moving forward in the relationship.
So things like saying I love you for the first time moving in together getting married having children or whatever whatever those Milestones might be.
He really drags his heels because he needs to be 100 percent sure before moving forward in a relationship that this is the right person for him.
And this can really ruffle some feathers and cause quite a bit of tension in his relationships.
Okay so when it comes to money and finances the Knight of Pentacles is really good at saving money.
He's good at saving.
And he's very careful when it comes to spending.
So he's not a big spender.
He doesn't buy splashy things.
And what might surprise you about the Knight of Pentacles is that he actually isn't all that materialistic.
And that might be surprising because he's from the suit of Pentacles and Pentacles is all about the material Realm.
She really appreciates comfort and good food.
And he appreciates having money and the kind of the feeling of stability that that provides.
But um he's not he's not materialistic like he he just values other things more like he really values family and connections and against being stable being grounded like these are the things he values.
But he's not like chasing the dollar.
He always has a steady income.
But rarely a high income.
And he never takes risks with his money.
So some things that he thrives on of course security routine predictability and comfort.
He thrives on feeling like he has all the answers.
And this can actually make him come across as a little bit of a know it all.
But we'll get to that when we talk about his dark side.
So um he thrives on an environment that is tranquil and calm and peaceful.
He likes it when there's really no rush.
And when no big demands are being placed on him.
He thrives on having a specific and achievable goal to work towards.
Otherwise without this he can be a little bit of a loafer.
He can kind of loaf around and get kind of lazy if he doesn't have a project or a goal to work towards.
He can't stand unpredictability change chaos drama and high stakes.
These things really stress him out.
He also can't stand feeling up in the air about something or being forced to make a decision or move forward when he isn't ready yet.
And this can be hard because sometimes he's never ready.
Like he likes to take his time to think things through do his research kind of test the playing field before he gets out there.
And sometimes this can take forever with the with the Knight of Pentacles.
He can't stand feeling like he's not in control of things or feeling like he's being forced or pressured in any way.
So his main challenge really is that he wants to move forward and he craves a sense of progress yet he also fears change and kind of wants to cling to comfort and stability.
So that's the big conundrum with the with the Knight of Pentacles.
So let's dive into his dark side.
So the bad side of the Knight of Pentacles is dark side is that sometimes he can be almost incapable of moving forward of his own accord.
So he can really stagnate easily.
And sometimes it like if he feels comfortable he's not going to change anything.
And so sometimes it takes a tower moment like some big shift or event that kind of forces him to move forward because as long as he's comfy he's not going to make any changes.
He tends to freeze up if he feels unsure or unsafe.
And he can be a bit of a know it all as I mentioned earlier.
And this is kind of his way of self soothing.
And so if you're having a conversation with a with a knight of Pentacles type and he starts to come across as being really sure of himself and kind of a know it all this is actually how he soothes himself.
He doesn't necessarily believe that he has all the answers.
But he likes to kind of convince himself that he does because it makes him feel more uh I guess more self assured and more stable.
He can be a little bit close minded.
So if you run into a knight of Pentacles type at a party and you know you're not going to want to like share your UFO Abduction story with him like he's not going to be into that.
He's very close minded because he's so down to earth and practical.
This also sometimes makes him a little too down to earth and practical and not open to spiritual Concepts or things that can't be explained in a physical logical way.
Know reflexively so if you ask him hey do you want to go do this he'll be like no like that's his like default response to everything is no.
Remember this this is dark side not every Knight of Pentacles is like this all the time but this is kind of a dark trait that can sometimes come out.
Applause um and he can be a little bit boring.
Knight of Pentacles is a nice guy.
He's a stable guy uh there's so many wonderful things about the Knight of Pentacles.
He's very grounded earthy practical kind.
He loves animals.
He loves nature.
He's Dependable.
He's loyal.
But he isn't the most exciting Knight.
He can be a little bit boring at times.
So some ways to embody this card is to create some sort of routine or make a to do list.
This is this is something that the Knight of Pentacles would really approve of.
So creating a routine staying home tonight just staying home and having a quiet night in.
This is one way to really embody this card.
Giving yourself time to think things through and slowing down.
Often when the Knight of Pentacles comes up in a reading depends you know where he comes up or what you're reading about but often when the Knight of Pentacles comes up it's to encourage you to slow down to say there's no rush here take your time think things through feel things out and just slow down.
So a few journaling questions that I have for you.
Where in your life can you benefit from slowing down or taking more time to think things through.
And remember I'm gonna put these questions just under this video.
I'll pin it as a comment.
And you can also find these questions on my my blog post on this on this card.
How can you cultivate a slow and steady approach to a project or a goal or a life area.
How can you create a feeling of safety and comfort for yourself as you move forward and make changes.
And this is a really important one I think so.
How can you kind of mitigate that kind of frightening feeling when it comes to making changes and moving forward in life.
How can you create a feeling of safety and containment.
Where in your life are you like this night so how did you how can you relate to this night I'd love it if you shared in the comments below all the ways that you connect with this night and kind of relate to him or maybe someone you know who is very much like him.
And where would you like to be less like him in your life.
I tend to relate to the Knight of Pentacles in that I don't love change either.
It kind of stresses me out.
I love routine and some predictability.
And sometimes that kind of holds me back a little bit.
So that's one way I would like to be a little bit less like him um.
But where in your life would you like to be more like him.
Let me know in the in the comments below.
So I just want to say thank you so much for joining me.
I hope you learned something new about the Knight of Pentacles.
Let me know what you thought in the comments.

Hi I'm Kate from daily tarot girl and I'm so excited to dive into the Queen of Wands with you in this video.
So this video is part of my court card Deep dive Series where each video I dive deeply into one of the core cards.
So before we dive into today's video uh I have a free gift for you.
So I have made a court card cheat sheet I'll give you a little peek of what it looks like.
So this is my court card cheat sheet and while we're diving really deeply into the core cards it's also nice to have kind of the quick and dirty version to print out and just have at your side when you're doing reading.
So you have something to kind of jog your memory.
So if you want my court card cheat sheet I'm going to put the link below to how you can how you can grab a copy all right.
So the card that you see on your screen is from the universal weight tarot and I'm sitting by the fireplace for this video.
I thought that would be really appropriate for talking about the Queen of Wands because she is very fiery and passionate.
So the Queen of Wands is the queen of the suit of Wands and the suit of Wands corresponds to the element of fire and think about how fire acts you know you can use fire to cook your food and to to warm yourself or fire can also be raging and destructive.
So um the suit of Wands represents like passion action creativity um let me look at my notes Here passion action and energy.
So a few key words and personality traits of the Queen of Wands is that she is very energetic and alive.
This is the kind of person where you meet and she just has that shine in her eyes.
She's just glowing from the inside out.
She's alive she's passionate she's fiery she's very energized.
She has that spiritual spark.
She's very creative.
She's action oriented.
Um so there's some people out there who are very creative and very spiritual um but they don't they can't really get their together and get things done whereas the Queen of Wands is unique in that she is a very creative she's very spiritual and she's also organized and action oriented and she knows how to get things done.
She's also very passionate and intense.
So she's the kind of person who she doesn't do anything unless she's passionate about it.
She's very inspired.
She's really good at taking inspired action towards things.
She is an outside the box thinker.
She's very eccentric.
She has an entrepreneurial spirit and she is a visionary.
She doesn't really care what other people think of her and I think that this might actually be my favorite thing about the Queen of Wands.
She's super independent.
She's bold.
She's Brave and she's adventurous.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card the first symbol which is um in some ways kind of one of the most important ones is the wand itself.
So the staff that she is holding now that represents the ability to direct her energy and willpower.
So just think of like holding a magic wand it's that ability to direct her energy and will and that's what this queen is really good at.
There are the Lions heads on either side of her throne and then there's Lions on the back part of her throne as well and lions are very powerful very Regal and Majestic and those are all things that are associated with the Queen of Wands.
There's also the little black cat at the front of this card and cats are very graceful they're very elegant and they're very mysterious and a black cat especially can be seen as like a witch's familiar which gives this queen kind of a witchy Vibe and this queen is definitely a Witchy Woman.
There's also sunflowers on this card there's there's I think three sunflowers on this card and the sunflowers are this sort of um I think of them as being this like extroverted kind of flower they're you know they're flowering they're in bloom they have this bright shiny uplifting kind of energy to them and they really respond to the sun's attention all flowers and plants respond to the Sun but the sunflower especially kind of opens up and expands in the light of the Sun and in that way this makes me think of how the Queen of Wands responds to attention.
So just like the sunflower opens up and blooms under the sun's attention the Queen of Wands will open up and Bloom and really shine in her best way when she has attention from others.
She loves attention.
There's two main colors on this card yellow and orange and yellow corresponds with the third chakra which is the solar plexus chakra and that chakra is associated with your will in the world and your ability to direct your willpower.
The color orange corresponds with the second chakra which is the sacral chakra which is kind of your your lower belly area and it's associated with creativity.
So those two things will power and creativity really make up the backbone of the Queen of Wands and again she's one of those people who's Super Creative eccentric kind of out there but she also knows how to make things happen and get done.
In the background of this card there's pyramids and pyramids are a symbol of ancient power and mystery as well as energy Direction and alignment with the Stars.
So it's thought that the pyramids were used to Direct Energy whether you're directing it upwards or bringing energy in and they're all the pyramids are also built in a certain way that they align with certain star systems.
I don't know much about this but I just think that that's a really interesting tidbit and I have so much to say about that because the Queen of Wands is really good with alignment.
She she's good at taking action but she's even better at understanding how things line up.
So she's not just about being busy and taking action Here There and Everywhere.
She knows how to be in alignment and how to take action at the right time period and like the pyramids she's really good at directing her energy and she does have this kind of mysterious Aura to her.
So both the pyramids and the cat are kind of symbols of mystery and the Queen of Wands it can be very mysterious when she wants to be and then there's uh also the leaves that are on the wand and her crown and these symbolize new growth and aliveness.
So some things that the Queen of Wands is really good at she knows how to tap into her creativity and passions and take action and make things happen.
This is where she really shines.
She's really good at exploring the unusual side of things and coming up with Creative Solutions.
She is a true Visionary who is highly creative and she's also very spiritually connected but she doesn't really she wouldn't describe herself as spiritual.
She wouldn't call herself a spiritual person like she wouldn't have a spiritual books or quotes around her home.
She probably doesn't do yoga or meditation but yet she's a very spiritual person.
She has this real mystical quality sorry I just heard a weird noise and I think it's my cat doing something weird um she has this like mystical quality and she's one of those people who's just like naturally spiritually connected Without Really Trying to be.
So that's why she doesn't really like identify as a spiritual person.
The Queen of Wands is a real Entertainer and she knows how to grab people's attention and hold it.
And this is a really rare quality.
There's lots of people that want attention but they're not very good at holding people's attention they're not that interesting whereas the Queen of Wands she does crave attention.
That's where she really blossoms is when when she's getting attention um but she knows how to grab people's attention and actually really hold it.
So at a party the Queen of Wands is the life of the party and in fact a party isn't a party without the Queen of Wands.
A party without the Queen of Wands is just simply a gathering.
You will often find the Queen of Wands in the center of a large group being kind of the center of attention.
She'll be regaling everyone with her stories.
She's a master Storyteller.
She's highly entertaining and she has this electric sense of humor.
She really like lights up a room.
She knows how to draw people in and have them just like hang on her every word and she's especially talented at hosting parties.
So she knows how to keep the champagne flowing you know keep the music going and um really kind of keep the energy of the party High.
When it comes to love and romance she doesn't exactly excel in this area.
So she gets bored easily.
So she usually ends up having a lot of kind of short lived passionate affairs.
She seeks passion excitement and fire in her romantic relationships and so because of this she tends to kind of lose interest as soon as that initial romantic spark begins to fade which it inevitably does in all relationships.
So she's more into those like passionate flings and really exciting Affairs as opposed to long term relationships.
It does settle down though it will be with someone who is kind of conventional and boring.
So kind of her opposite um someone who will like really Let Her Shine and be the star she can't really handle being with someone as bold and bright as she is for any length of time.
Her relationships or her relationship will rarely be her focused because her career and her artistic Journey always come first.
So even if she does have a good relationship she's probably not going to make that the number one thing in her life because she has other priorities.
She hates the idea of being trapped and so because of this she kind of shuns the idea of conventional marriage or the the institution of marriage.
She gains a ton of inspiration and energy though from her brief yet passionate Affairs.
So most people might feel drained by having a lot of brief Affairs and a lot of people would find that a big distraction for them um but not the Queen of Wands.
That's how she gets her energy.
That's what she thrives on.
She feeds on that passionate energy of an affair and then she directs that energy into her creative Pursuits and her work.
It CR it fuels her creative fire all right.
So let's move on to my second sheet here.
So when it comes to finances and money the Queen of Wands is really good at making lots of money but she's equally good at spending lots of money and she usually spends her money on silly stuff like really expensive crystals um you know overpriced spiritual retreats uh shoes like designer shoes and fancy makeup.
She's very fashion forward.
She's the most fashion forward of all the queens and she does spend a lot of money on her hair her nails her makeup her her clothes.
But despite her Reckless spending she always manages to bounce back.
So she never really Hoards money and she usually completely forgets to save money but making money is just so darn easy for the Queen of Wands that she she has absolutely no blocks whatsoever to making money.
She's really comfortable with charging for what she's worth.
She's very comfortable negotiating contracts and and demanding High sums of money for her talents.
She has no problem doing that.
She isn't really materialistic though um so like making money feels really fun to her and spending money it's also fun but it also feels just kind of like mundane like easy come easy go like it's almost as mundane as like sneezing to her.
When it comes to work and career she is a natural Problem Solver.
She's a really creative thinker and uh she's a wonderful Entertainer.
So any profession where she can be creative and expressive is best for her and she often gravitates to the unconventional kind of unusual professions and her independent Street makes a really good candidate for either self employment or freelance freelance work.
You won't really find her having like a conventional sort of steady run of the mill type job if the Queen of Wands isn't a job like that she will feel very frustrated and um not very happy.
She is the perfect entrepreneur and she really doesn't want to be tied down or beholden to anyone which is why freelance and self employment really work for her.
She makes a wonderful actress artist or performer of any kind.
She's also a really good event planner.
So she really shines like doing like um party planning event planning creating amazing festivals concerts and Retreats.
She's the kind of woman who uh really gets these like wild out there ideas that other people may kind of raise an eyebrow at but they actually usually end up panning out for the Queen of Wands.
She's kind of like that sort of hippy dippy artist slash Mystic who really has her together and gets things done and really knows how to make things happen in a big way.
She longs to get out there and do daring new things and bust stereotypes and expectations.
So in order to thrive these are these are the things that make the Queen of Wands thrive being on stage in front of an audience.
This queen just lights up and flowers when she's you know in front of an audience.
She loves to be challenged both creatively and spiritually and she loves environments that are full of open minded people and few rules and regulations.
She feels very much at home when she's like at a festival or a party or some kind of event.
She's very extroverted.
So when it comes to things she doesn't like she can't stand too many rules or regulations or institutions and she can't stand you know the man.
She really doesn't like being labeled or put in a box.
She also doesn't like feeling over committed or burdened in any way and she does not enjoy caregiving.
She doesn't want to be in a caregiving role motherhood isn't really her thing.
So she will either forego this all together and instead focus on her career or her artistic Pursuits or if she does end up becoming a mother she will quite often pass off most of the responsibilities of motherhood to another family member or a nanny uh or like if you end up marrying say the Queen of Wands unlikely but it could happen um the Queen of Wands will choose a partner who is like this sort of maybe kind of boring sort of conventional safe partner who will be very responsible and they will do most of the parenting while the Queen of Wands goes off and and kind of does her own thing.
Ones can't stand feeling stagnant or uninspired or stuck in any way and she also hates groupthink and herd mentality.
Those two things just like totally disgust her.
So let's talk about her dark side.
So when it comes to the Queen of Wands dark side she can be a little bit of an attention who needs like a really high level of excitement in order to feel inspired and energetic.
She has a tendency to be narcissistic and self centered with a penchant for getting high on her own Supply.
So that is kind of her worst quality is she can be kind of narcissistic and a bit of an attention seeker.
She may try really hard to get people's attention and she may even um kind of uh be controversial just for the sake of being controversial and just to kind of stir the pot because she really thrives on attention.
She might discard someone like there's like their yesterday's trash if they fail to worship her adequately and lavish her with enough adulation.
So she likes to surround herself with people who uh encourage her and Inspire her and worship her and if someone isn't worshipful enough she has a tendency to kind of freeze them out a little bit.
Remember this is the dark side this is not necessarily what every Queen of Wands type character would do but this is just the the dark side of this card.
So some practices to embody the Queen of Wands performing in front of an audience is one sort of queen of wandsy activity and for some reason in my notes I've written drag King and I can't remember specifically why I wrote that in my notes but I think I was thinking that the Queen of Wands is kind of the ultimate drag King because the Queen of Wands loves to be unconventional and to be really entertaining and out there in kind of a different sort of way.
So she would make a good drag King um so another practice to embody this card is paint a mural on your bedroom wall or your bathroom wall or your living room wall do something unconventional.
Throw a themed costume party for your friends.
The Queen of Wands loves throwing parties.
Go clothes shopping at the thrift store.
Write a zany stage play and cast your friends as the main characters.
These are all things that the Queen of Wands would approve of.
So some journaling questions for you what part of the Queen of Wands do you most relate to and if you want to share any of any of these answers in the comments below please feel free um so what parts of this queen do you most relate to.

Hi I'm Kate from daily tarot girl and welcome to my tarot meanings Deep dive video on the queen of Cups.
We are going to really be exploring the queen of cups in this video and I can't wait to share it with you.
But first before we dive in I have a free gift for you.
It's my tarot Court card cheat sheet.
Now in this tarot meetings Deep dive series on the court cards we're gonna be diving deeply and spending a lot of time on each card but it's kind of nice to have a quick and handy cheat sheet when you're doing readings.
If you just need something to kind of jog your memory or spark your your creativity or your imagination so if you want a copy of my cheat sheet that I made I'm gonna put the link right below this video.
Okay so let's dive in to the queen of Cups.
And like I said this is a series so each week or every couple weeks I'm gonna dive into one Court card.
So make sure you hit the Subscribe button if you want to be notified when I post my next video.
So the queen of cups is a fascinating card.
And what's Most Fascinating about the queen of cups is actually her dark side.
Now we're not gonna get to her Dark Side till later on in the video but I just kind of wanted to tease that.
Because so far we've done the Queen of Pentacles and the Queen of Swords.
And the queen of cups is kind of different from them in that she has so many wonderful qualities yet her dark side is quite dark.
So I can't wait to to get to that.
Okay so the queen of Cups she is the queen of the suit of Cups.
And the suit of Cups corresponds to the element of water.
And I want you to just think for a minute about how water behaves.
All the different ways that water can behave it can be frozen it can be stagnant it can be calm like a calm lake.
It can be raging like a storm or a tsunami or rushing like a river.
There's so many different ways that water can be restorative and healing but also destructive.
And water is a symbol for the emotions and the emotional realm.
And this queen has I don't want to say that she's mastered the emotional realm but she's very comfortable in the emotional realm.
She knows how to work with her emotions and how to work with the emotions of others.
All right so let me give you a few key words and personality traits that are associated with the queen of cups.
Oh and I should be telling you sorry the card that you see on your screen from the universal weight Tarot deck.
So this queen has a lot of emotional intelligence.
She's very intuitive.
She's empathic.
She's very empathetic.
And she's very sensitive emotionally and perhaps like intuitively sensitive as well.
She's very much in touch with her emotions and she's really good at holding a space for others especially people who are feeling very emotionally Intense or upset.
She's really good at just holding a space and just being really compassionate.
She's very calm.
And she's receptive.
And she's a very deep individual.
She's also very much centered in her heart.
And I also associate her with like healing and creativity.
Healing and creativity are two sort of themes with the the queen of Cups.
These are two things that she is really good at.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card number one is the symbol of water which of course represents the emotional realm feelings and emotions.
And then there's the weird bizarre cup that she's holding.
And to me holding that cup is like it represents sort of holding a space.
If you think about a cup a cup is like a receptacle.
Um a cup in itself is is a symbol of holding a space and that's what this queen is really good at.
She's sitting on a throne.
And that Throne itself is a symbol.
It shows that she is a queen meaning she's attained a certain level of experience and and Mastery in the realm of feeling emotion and intuition.
There's fish and mermaids on this card.
And these are creatures who can dive deep below the surface and survive in the watery realms.
There's also a shell clasp on her on her cape.
And there's a shell on the back of the throne.
And this shell to me is a symbol showing that she knows how to penetrate the hard outer shell to get to the oikui center.
All right so some talents some things that this queen of cups is really really good at she is a good listener.
And she would make a really great counselor.
She's really good again at like just holding a space.
And she can actually help others just by being present.
She doesn't even have to say anything or do anything.
Just by holding that space and being receptive and listening she can really help other people.
She's also good at helping others tap into their emotions and their intuition.
A lot of people have trouble with this.
And the queen of Cups has this way of making it not scary and making it feel gentle and easy and natural for other people.
She knows how to work with the emotions.
So she knows how to process her emotions.
She knows how to really tap into their power and how to use them for healing.
She's really good at honoring her feelings and her intuition.
Again this is something that a lot of people struggle with.
They may have deep feelings and deep intuitions about things but they don't value them or honor them.
They may push them to the side or try to override them.
But the queen of Cups knows how not to do that.
And she is really good at just like really emanating calmness wherever she is.
If you run into her at a party you'll find her sitting in a corner probably consoling someone who just broke up with their boyfriend.
She's more of a listener than a talker.
And her calm demeanor often draws people in.
Uh and especially people who really feel the need to unload a lot of baggage.
She tends to attract those kinds of people.
And if you are someone who is like the queen of cups if you if you're very empathetic and compassionate and calm you may notice this too.
That you'll be out in a public place and strangers will you know come up to you and and tell you personal things about their lives.
And start unloading their troubles and and problems and telling you all about it.
So complete strangers love opening up to her and telling her all about their problems.
And she kind of loves this a little bit.
She might complain about it and say it's exhausting.
Um but she secretly kind of likes it.
Because she's not a fan of small talk.
So the deeper a conversation goes the better for her.
And she considers that deep conversation hearing about other people's problems.
Other cards you know like the Queen of Swords would not consider that deep conversation.
But the queen cups does.
So when the queen of cups is in love she loves romance.
She is in love with love.
And having a really deep emotional connection with someone special is very very important to her.
Sharing feelings in a relationship is her top priority.
And what's interesting and what's kind of ironic is she tends to attract Partners who are cut off from their emotions and really struggle with sharing openly.
This is really intriguing to me about the queen of Cups.
Because while she is really good at at you know feeling her feelings and expressing her feelings and communicating she tends to be drawn to people who are the opposite.
And people who are the opposite are drawn to her as well.
She loves the challenge of penetrating their defensive outer shell to get to that ooey gooey vulnerable Center.
Lots of healing tends to take place in her relationships.
And she sees sex as a healing act where emotional connection is really important.
She often finds herself stuck in the role of healer or always being the one who is emotionally proficient while her Partners tend to struggle with emotional disconnection.
So this is a challenge for her is that in relationships she often finds herself getting kind of stuck in that role of healer.
Okay let me look at my next sheet.
I have a lot of notes for the queen of cups.
This I've got actually three sheets of notes.
Normally I have normally I just have one or two but for this card I have have a lot of a lot of info about her.
Okay so when it comes to work and career whatever profession she chooses she needs to feel a certain sense of creative freedom.
And to feel like she's really diving deep and not just scratching the surface with something.
So she would make a really great counselor or therapist.
She would be a great mediator or any kind of healer.
An intuitive reader or intuitive healer.
And she also makes a really great teacher.
Because she has this really calm demeanor and and she's good at teaching.
Basically any job where she's in a job where she is helping people get in touch with their emotional side.
So even something like an acting coach or a Drama teacher would be well suited for her.
When it comes to money she isn't really that materialistic.
And she's not all that interested in money.
And her business senses are not that great.
So she needs a little bit of help and guidance in this area.
So you can almost imagine the queen of Cups being someone who has enormous potential and a lot of gifts to share with others.
But she's not great at figuring out you know how much to charge or how to find clients or how to get the word out there or how to manage the money once it's coming in.
So she needs a little bit of help in that area.
So her finances can be a little bit of a mess unless she gets assistance from someone who is more proficient in this area like the Queen of Swords or even the Queen of Pentacles.
With the right kind of support and guidance though she knows how to manifest money out of thin air.
She's really good at manifesting especially if her emotions and feelings are aligned with her actions and her intentions and her goals.
So that is her superpower.
If she can get her emotions aligned with whatever it is she's trying to do then you know she's a real powerhouse.
So in order to thrive the queen of Cups loves going into tumultuous and emotionally messy situations and creating calmness and healing.
So the thought of going into a workplace that's very toxic and there's all kinds of infighting happening this is kind of the queen of Cups dream in a way.
She loves she loves putting herself in the center of those kinds of situations.
But then creating calmness and harmony.
She gets kind of bored if everything is perfect and calm all the time.
She needs a bit of drama in her life in order to feel useful and in order to give her something to do.
She loves being around people who want to dive deep beneath the surface of things and explore the depths of their experience and the depths of life.
And deep conversations that lead to emotional healing are totally her thing.
So this is why she would make a fantastic counselor or therapist.
Oops my note sheet just fell down.
Okay so um a few things that the queen of Cups really really dislikes.
So she hates constant busyness and hectic activity.
She loves having the time and the space to get in touch with her own feelings.
And she doesn't like to feel busy or rushed.
Tasks that are repetitive and dull tend to really sap her energy.
Um and same with like shallow materialistic people who just want to engage in small talk all day long.
These are all things that she can't stand.
She hates having to think about money and having to get organized around that.
And she really doesn't like spending too much time tending to physical needs.
So things like cooking vacuuming getting her car fixed stuff like that is just really uninspiring for her.
And if too much of her day is taken up with things like that she becomes really grouchy and really cranky really fast.
Okay so we're finally at the part in this video where we can dive in and explore her dark side.
So again I want to reiterate the queen of Cups has so many wonderful wonderful qualities.
But she can be emotionally manipulative.
She's kind of addicted to others emotional displays.
When others lose control emotionally she actually feels more powerful and More in control herself.
So when she's in the presence of someone who's having an emotional breakdown she actually feels this sense of stability.
If she can be that rock that actually helps her feel more calm and More in control and more powerful.
So the dark side of the Queen of Pentacles is that she can kind of get addicted to those situations.
And this might cause her to enjoy kind of stirring the pot and trying to whip others up into an emotional frenzy.
So that she can swoop in and calm the waters.
She knows how to push people's buttons because she's very emotionally intelligent.
And she's very tapped in and tuned into other people's feelings and emotional states.
So she knows exactly how to push their buttons.
And her healing gifts can actually be used as Weapons if she isn't careful.
And she may not always be aware that she's doing this.
So she might be somewhat oblivious to doing this.
It can be kind of like an unconscious sort of pattern with her.
Now I want to take a step back and say that these things aren't usually things that I would think of or say when the queen of Cups comes up in a reading.
I might say it if this card was paired with a card like the devil or something like that.
Um or ten of Swords.
But typically I wouldn't think of these things when I think of the queen of Cups.
This is what happens when the wonderful beautiful qualities of the queen of Cups gets twisted and warped and subvert subverted.
All right so on the darker side of her dark side she may even view other people's willingness to open up to her as a source of power.
Leading her to like collect Secrets like their trophies.
And using her position of trust in a destructive and abusive way.
Now what's interesting is as I was making the notes up for this card for this video I was watching two different shows that were kind of similar.
So I was watching this one show called the shrink next door which is also a podcast.
And it's about this guy who goes to this therapist for therapy.
And uh this therapist is incredibly manipulative and controlling.
And he manages to um kind of insidiously sort of get into this guy's psyche and into his life.
And he kind of starts controlling him in the same way that like a cult leader might control someone.
Um and I was also watching a documentary series called The Vow which is about this group that really kind of spirals out of control.
And when I was watching the Val they're interviewing different people in that group.
And you could tell that some of them you know if they weren't in a cult they might be wonderful counselors or therapists or wonderful people doing great things.
But they got in this cult and it really like warped them and and twisted those good qualities.
Um to to be you know kind of destructive.
Um so I thought it was interesting that I was watching those two shows at the same time that I was making my notes up for the for the queen of cups.
Uh okay so I want to share a little personal story here.
So uh and the story just kind of illustrates how those warm fuzzy qualities of the queen of Cups can feel manipulative sometimes.
So um years ago like at least 10 years ago I was in a group therapy thing.
And we were all sitting in a circle.
And there was one counselor who was kind of facilitating the group.
And we were going around the group sharing things.
And I started to notice as each person would open up and share I started to notice that the counselor in the group seem to be trying to get people to cry.
And to to really like give up this emotional display.
And when it got to my turn I didn't cry.
And I didn't really break down.
And I could tell that this really bothered the counselor.
And I noticed her saying things and doing things to try to kind of manipulate me into crying.
She wanted to see tears.
And she wasn't going to move on to the next person until she got that from me.
And it just felt really icky.
I felt manipulated.
And it didn't feel good.
It didn't make me feel like I could trust her or that I wanted to open up and share.
It felt forced.
You know we're going around this circle and it felt like she was forcing an emotional response out of everybody.
And I was explaining this to a friend of mine who is a counselor.
And she said well you know that's kind of her job as a counselor.
Is to elicit an emotional response and bring that to the surface for healing or to just observe that.
And I said yeah I know that.
And I knew that going in.
And I don't have a problem with crying in front of others or displaying my emotions.
But this felt different.
This was like it just felt manipulative and forced.
And it just didn't feel good.
Um so yeah so that's kind of an example of how the the wonderful qualities of this queen can can be used in kind of an emotionally manipulative way.
So some ways to embody the queen of cups.
The first thing is to practice really feeling your feelings.
So feeling your feelings and letting them flow not getting particularly attached to anyone feeling.
And resisting attaching a story to to your feelings.
Because sometimes when we get uh particularly if we get like a strong feeling that kind of comes out of nowhere we tend to want to explain why we're feeling like that.
And we start to attach a story to that feeling.
Which can then kind of keep us stuck in that feeling.
So just practicing feeling your feelings not judging them kind of letting them flow expressing yourself emotionally uh especially like through journaling writing uh writing a poem acting dancing singing Etc.
These are all ways to really embody the queen of Cups.
Even just sharing how you feel with another person and practice active listening.
So next time you're having a conversation with someone practice listening more than you speak.
And when you're listening listening really deeply.
Because sometimes when I'm talking to someone I notice myself they'll be talking.
And when they're talking I'm thinking about what I'm gonna say next.
And so then I'm not I'm not really listening very deeply to what they're saying.
So really practicing that like deep listening active listening and just really like holding a space for someone when they're speaking to you.
All right so I have a few journaling questions for you.
And I love it if you shared your answer to to one or more of these journaling questions in the in the comments section below.
So what part of the queen of cups do you most relate to.
And do you know anyone who is like the queen of cups.
Which of her qualities do you want to cultivate in your own life.
And which of her traits do you want to minimize or watch out for.
I mean maybe you really relate to her deep empathy.
But maybe you feel like you're too sensitive and too empathetic.
And so it's not that you want to be less sensitive.
But maybe you want to have more boundaries around some of that stuff.
Or have a better way of managing your sensitivities and your empathy.
So that it doesn't overwhelm you.
Um so I want to know what did you learn here.
Was there anything about the queen of cups that surprised you.
Did you learn anything new.
I'd love to hear in the comments below.
So thank you so much for watching.

Hello and welcome I'm Kate also known as the daily tarot girl.
And welcome to part two of my court card Series.
Today we're going to be diving into the Queen of Swords.
So settle in get comfy.
I'm gonna give you the rundown on the Queen of Swords.
I'm going to be telling you all about her personality what she represents.
I'm going to be giving you journaling questions.
So get ready.
All right so the first thing that I want to talk about uh well first of all I should say that the image that you see on your screen is from the universal.
Let's move over here.
It's from the universal weight Tarot.
And the first thing I want to touch on is the suit element.
So the suit of Cups corresponds to the element or sorry the suit of Swords corresponds to the element of air.
And this suit has to do with the mental aspect.
So the intellect the Mind our thoughts our beliefs and also communication.
And I think that this is really important to keep in mind when we're studying the core cards.
This is one of the keys to really understanding the court cards is understanding the suit qualities and what element they correspond with.
So I'm going to tell you some key words and personality traits of this queen.
So the Queen of Swords is very intellectual.
She's very smart and witty.
She's also highly observant.
She pays attention to what's going on around her.
She's also a very clear and direct communicator.
And she knows how to bring Clarity to a situation.
She's well read and knowledgeable.
And she's very organized intentional focused.
And she's very honest almost to a t almost to a fault.
And she's a truth Seeker.
So she's always looking for the truth.
She's always looking to find and expose the truth in any kind of situation.
So a few key symbols that I want you to pay attention to here.
The first thing is the sword that she's holding.
And it's pointing straight up.
And to me that straight sword really represents her straight laced qualities.
She's very straight laced.
She's a very kind of serious.
She's a straight shooter.
She's a very straightforward in the way that she communicates.
And that sword also represents being able to cut through confusion and distractions and really get to the heart of things.
And the tip of that sword is very pointy.
And that pointedness to me represents the Queen's ability to focus on just one thing at a time.
Being able to really focus her attention.
There's also butterflies on this card.
There's butterflies on her crown and uh on the throne that she's sitting on.
And to me butterflies represent transformation and the power that our thoughts and our mind have when it comes to transforming things and creating changes.
Often how we think about something has a really big impact on the way we experience something.
And we can often create a lot of changes and a lot of transformation just by thinking about or just by changing how we think about things.
The angel face that's on the throne to me represents a certain kind of innocence.
And I think this really comes through in this Queen's ability to be very honest.
And she's almost like blunt in her communication style.
And there's a certain kind of Innocence to that.
I want you to notice her outstretched hand.
She's holding her hand out.
And that outstretched hand it's like she's kind of testing the temperature of the air or just feeling to see which way the wind is blowing.
To me this represents her qualities of observation.
She's always paying attention to things.
She's observing.
She's always kind of taking the temperature of the room and paying attention as to what direction the wind is blowing.
I also want you to notice the blue sky and the clouds that are in the background.
To me the Blue Sky represents Clarity.
And the clouds may represent confusion.
And if you notice that the Queen's head is well above the clouds.
So her head is above the clouds.
And to me this just represents that she is very clear headed.
And she's very very clear in her mind and not confused and cloudy.
Okay so let's talk about her talents.
She has many talents.
She is a wonderful speaker.
She's really good at teaching because remember she's very intelligent yet she's also very observant.
And she knows how to bring Clarity to something.
And knows how to really focus.
So she's very good at making sense of things and and teaching and communicating what she knows in a very easy to digest understandable way.
So she's really good at teaching.
She's also a wonderful writer.
Remember she excels in the area area of communication.
So speaking and writing are her forte.
She's also great at doing research.
And she's so good at organizing things.
She is kind of the Marie condo of the tarot.
She loves to organize things.
She would make a great personal organizer.
So at a party if you were to go to a party and meet this Queen of Swords you would most likely spot her over in the corner kind of nosally perusing the host's bookshelf.
She's very nosy.
And she's also a little bit judgy.
And she loves books.
So whenever she's at a party she goes over to the Bookshelf and it's kind of snooping to see what's on the host's bookshelf.
Now if she finds a bunch of Danielle Steel novels and Tom Clancy paperbacks she's gonna kind of look down her nose at the host and be like hmm that's not gonna impress her.
You know she's she's not she's not impressed by uh you know romance novel paperbacks and things like that.
You may not connect with the Queen of Swords right away because she comes across a little bit cold a little bit chilly kind of like a little bit distant.
And she also seems like she sort of is a little bit straight and uptight and kind of lacks a sense of humor.
This actually isn't true.
She does have a wonderful sense of humor.
But it doesn't come across when you first meet her.
She's not gonna laugh at your fart jokes.
She's not going to be impressed with your intimate knowledge of you know love Island seasons one to eight.
You know she's not gonna be impressed by that.
Um but once you get to know her you'll find that she's actually very deep.
She's very sensitive.
She's very very observant.
And she is a true Treasure Trove of What I Call Nishi knowledge.
So she has read all kinds of books.
She's listened to all kinds of podcasts.
And she has a lot of knowledge about a lot of like really specific topics.
So if you have a question about something and you're wondering about something especially if it's some sort of historical thing more often than not the Queen of Swords is going to have an answer for you.
She's up on all the trends all the fashion but she seems unhip.
And that's because she really doesn't care.
She doesn't care if people think she's cool or not.
So she doesn't she's not like a flashy dresser necessarily.
Which actually makes her like truly cool in a way.
She just doesn't care.
She's very well read.
And she has a ton of interesting opinions about all kinds of topics.
And she's the perfect person to like if you want someone to critique something.
Like if you've written a novel or a short story and you want her to critique it she is like the person to go to.
Her critique might be a little bit harsh.
But she's always going to be honest with you.
And her feedback is always going to be really constructive.
All right so when it comes to love and romance the Queen of Swords heart and other parts won't throb until a prospective lover has proven their Superior conversation skills.
Being locked in a really tense and breathless intellectual discussion is what really gets her going.
And an intellectual Bond must happen before any physical any sexual any romantic connection is even considered.
When this queen is in love all she wants to do is talk talk talk.
She'll talk your ear off.
And she loves things like erotic literature.
That is her porn.
But she wouldn't call it that because she doesn't like that word.
So if you went in her bed you must first get in her head.
Okay I'm on to my second page of notes here.
So in the areas of work and career this queen is very hard working.
She's very focused and determined.
She's a little bit of a perfectionist.
And she pays so much attention to detail almost a little bit too much.
She's very critical and judgy of others.
But not as critical and judgy as she is of herself.
She is her own worst critic.
She's kind of like the typical Virgo.
If you know anything about astrology just think of Virgo.
That is kind of what the Queen of Swords is like.
She has a tendency to work way too hard and may sometimes find that she doesn't really have a life outside of her work and career.
She's just so dedicated to her work.
Some professions that you will most likely find the Queen of Swords in is lawyer writer speaker Professor researcher data analyst or a film and book critic.
When it comes to money and finances she's usually not rich.
And this is because she just isn't all that interested in making money.
She's very practical.
And she's good at balancing her books.
But if you gave her a hundred million dollars she will probably still drive the same old crappy car that's falling apart.
She'll wear the same old frumpy clothes.
She'll eat at the same restaurants.
The biggest change would be that she would start buying hardcover books instead of taking books out of the library.
And my camera is just being jostled from my cat.
My cat just decided hey Melina my cat just decided to walk up and headbutt my tripod to get my attention presumably.
Okay Melina that's enough.
Okay so in order to thrive this queen needs to feel intellectually stimulated.
And more than anything she needs for people to think that she's smart.
She pretends that she doesn't really care what others think of her.
And for the most part this is true.
Except when it comes to her intellect.
She wants others to see her as highly intelligent and very capable.
And if she suspects that someone thinks she's an idiot or thinks that she's incapable it will drive her crazy.
She also needs to feel organized.
She needs to be able to organize and prioritize and make sense of things.
And she also needs to be able to speak her truth.
This is super super important.
Sometimes her communication style can come across as being like too harsh and too direct and too blunt.
But she needs to feel like she can just speak her truth.
And last but not least in order to thrive the Queen of Swords needs to have a good book on the go.
If she doesn't have a good book on the go she feels lost.
I know you might be able to relate to this.
I know I can.
This is this is the part that I relate to the most.
I need to always have a good book on the go.
Where I feel I feel out of sorts.
So a few things that she really dislikes.
She dislikes dishonesty and superficiality.
She can't stand messiness and disorganization.
She does not enjoy small talk.
And above all else she can't stand idiots.
She does not suffer fools lately.
Let's dive into her dark side.
So the worst thing about this Queen of Swords is that she can come across as being a little bit too cold and critical and maybe overly intellectual.
She can maybe even sometimes come across as a little bit snobbish and stuck up.
Sometimes she lacks emotion and creativity and spiritual connection.
And we'll come across as being too blunt and direct.
The worst part about her is that she lacks social intelligence.
So what she has in intellect uh what she what she you know Sports in intellect she lacks in Social intelligence.
So she's not very good at reading a room or even um how do I say it like she's sometimes not very good at knowing how her words are going to come across to someone else.
So she might say something very direct and very blunt and critical to someone without stopping to think hey that might be really hurtful.
Like this person might really react to that.
And then she's surprised when they're offended.
So she kind of is a little bit socially awkward at times.
And sometimes she's a little bit too uptight a little bit too straight and comes across as being a little bit of a so some practices to embody this card.
Writing a letter or a speech.
This is where we really Channel our inner Queen of Swords.
Because remember there's a little bit of Queen of Swords in all of us.
Now as you're listening to me talk about her you might be thinking oh yeah this is totally me.
I'm totally Queen of Swords.
Or there might just be a few little things that you relate to and many things that you don't.
Or there might just be one little grain in here that you can relate to.
But there's a little bit of Queen of Swords qualities in all of us.
And when we're writing something we're writing a speech or a letter we're really channeling our inner Queen of Swords.
Making a to do list.
This is another Queen of Swords activity.
Getting into a really good book and just getting lost in that book.
That's something that the Queen of Swords would approve of.
Joining a debate Club a book club or a philosophy group.
Again these are Queen of Swords activities.
Practice speaking your truth.
If you're normally the kind of person who really censors yourself and really beats around the bush and tries to soften the blow by speaking you know always speaking in a positive way practice doing that a little less and see how it feels.
Really practice speaking your truth channeling your inner Queen of Swords as you do it.
And critique something.
Critique a book critique a movie or a show.
Again these are all ways to really embody the Queen of Swords.
So a few journaling questions I have for you.
What part of the Queen of Swords do you most relate to.
And if you want to just share with me in the comment section below I'd love to hear about it.
So me personally I relate to almost everything uh in with the Queen of Swords.
Not everything but most of it.
A lot of this I find relatable.
Who do you know that is like the Queen of Swords.
So I was thinking about this and I thought well other than myself I couldn't think of anyone in my day to day life.
But I could think of the actress Tilda Swinton.
For some reason she makes me think of the Queen of Swords and that Queen of Swords energy.
And there's a movie that I saw years ago like 20 years ago called it's either called swimming pool or the swimming pool.
And the main character in that movie who I believe is played by Charlotte rampling but I'll have to Google and it'll check I could be wrong on this but I think that's the actress who plays her.
Um that main character really reminds me of the Queen of Swords.
Which Queen of Swords qualities would you like to cultivate in your own life.
I'm always trying to be more organized and more focused.
So that's what I'm working on on cultivating.
And which of her traits do you want to minimize or watch out for.
So I would say for me the trait that I want to watch out for is I can sometimes be very critical.
That's that's one thing.
Um I can be a little bit critical.
And I can be very judgy sometimes.
So that's something that I'm always trying not necessarily Trying to minimize.
But just trying not to broadcast that so loudly.
So again if you want to share your answers to any of those journaling questions please feel free to do so in the comment section below.
And I just want to say thank you so much for watching.
I hope you learned a lot about the Queen of Swords.
And I hope that next time this card shows up for you in a reading she's going to feel like an old friend.

Hi I'm Kate from daily tarot girl and welcome to the very first video in my court card Series.
So I'm going to be doing a deep dive into each and every Court card over the next few weeks or months and I'm gonna start with the Queens.
So in this video we're gonna dive into the Queen of Pentacles and I'm gonna be telling you so much about the Queen of Pentacles more than you even want to know.
So I want you to sit back relax don't worry so much about remembering all the specific things I say about the Queen of Pentacles.
I want you to just relax take it all in and I really want to give you kind of a general feel for the Queen of Pentacles personality.
So don't worry about all the specifics and all the details.
I just want you to get a feel for her vibe and her energy.
So I'm going to be diving into her personality traits her Dark Side her talents.
I'm gonna tell you uh I'm gonna go into the symbols on the card and then we're going to be diving into uh what she's like at a party what she's like when she's in love what she's like at work with money etc etc.
And that is just to give you a really well rounded feel for the energy and the vibe of this card.
And I want you to think as we're going through this card and talking about all the different things about the Queen of Pentacles from all different angles I want you to think does this card remind you of yourself.
Because there is a little bit of each core card in all of us.
So I am very much like the Queen of Pentacles.
I'm also very much like Queen of Swords.
I'm a little bit like Queen of Wands a little bit like Queen of cups.
Um but each and every Court card that exists I have a little bit of of those qualities and traits Within Myself and you do too.
So I want you to pay attention and notice what parts you really relate to.
And also noticing if this card reminds you of anyone that you know all right.
So let's dive in.
Oh and uh if you enjoy this video please like And subscribe.
I'm going to be uploading these about once a week.
Uh I might skip a week here and there but I'm gonna aim for once a week.
So um let's talk about the Queen of Pentacles.
The Queen of Pentacles is um the queen of the suit of Pentacles.
And when we're talking about core cards it's really important to have a good understanding of the four suits and what they represent.
So the suit of Pentacles corresponds with the element of Earth.
So the suit of Pentacles is all about the earthy physical dimension of our day to day lives.
So things like uh material things uh our home our body money finances Health sex food all of these fall under the domain of the suit of Pentacles.
So a few keywords a few personality traits that this queen has is that she is grounded.
And I should also mention the image that you see on your screen is from the universal weight tarot.
So the Queen of Pentacles is grounded she's practical she's down to earth she's very organized she's patient stable and consistent.
She's also very good at nurturing and she's very sensual.
She's connected to her own body she knows how to be in her own body how to inhabit her body.
And she's also what I would call a homebody.
So she's not so much like an exciting person who gravitates to Thrills and excitement.
She's a homebody she loves to just hang out at home and have a low key kind of you know day to day life.
What you see is what you get with the Queen of Pentacles.
She always does things in moderation.
So you never see her doing anything in any extreme.
And she's very connected to the plant and animal kingdoms.
So if you go to her house you'll notice there's lots of uh plants around.
She loves going out digging in the garden doing gardening and she loves animals okay.
So let's talk about the symbols on this card.
The first and most important symbol is the pentacle.
So the pentacle represents money and the material realm.
It also represents the body.
So if you look at the star on the pentacle the top point is like the head the two upper points are like the arms and the two lower points are like two legs.
There's also the throne and the throne is a symbol of the Queen's maturity and her powerful status.
The throne shows that she takes ownership of her domain.
There's also a lot of plants on this card and the plants symbolize the Earth.
They also symbolize nurturing and the plant kingdom.
There's a little bunny on this card symbolizing the animal kingdom.
And she's wearing a red dress and that color red represents the root chakra which is all about physical survival.
And I think red also symbolizes blood and blood is that kind of Life Force energy that we all need to survive.
Some talents that the Queen of Pentacles has she knows how to nourish herself and others in a physical way.
So she's a really good cook.
She knows how to create beautiful nutritious meals that really you know feed your body well.
She knows how to connect to her body and how to really fully experience the sensual side of life.
So this queen really enjoys good food good wine relaxation being in a physical body.
She loves to move her body to exercise to stretch to run to dance.
She just really enjoys having a physical body.
She knows how to build a strong foundation in whatever she does.
So she's creating a business she knows how to lay the groundwork.
She's very organized and she's good at keeping things running.
So think like uh scheduled she's good at keeping everyone on schedule.
She's good at taking care of her health and and making sure her physical body is functioning and running well.
She's good at keeping her finances uh you know running and and taking along smoothly.
She's also gifted in the area of physical healing.
So uh you can think of the Queen of Pentacles as kind of a an archetype of like the Healer.
And okay so those are those are her talents.
So let's get into what she is like at a party.
So I want you to imagine yourself showing up at a party and the Queen of Pentacles is there.
She's not going to be the most exciting person in the room but she's gonna be the most reliable.
So this queen is the kind of woman who will show up at a party on time.
She doesn't believe in getting there fashionably late or anything like that.
She shows up on time and she may even stay late to help the host clean up.
That's the kind of person she is.
Um she enjoys good food good wine so she's wonderful that way.
But she never over indulges.
She's never gonna get really drunk or sloppy or anything like that at a party.
You don't have to worry about the Queen of Pentacles like being a loose cannon or getting out of control.
She always brings this kind of like calm grounded presence to any social situation.
She has a great sense of humor and her sense of humor tends to revolve around you know crude sex jokes or fart jokes or like anything to do with like bodily functions.
So while the other queens aren't gonna laugh at your weird sex jokes or anything like that the Queen of Pentacles will.
That is her sense of humor.
So I want you to stop and think do you know anyone who's like this and how much can you relate to this queen so far.
I want you to tell me in the comments below is it like 50 20 100 you know how much are you like the queen of cups or Queen of Pentacles.
So when the Queen of Pentacles is in love or in a relationship she is a very practical and grounded.
She looks for a partner who mirrors her stable qualities.
And this is interesting because a lot of people you'll find will actually gravitate to people who are the opposite of them or very different.
Whereas the Queen of Pentacles is very stable she's very grounded and she also is attracted to people who mirror those qualities.
Commitment talking about commitment and future plans are what really fire her up and get her going.
Not Grand romantic gestures.
So you're never gonna impress the Queen of Pentacles by roaring up in your Ferrari with a dozen red roses and reciting poetry.
Like she's just gonna be kind of grossed out by that.
She's not going to be into that.
She is into realness authenticity someone who's willing to commit and talk about future plans.
She knows that the initial Thrills of a new relationship are going to be short lived.
So she doesn't get too caught up in that.
She's in it for the Slow Burn.
She's not interested in drama or playing hard to get.
And she knows how to make her partner feel special by cooking you know a special home cooked meal or giving a sensual massage.
She's very physically affectionate.
So this is how she shows her affection by giving lots of hugs back rubs cuddles things like that.
Let's talk about the workplace.
So the Queen of Pentacles at work she's very disciplined she's very hard working she's reliable she's organized.
She's the kind of person you want to work with or want to work for you or um if she's your boss you know this is this is the kind of person you want to work with.
She's happiest when she's either doing something physical or creating something physical or anything that involves planning or organization.
Now I personally can relate to this queen so much.
I love planning an organization.
Whenever I'm starting a new project that is my favorite part is planning it out getting my my ideas down making a schedule.
That's my favorite part of anything is planning an organization.
A lot of people hate that.
So this is one way I can really relate to this queen all right.
Um so a few professions that the Queen of Pentacles would be good at we already mentioned you know a Healer someone who works in like the health and wellness field uh being a fitness instructor a personal trainer physiotherapist nutritionist a financial advisor a personal organizer even like a chef a cook or a Potter or a teacher.
When it comes to money and finances this queen is gifted at managing money.
Won't catch her taking any risks with her money.
So she avoids taking Financial risks.
You're not going to catch her playing the stock market or putting money into any high risk Investments.
She also knows how to live within her means.
She loves luxury and she appreciates you know good food good wine luxurious surroundings.
So from time to time so she'll splurge on something but more than anything she knows how to maintain a balance between her inflow and her outflow of money.
She's not a splashy Splendor and she splashy Spender and she does a lot of things in moderation.
So again she likes the occasional Splurge but she's not splashy with her cash.
She's really good at making money but she's even better at managing money and balancing the books.
So one of the journaling questions that I have for you is where in your life could you be more like this Queen of Pentacles.
And I have to say I want to be more like the Queen of Pentacles when it comes to money and finance because she's so gifted at that.
So in order to thrive this queen needs structure and planning.
Without structure and planning she's she flounders.
Her life needs to feel purposeful and connected to the here and now.
Otherwise she will feel lost.
She has three main physical needs in life.
So she needs three nutritious meals a day to function optimally.
She needs daily exercise preferably outside in nature somewhere.
And she needs frequent hugs so that physical connection is really important to her.
She's not the kind of person that can go weeks without physical contact.
She also thrives in beautiful and comfortable surroundings.
So if you go to her house or if you go to her workplace her office you're probably going to notice a lot of plants.
You're going to notice um you know beautiful pictures maybe some throw pillows and cozy blankets and wonderful natural scents.
She's really good at creating like a really warm and inviting environment.
So a few things that she can't stand.
She absolutely hates unpredictability and change.
While she's really good at adapting to change she doesn't like the ex the initial experience of change because it feels really ungrounding.
She can't stand flaky people and she gets really frustrated by like erratic and impulsive behavior in others.
Now I'll tell you a story because again this is how I really relate to this queen.
When I was in it was my first year of University and I think it was in like the first week of classes I met this girl and I was so happy to connect with someone and make a friend.
And she was like hey do you want to go to a play tonight so I said sure and we bought tickets to this play.
We get to the play and we watch we get halfway through the play and then in the intermission she's like oh this play is so awesome hey let's go for a walk let's do something else.
And I was like but it's just the intermission like I want to see the end of the play.
And she was like oh who cares we can see it another time let's go outside and so me being young I was like okay I guess so so we go outside and we just start walking around the campus.
And um she's like hey like I'm gonna phone my friend and maybe he can come meet us and and she was just like all over the place.
She changed her her thoughts her opinions her feelings like from moment to moment and it was so frustrating and infuriating spending time with someone like that.
And so those are the kind of people that the Queen of Pentacles can't stand.
The Queen of Pentacles also doesn't love environments that lack Beauty and comfort.
So for example like a really sparse government building or everything is like steel and concrete and and just has no uh there's no Comfort or beauty there.
And you also won't catch the Queen of Pentacles like eating mediocre food in a mediocre restaurant that has like big screen TVs broadcasting sports channels like that is not her her scene.
You're not gonna find her in places like that.
Let's talk about the dark side of this queen.
So so far we've really been highlighting all this Queen of Pentacles talents and gifts and her her bright side.
Now her Dark Side isn't really that bad.
She can be a little bit too practical which kind of makes her a little bit boring.
And if she if she's too practical she can sometimes lose the ability to dream and imagine.
And she can get 2 focused on the material side of life.
Now I wouldn't say that I mean I guess an unbalanced Queen of Pentacles might be a little bit overly materialistic.
She's not a shallow character.
She's always going to be down to earth and practical.
But she can become too fixated on taking care of material things that she neglects the the more spiritual and emotional side of things.
She's really just not the most exciting character.
That is really her Dark Side.
She's she's a little bit boring.
She's not super exciting okay.
So I'm gonna give you a few specific activities and practices that can help you really embody the Queen of Pentacles card.
So making a to do list when you wake up first thing in the morning.
Making a to do list this is totally a Queen of Pentacles activity.
This is my one of my favorite things to do too.
Exercising dancing being in your body.
Cooking a healthy meal.
Sometimes I like to make myself like a really big salad with all kinds of delicious things like salmon and olives and artichokes and onions and and then special olive oil.
And I really like pay a lot of attention to how I present it even though it's just me eating it.
I like to put a lot of thought and creativity into crafting a healthy meal.
Making any kind of schedule or plan like a meal plan a financial plan a fitness plan.
These are all in the realm of the Queen of Pentacles.
Giving someone or yourself a massage.
Doing some gardening.
Getting out there putting your hands in the dirt.
Spending the day cleaning and organizing your home.
This is another Queen of Pentacles activity.
Sometimes I like to load up my iPod with a bunch of really good True Crime podcasts.
And I like to put in my earbuds and then spend you know a few hours just like vacuuming and and cleaning and sorting and things like that.
Total Queen of Pentacles stuff.
So I have a few journaling questions for you that will really help you connect with this card on a more personal level.
The first one is how are you like this queen.
And I would love to hear it if you want to share in the comments below this video.
I'd love to hear how you can really relate to this queen.
Do you know anyone who is like this queen.
And how do you get along with them.
Uh is it someone that you really mesh well with or is it someone that you have a lot of conflict with someone that really annoys you.
Which of the Queen of Pentacles traits could you benefit from in your life.
Where in your life do you want to be more like this queen.
And which of her traits or maybe which of her dark side can you relate to.
So which of her sorry I said that in a weird way what traits do you think you could um would you like less of in your life.
Is there any Queen of Pentacles traits that you feel may be slow you down or get in the way all right.
So that is it.
That is my deep dive into the Queen of Pentacles.

Hi I'm Kate the daily tarot CW and welcome to my deep dive into the king of Wands.
So I can't wait to tell you all about this card but first I want to let you know that I have created a free tarot Court card cheat sheet for you to use in your readings.
I'm just going to put the link below this video so if you want to grab your free copy of your cheat sheet just check out the link below.
Okay so let's dive into the king of Wands.
The King Of Wands is cartic car cartic charismatic.
I'm off to a rough start.
The king of Wands is a charismatic leader who lives to inspire others and you'll he's the kind of guy that you just like want to worship and follow wherever he goes.
So sit back relax.
I am going to uncover the secrets the symbols the meanings of this card.
I'm going to tell you what the king of Wands means upright and reversed.
I'm going to break down all the symbols but most importantly I'm going to talk about the king of Wands like he is a person so you really get a feel for his personality.
Because that is the secret to really learning and understanding the court cards is to really understand them as personalities.
All right so the king of Wands and I should say the the image that you see on your screen is from the rider weight tarot.
I think specifically this is from the giant Rider weight Tarot.
Um and the the suit of Wands corresponds to the element of fire.
So think about fire and how it's it's hot it's you know it's passionate it's Dynamic it's bright.
There's a spark to it.
There's a lot of movement.
There's a lot of action.
All of these things are embedded in the personality of the king of Wands.
Now the king of Wands uh the suit of fire corresponds to the astrological fire signs.
So this would be Aries uh Leo and Sagittarius.
So if you know a little bit about astrology just think of the personality types of those three astrological signs.
The king of Wands is kind of a mixture of all three.
So some keywords and personality traits to keep in mind when we're talking about this King he is conf confident inspired and he's very inspirational.
So not only is he an inspired character himself but he has the power to inspire others.
The king of Wands is creative.
He's inventive.
He's energetic.
He's highly motivated.
He's very passionate about whatever he does.
He does everything with this kind of air of passionate Force.
He's very proactive and bold.
So he's the kind kind of guy or like the kind of person who goes after what he wants in a very direct and bold way.
He's all about taking aligned action.
So his actions always have to be in alignment to his greater life's purpose and his greater life's passion.
He is an energy harnesser and director.
So he knows how to build energy.
He knows how to pull the energy in and build it up and then direct it into something.
He's creative but he's not really artistic.
So think of the king of Wands he's super creative.
So he gets lots of ideas.
He's kind of an outside the boox Thinker.
He's very Dynamic.
He's kind of a renaissance man.
Um but he's not really what you would think of as artistic.
Like you might find him inventing something and getting really amazing ideas but you're not going to find him at your local poetry slam for example.
You know you're not going to find him uh at an art Retreat nude you know riding around on a canvas covered in paint.
He's not that kind of creative.
He's creative in a different sort of way.
Um and he is like a renaissance man.
So he could be uh you he's multi talented.
He could be a CEO.
He could be a writer.
He could be an inventor a motivational speaker uh a military leader.
Like he has kind of a multitude of abilities and talents.
He's a very passionate speaker and he inspires awe and worship in his audiences.
He's very charismatic.
Now I want you to think like a few kind of like figures um that come to mind when I when I'm thinking about the king of Wands would be like a a speaker like Tony Robbins.
So Tony Robbins is like a motivational speaker motivational coach.
This is very much kind of in the vein of the king of Wands.
Um you could also say Alexander the Great.
Um this is another person who is apparently very talented at um you know whipping a crowd of people up into a frenzy and getting the support of his followers.
Uh he was also like a carismatic leader.
You could even think of like Jesus as being a charismatic leader.
Uh any kind of polit iCal figure who is able to um really kind of rile up a crowd and doesn't have to be a positive figure it could be a more negative a more Sinister figure as well.
But anyone who's kind of a charismatic speaker or leader who has that power to kind of whip the crowd up into a frenzy that is what the king of Wands is like.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card um first of all I want you to look at this card and I want you to notice is the colors on this card.
So this card has kind of two main colors.
There's the orangey and the yellow orangey yellow and then green.
So I associate the colors of orange and yellow with fire of course.
And this is a you know uh King Of Wands he corresponds to the element of fire.
Um but I also associate those colors of of yellow and orange with the second and third chakras.
So the color orange corresponds with your sacral chakra which is all about creativity.
Color yellow corresponds to your solar plexus chakra uh which is all about willpower.
And obviously I'm oversimplifying the chakras here but uh that combination of creativity and will really kind of sums up what the king of Wands is all about and what he's really good at.
Then the color green and notice that this shade of green is kind of like a new Fresh kind of green.
It's like new green.
And you'll see this green on his shoes uh the little salamander um that's in the Forefront of this card is green.
The um uh the leaves on his staff and then also his his bib and and part of his cape looks kind of like a yellowy sort of green as well.
Depending on what deck what version of the rider weight deck you're looking at the colors can be a little little bit different.
Um so that color green to me that we see in the shoes on the salamander the leaves the bib um I think it signifies like new new growth freshness.
And I think that the king of Wands he's all about the pursuit of newness.
So this isn't a king who is content to just do the same old and same old not like the king of Pentacles who loves a routine.
He likes to get into a Groove.
He loves his Creature Comforts.
The King Of Wands is always kind of seeking something new.
He he loves an adventure.
He loves something new.
He loves something fresh.
He's always Reinventing himself.
So that's what that green kind of symbolizes.
And then there's all kinds of interesting animals on this card as well.
We see Lions.
So there's the lion necklace that he's wearing and then um on the back of his throne we see Lions there as well.
And of course this corresponds to the astrological sign of Leo.
Um but I think that Lions can represent leadership.
They can represent boldness which again is what this king is all about.
Then we see the lizard that's biting its own tail.
So we see this on the back of the throne um and that is a symbol of it's kind of similar to the AR oroborus uroboros I always have a hard time saying that the snake biting its own tail.
So it's kind of similar to that symbol and it can be a sign of like renewal regeneration recreating something.
It's also a symbol of alchemy.
And then of course we see the salamander the salamander is his like little animal companion here on this card.
And the salamander is actually a living representation of a fire Elemental.
Okay so some special talents that this King has.
So he has achieved Mastery in the energetic realm.
Now if you look at all four of the kings that we've covered so far uh the king of Pentacles has achieved Mastery in the Physical Realm so in the realm of like money and stuff um and wealth.
King of Swords has achieved Mastery in the mental realm.
So he's very intellectually developed.
The king of Cups has achieved Mastery in the emotional realm.
And then the king of Wands has achieved Mastery in the energetic realm which is is the most interesting realm I think because the realm of energy has this like mystical mysterious kind of fascinating quality to it.
And this is what makes him naturally magnetic is his ability to manipulate and work with energy.
So he knows how to work with energy and when we talk about energy in this context I'm not talking about like electricity.
I'm talking about like passion inspiration emotional thought fire uh creative Spark.
It's kind of that sort of energy.
He's good at creating energy and passion in a crowd and then directing it into something.
Now this can be for good or for something bad and evil which we'll get to when we talk about his Dark Side.
He's a natural born leader that is kind of his number one Talent OR ability.
He's a natural born leader.
He ignites passion in people's hearts in a way that they've never felt before.
And this can really inspire people to get on board with his message or his cause in a really powerful way.
Now if you were to run into this night at a party if you're at some sort of social function and the Knight of wand or king sorry King Of Wands was there you would probably see him kind of off in the corner kind of surrounded by a small crowd.
He just has this ability to magnetize people to him and they'll be kind of crowded around him and he'll be speaking and they will be just like hanging on his every word.
He's very Lively.
He's very conversational.
And he has this special spark behind his eyes.
He has this aliveness to him that makes him stand out from the crowd.
I don't know if you've ever spoken or had a conversation with someone that's like this and right away you can can tell they're different from many other people because they're just they're alive.
They're they have this light behind their eyes.
They're like a firecracker conversationally.
Um that is what the king of Wands is like.
And you may find yourself kind of gravitating towards him as does many people in the room.
So you might kind of gravitate toward him and you may just want to be like you might just be content to kind of be in his presence.
You don't necessarily have to have his attention on you or to be talking to him but to just kind of be in his presence and observing him speak and watching him.
That in it of itself is kind of energizing.
He just kind of inspires that in others.
I'm watching a really interesting documentary right now and I wish I remembered what it was called but it's about sort of different yoga gurus that kind of were more like cult leaders.
And uh it sort of interviewing people that followed them for many years.
And people would say like oh this this Guru like you know he was just he had this special spark to him.
And just to be in his presence and to listen to him speak would almost kind of make you feel high.
Like you just really be getting off on just being in this person's presence.
And it totally made me think of the king of Wands.
Okay so I'm just going to switch my note sheet here.
All right so when it comes to work and career he is like I said before he's a renaissance man.
So he's good at a lot of different things.
He's very career focused and career driven.
Um you know he could be a CEO.
Basically any anything in like a leadership position.
He could be an inventor a Creator a military or political reader inspirational speaker some kind of public figure.
But he loves to inspire others and to direct others.
His work always aligns with his life's purpose and his greater passion.
So he is not content just to do a job.
Um he's not content to just like do do something that will make him look good or that will give him power or Prestige.
Like it really has to align with his life's purpose.
He has this magical ability to in achieve Inc incredible Feats that to an outsider would look like it's kind of like an impossible thing.
It's almost like he can kind of Bend space and time.
And this is due to his ability to really tap into his inner fire his inner passion and align his actions with his Soul's purpose.
This is what allows him to do the most incredible things.
Uh and again I'm reminded of I I keep thinking of like Alexander the Great when I'm talking about the the king of Wands.
Now the reason I probably keep thinking about him is I'm reading this book right now um on Alexander the Great that I'm really enjoying.
And Alexander the Great just had this you know this ability to uh really Inspire others and to get you know whole like massive armies like on his side to get them on board.
And he had this ability to like he set these like wild goals and he was able to achieve them uh in this really crazy way.
Uh so the whole time I was like doing the preparation for this video and I'm thinking and writing about the king of Wands I kept thinking of Alexander the Great CU I feel like he is a really good example of that kind of energy.
So the king of Wands when it comes to work and career he works tirelessly.
Like people around him will be like how is this guy still going.
Like how is this guy where does he get his energy.
Basically he works tirelessly.
And he inspires Lord loyalty in the people that work with him.
And he kind of inspires almost like a cult following in in his colleagues and people that he's working with.
When it comes to love and uh romance he's so focused on his greater purpose in life whether that is running a small country leading an army being a CEO or inventing something.
He's so focused on that that relationships kind of come second place.
But it's relationships are still important to him.
He's still kind of a relationship person.
He's still like decent when it comes to relationships.
It's still important to him.
It's just not his number one.
He's very passionate though when he's in love.
So he's he's a passionate passionate man.
And uh especially when he meets someone whose goals and dreams are in alignment with his own this is what really really excites him and makes him really passionate.
But a little secret about about the king of Wands is that he wants to be worshiped.
He wants to be worshiped and followed.
So any partner he has he wants to feel he wants to feel a little bit like a god.
I actually would say that like the king of Wands he's kind of similar to the magician in a lot of ways.
So if there was like one major Arcana card that is most like the king of Wands I would say it's the magician.
So he wants to be worshiped.
He wants to be followed.
But this doesn't really come from a place of insecurity like you might think.
Like he's not insecure.
He's totally confident in himself.
He's inspired in his life.
Uh but he does have this like secret little wish to be worshiped.
When it comes to money and finances the king of Wands is successful in the financial Realms although this is never really his Focus.
So he's entirely focused on living out his life's purpose and following his calling like really hearing that inner calling and then taking aligned action.
But this always leads to him being fully supported financially.
So he's comfortable financially.
Uh but he's not flashy.
He doesn't enjoy luxury in like in the same way that the king of Pentacles might.
Uh he does enjoy power.
He likes being the center of attention.
He doesn't really care about shiny bobles or you know those kinds of like physical status symbols.
He thrives on power thrives on influence being influential influencing others uh charting new territory and breaking records.
This is something he really loves to do.
Uh he likes to set and Achieve big huge impressive impossible goals.
And again I'm thinking of like Alexander the Great when I'm talking about this king.
Um so yeah he loves to set impossible goals and then go out and Achieve them.
He he really thrives on it inspiring others uh getting up in front of a big crowd and addressing a big crowd whipping people up into a frenzy and having followers that are inspired by him.
That really excites him.
Let's talk about his dark side.
So I kind of teased a little bit about his Dark Side earlier.
Um and basically his dark side I it's that he has this power to influence people and to whip up a crowd into a frenzy and then direct them to do something which could be good if it's doing something good like you know if he's on the board of some charity and he's doing some charity fundraising or something then that's great.
But then he could also be an evil dictator too.
And he has that same power and ability.
Um so that is his dark side is that he does have this ability to whip up a crowd and direct them to do something that might be terrible and destructive.
He can become rest less and cranky if he doesn't feel sufficiently challenged or worshiped.
And he can get addicted to power.
Um the power that comes from being a charismatic leader with influence which could cause him to lose sight of his original goals.
Now I don't typically think of all these dark things when the king of Wands comes up.
I mean maybe if he's like reversed or something uh or depending on what some of the other surrounding cards are.
Typically I think of the king of wands in a really positive way.
But all the court cards have their dark side.
All right so I'm just going to switch to my third not sheet here and let's talk about what this card actually means when it shows up in your reading and what it means when it's reversed.
So when the king of Wands shows up for you um he's there basically to encourage you to take inspired action.
So to really tap in into your energetic well of passion like what are you passionate about.
What fires you up.
When you tap into that it gives you unlimited energy and you kind of become this Unstoppable Force.
When you're really tuned in to your passion and your fire and you're taking aligned action and you're you know what your calling is and you're listening to that inner calling um this makes you an Unstoppable force.
And the king of Wands is there to kind of remind you that you can do that.
He's also there to remind you to not be afraid to set big goals but especially if the pursuit of those goals feels just as yummy and delicious and as exciting as the acquiring of those goals.
So one important thing I'll say about the king of Wands is he's not into setting big goals just just to achieve the goals.
It's the act of going out in the world and achieving them and working towards them that is exciting to him.
It's the adventure of that that is equally exciting if not more exciting than the actual achievement of those goals.
The king of Wands will show up in your reading to remind you to be the leader in your own life or even to maybe it's time for you to step into a leadership role.
But most importantly to be the leader in your own life.
Um he can he can remind you to really focus on your own life purpose and inner calling.
Um and he reminds you that you have leadership skills within you and you have this ability to inspire others as well.
If this card shows up reversed so uh King Of Wands reversed um it may indicate a difficulty stepping into a leadership role or even just a difficulty in stepping into like being the leader of your own life.
It could show that there's a little bit of a disconnect between your actions and uh your purpose and your passion.
So maybe your life purpose is one thing but your actions are taking you in another Direction and there's a disconnect there.
That that's what the Reversed King Of Wands could represent.
Um reversed King Of Wands could also indicate kind of feeling a lack of motivation and inspiration and maybe there's a need to kind of just sit down and reconvene with yourself and and get clear on what your greater purpose is.
He can also when he shows up reversed it can also symbolize like not really believing in yourself and not believing that you can achieve the goals that you've set for yourself.
So a few ways to embody this card.
Number one there's there's three main ways to really embody the energy of the king of Wands.
So number one is to set big goals and believe in yourself.
Number two is to align your actions with your passion and purpose.
And number three is to brush up on your public speaking spells that was an ironic uh sentence to bungle there.
Brush up on your public speaking skills like um you know join Toast Masters or something like that.
All right so I have four journaling questions for you.
Um so if you're into tarot journaling uh it's super powerful to sit with each card and journal a little bit about it.
So I've got four fun journaling questions for you.
Number one and I'm going to post these journaling questions below this video uh it's also going to be on my blog which I'll link to.
So number one is what aspects of this King do you relate to personally.
You know how are you similar to this King.
Number two is who in your life or in history is like the king of Wands.
Where in your life could you use that confident inspiring energy of this King.
And what is your relationship to being in a leadership role.
Is this something you're comfortable with uncomfortable with um yeah.
So good luck with those journaling questions.

Hi I'm Kate the daily tarot girl and welcome to my deep dive into the king of Cups.
So I'm going to tell you all about the king of Cups.
I'm going to tell you about his personality his Dark Side what he means when he shows up in your readings and even what he means when he shows up reversed.
So get comfortable and get ready to learn more than you even wanted to know about the king of Cups.
Now before we dive into this video I want to let you know that I have made you a very special tarot Court card cheat sheet to help you in your tarot readings.
So if you want to grab your very own copy of this cheat sheet I'm going to put the link below um for you to grab that.
All right so let's dive into the king of Cups.
So the king of Cups he's kind of a touchy Fey counselor type of guy who loves hugging chick flicks spiritual Retreats things like that.
He's the kind of guy that you just want to tell all your secrets to or tell all your problems to.
Now the key to really understanding the core cards is to pay attention to their suit.
So he is um the king of Cups so from the suit of Cups and the suit of cups is associated with emotions feelings emotional connection relationships and it corresponds to the element of water.
And water is a symbol for feelings emotional depth flow and astrologically if you know a little bit about astrology think of all the water signs.
So think of cancer Pisces Scorpio all those personality traits of those star signs show up a little bit in the king of Cups.
He's kind of like a blend of all those astrology signs.
So some key words and personality traits to keep in mind when we're talking about the king of cups um oh and I should say the image that you see on your screen is from the uh giant Rider weight tarot and the giant Rider weight tarot is just the rider weight tarot but the cards are super big but that's where I got this this card image from um okay so the king of Cups he is deep.
He is sensitive.
He's caring.
He's emotionally intelligent.
And he's also very nurturing.
Now he like I said he's a Fey kind of guy.
He's he kind of has that sort of like uh empathetic counselor energy to him.
He's naturally intuitive and he's just really good at picking up on others emotions and feelings even from across the room.
He's very interested in spirituality and anything that allows him to kind of go beneath the surface.
Think about the suit of water.
Think of water diving down deep beneath the surface.
That is what the king of cups loves to do.
So he is masculine on the outside feminine on the inside because he is a king which is masculine of Cups the suit of cups is a feminine suit.
He has both masculine and feminine traits kind of equally balanced within him.
So he's the kind of guy who you meet him and he may be kind of maybe he's kind of beefy and muscular and kind of rugged looking but then you get to know him and you realize that he's actually very soft and tender and nurturing on the inside.
So he loves a lot of like stereotypically feminine things like romcoms and romance novels and books like Twilight.
Um doing yoga not not that yoga is feminine but you know he likes things like yoga spiritual Retreats crystals stuff like that.
That's all stuff that he's really into.
I like to think of the king of cups as being a former alcoholic.
So if you look at him he's holding a cup so he he likes to drink or I should say he's a former alcoholic.
So in his past he maybe has used alcohol as a way to kind of drown out all those like really intense feelings that he would feel because he he's so sensitive.
He picks up on everyone else's emotions.
He feels things really deeply.
So maybe in his youth he used alcohol to kind of manage manage that and deal with that.
Um but he has since learned how to truly feel his feelings and process his emotions in a healthy way.
So he's no longer an alcoholic and he wants to inspire other people to do the same to give up the booze and uh to have a healthier relationship with their emotions.
Um so that's kind of how I think of the king of Cups.
It's like maybe he's struggled with his emotions and with alcohol in the past but he's grown.
He's matured.
Um he's learned a better way.
He may even be the kind of guy who you know he's in recovery and maybe he talks a lot about that and he's really into inspiring others.
Okay some symbols to keep in mind when we're looking at this card.
So some symbols I want you to notice here the number one symbol of course is the water.
Um that's kind of in the background and surrounding him.
Uh the water is a symbol for the emotions and also uh like I said like a symbol of death depth emotional depth.
The color blue is featured prominently on this card and blue is a very peaceful calm color.
And here it's kind of a light blue so it's very peaceful very calm.
I associate it with Clarity also communication and the king of cups is great at communicating from the heart.
He's a very heart centered kind of individual.
He's holding a cup and that cup is a symbol for space holding a space.
He's wearing a fish necklace and if you look at his feet it looks like he's wearing like scaled socks like he's got little fish scales on his feet.
Um I feel like the fish symbol is like a symbol for being able to navigate deep Waters with ease.
So being able to navigate the emotional Waters easily and the emotional depths easily.
Now the most interesting symbol on this card I think is the concrete slab beneath his feet.
So his throne is resting on this block of concrete and it's so interesting because his throne is actually very rounded and if you compare him to the other kings the other kings's Thrones are uh straight and I think the king of Pentacles I don't have him in front of me but I feel like there's kind of like some pointy bits um on his throne but the king of cups has this like rounded smooth kind of gentle looking throne and then he's Seated on this Square boxy kind of uh flat block of concrete and to me this this block of concrete um it shows it's like stability amidst emotional turmoil cuz all the waves around him are kind of roiling waves.
There's a ship that's like in the background bobbing up and down on the waves.
There's a fish jumping but he's Seated on this block of concrete and to me that is a really interesting symbol.
Really shows his ability to immerse himself in the emotional Waters but he's still on kind of dry land.
He still has his feet firmly planted on a solid surface even though he's surrounded by water.
So it shows that he's able to you know be surrounded by intense emotions but still stay stable calm and really hold on to himself.
All right so some talents some special talents that this King has.
So he has achieved Mastery in the emotional realm.
And if we think of all the different Kings they have all achieved Mastery in their own realm.
So King of Swords has achieved Mastery over his mind in the intellectual realm in the mental realm.
Uh we've done king of uh Pentacles.
He's achieved Mastery in the physical and financial realm.
And king of Cups has achieved Mastery in the emotional realm.
Uh so he really knows how to be with his feelings.
How to just sit and he looks calm right.
He's sitting on his throne just kind of resting.
He's just sitting there.
He knows how to sit with his emotions and his feelings to not judge them to just accept them as they are and learn from them and process them and he he's very like he's deeply intuitive.
Maybe you could even say a little bit psychic.
He's deeply intuitive.
He's very empathetic.
So that's one of his talents.
He communicates from the heart and he is a gifted healer.
Now he's the kind of healer though that he doesn't actually have to go out and do anything to heal people.
It's just his presence.
Being in his presence having him sit with you and listen listen to you just that has a very healing effect on people.
So if you were to run into the king of cups at say a party um he would be the one who's kind of off sitting in the corner Silent not speaking but listening.
And someone will be talking to him intensely and pouring out their heart to him.
And he might be nodding like this his eyes might be wide with emotion um but he's just listening.
He's like a shoulder to cry on.
Um so you will be particularly drawn to this king of cups if you're having problems in your life right now.
So if you're going through a hard time and you just need a shoulder to cry on or someone to vent to he can be kind of a magnet for that.
You just want to tell him all your problems.
You just want to like spill your heart out to him because he makes you feel seen and heard and held.
Now now at work in the career field um he is most often a counselor a therapist or a teacher.
He might be like a yoga teacher a social worker uh doing anything anything where he's helping other people is something that he would be really good at.
And working in the spiritual Realms maybe even doing energy work or something like that would be right up his alley.
Again he's focused on helping others and he's focused on emotional uh on like helping people heal emotionally.
He's a great communicator.
So if you work with a king of Cups type he's the kind of person who's very good at communication.
He knows how to communicate difficult information in a really tactful way that doesn't make you feel bad.
Um and if he's like your boss or or if he has people working under him he's the kind of person who will always be wanting to like bring in workshops to the work environment.
Um and have have everyone do special trainings and things like nonviolent Communications or if you've ever done a workshop that included trust games where you you know fall back into a group of people that's kind of his thing.
Some people love that kind of stuff.
Some people hate it.
But this is totally something that the king of cups would be into.
All right all right okay so let's talk about what he's like when it comes to love and romance.
So you you may have already guessed this already but the king of Cups he loves love.
He is in love with love.
He's the most romantic out of all the kings unsurprisingly.
Uh he's very sensual but he's also mature and loyal.
So he makes a great partner or you know romantic partner life partner.
Uh he really craves deep emotional connection.
He likes things like eye gazing hugging sensual massages and long endless talks about each other's feelings.
So he demands that his partner always be revealing their emotions and revealing their deeper undercurrents to him which can be really exhausting.
So if you're like the king of Cups being with another king of Cups might be great.
Um but if you're not and you don't always want to be talking about your feelings and you don't always want to be sharing what's going on in your emotional world with someone then it can actually be really really exhausting.
I think that there's times in a relationship where it's nice to go deep and to share things and then there's times where maybe you just want to like kick back and watch a movie together and not have a big deep emotional conversation but the king of cups he doesn't get that balance.
He he just likes to to be in that place of um deep sharing and connection all the time.
So when it comes to uh money and finances the king of Cups he's not super into money.
It's not super important to him.
But he always seems to have a good Financial flow.
He believes that money is tied to the emotions and so that if he's feeling uh like MoneyWise things are kind of stagnant or money is kind of tight he looks for the emotional block that could be tied to that.
So some things that the king of Cups thrives on he thrives on deeply connecting with other people.
He's definitely a people person.
He thrives on deep conversations hugging eye gazing having someone bear their soul to him and tell him all about their problems.
He just comes alive when that is happening.
He thrives on helping others especially helping others release their emotional blocks.
And he thrives on going to spiritual Retreats.
So I don't know if you know anyone that's like a spiritual Retreat junkie and they're always going to spiritual festivals and Retreats.
This is totally what the king of cups would do.
Let's talk about his dark side.
So the king of Cups he can be mov booody.
He can be overly sensitive but tight lipped about how he's feeling.
So this is the dark side where he's going to be in kind of an emotional Funk but then you know you you've probably dated someone like this where they're you can tell something's not right and they're like what's wrong are you okay they're like I'm fine I'm fine.
Like that's kind of the dark side of the king of cups.
If he if he's in a bad mood he might be like that.
Now he can be a little bit too emotionally self indulgent spending way too much time unpacking his feelings and pondering himself to the point of self absorption.
So the bright side of the king of cups is that he's he's like emotionally aware emotionally mature uh and he can really like process his feelings.
But then his dark side is that there's always a danger that he does that too much.
He's like always doing that.
He's kind of like the stereotypical guy.
So I remember that phrase emo was big like 10 12 years ago and I don't really hear it anymore but uh it means like emotional.
So like an Emo character he's kind of like that.
Um so a short little story that I want to tell is I had a friend who started dating someone and at first she said this guy is amazing.
He is so emotionally mature.
He's so in touch with his feelings.
And he's such a great communicator and he's so good at sharing what he's feeling and she just thought this was like really wonderful.
But then 2 or 3 months into the relationship she said you know what I can't stand this guy.
All he wants to do is talk about his feelings.
All he wants to do is have these heart to heart talks these emotional talks where we share each other's deep emotions and feelings and she's like I'm fine with doing that but just not all the time.
And so that that kind of When I Was preparing the the video script for this video it made me think of that guy.
So some ways to embody the king of Cups some ways to like really work with this card.
So greeting your feelings and your emotions whatever they are whether it's a positive feeling an intense feeling or negative feeling just being able to uh welcome whatever feelings come up for you with gratitude and to see your emotions as gifts.
Just being able to sit with your emotions accept them without judgment hold a space for them.
This is one way to really do the work of the king of Cups and to be able to explore your feelings process them and hear their message.
These are all ways to embody this King.
So what does it mean when the king of Cups shows up for you in one of your readings.
So he could be appearing in your reading to remind you that it's time to really honor your feelings and and honor your sensitive side no matter what your feelings are.
Every emotion is a gift in some way.
Uh he could be telling you that now is the time to just sit with something not necessarily A Time for Action or Adventure but to just sit with something.
Um now if he shows up reversed it could mean a few different things.
So if he shows up in your reading upside down um it could show that you're feeling kind of cut off from your emotions or having trouble like really feeling your feelings or even being afraid of your feelings or even feeling numb.
He can symbolize like reversed he can symbolize being a little too self indulgent and Naval gazy when it comes to your feelings.
Like instead of processing your feelings and working with them you just kind of marinate in them and just kind of sit in them for too long.
So some journaling questions so I don't know about you but I love Tarot journaling and I love journaling about the cards.
So I have four questions for you to journal on if you really want to go deep and explore this King even further.
So the first journaling question is what aspects of this King do you relate to.
Is there anyone in your life that is like this king of Cups and if you want to share that in the comment section I'd love to hear it.
Do you know anyone like this king of Cups.
Where in your life could you use that deep sensitivity and heart centeredness of this King.
Where could you benefit from more of that.
And then the last question is and and by the way I'm going to put all these questions below this video um so yeah so if you don't want to write them down just you can look below the video in the comments or the info section and I'll post them there.
So the last question is what is your relation ship to your feelings.
Like how do you respond like how do you respond when a negative feeling arises or a really intense feeling.
What is that relationship like to your feelings.
All right so that is it.
That is the the king of cups in a nutshell.
I hope you've enjoyed that.
I hope you've learned something.
Thank you so much for watching and don't forget I'm going to post the link to grab your court card cheat sheet below.

Hi I'm Kate also known as the daily tarot girl and welcome to my deep dive into the King of Swords.
So before we get started I have made you a court card cheat sheet you can grab your copy below.
And this cheat sheet is going to help you in your readings by helping you connect with the core cards when they come up.
All right so let's dive in.
So the image that you see on your screen is is from the rider weight tarot.
And the King of Swords he he's probably my least favorite King.
I'm just going to put it out there.
He's very serious he's very he's kind of stuffy but he's super smart he's sharp as attack and he is the king of swords.
And the suit of Swords corresponds to the element of air and it has to do with the whole mental realm.
So think of thoughts the Mind beliefs being able to focus on something that whole mental realm is what this King has mastered.
So he has Mastery over the mental realm.
Now some key words and personality traits to keep in mind when it comes to this king is that he is very intelligent he's sharp he's focused he's very serious he's kind of Stuffy and sort of uptight he pays ATT attention to details he is a very good planner strategizer uh he's very strategic he's a good negotiator and he's always kind of ahead of the game.
He's always several steps ahead of everybody else.
He has wisdom also a little bit of ego and I associate him with like having knowledge like wisdom knowledge mental Mastery.
So some symbols to pay attention to on this card there's actually a lot of symbols for this one.
So the first thing I notice about this card is the clouds in the background.
And to me clouds kind of have this sort of pessimistic quality.
And I think that this king is probably kind of a he's a realist but he's also a little bit pessimistic.
And I also associate uh clouds with thoughts.
So think of like the Clear Blue Sky being like an nice empty peaceful mind.
And then the clouds that drift by are like thoughts just kind of drifting through your mind.
And then we also see some like two little birds in the background up in the sky.
And to me those birds symbolize like having a bird's eye view having like seeing the big picture and how things kind of connect.
And I associate that with wisdom like being able to stand back and and see the big picture and see all the moving Parts.
I feel like that is a a a part of wisdom.
And the color blue features prominently on this card.
So we see the Blue Sky we see the blue in his outfit his his I want to call it a gown that he's wearing.
And to me blue is very cool it's a cold color.
And this King knows how to keep a cool head in hot situations.
So he has this kind of cool almost an aloof quality to him.
I also think that color blue symbolizes Clarity and space so air space the breath.
And then he's holding his big sword pointing pointing upright.
And that sword looks very sharp.
And think of it as a symbol of like cutting through distraction.
There's also butterflies and Crescent moons on the in the background on his throne.
And these symbols kind of surprised me CU I think of the King of Swords as being kind of serious he's a little uptight and stuffy.
And butterflies and Crescent moons to me those are like symbols of the goddess.
And they're they're kind of a little bit especially the butterflies are kind of light and it's kind of a fun symbol.
But the butterfly represents transformation.
And I feel like this is the transformation that is possible when you are like the king King of Swords and you achieve Mastery over the mental realm.
And then the Crescent Moon is a very feminine kind of goddess symbol.
And it's there too.
And that that to me is a little bit more mysterious.
I'm not 100 sure what that what that symbol is doing there um but I find it interesting.
Okay so some some things that this king is really talented at.
He's very wise and he has a lot of knowledge and he has a great memory.
He's the kind of guy who can just you know uh look at something and memorize it right away.
And almost like a living Library you could ask him about anything.
And if he's like read a book if he's taken a class on something he retains that knowledge like like nobody else.
He gives really good advice.
So this is the kind of guy that you want in your corner when things go wrong.
This isn't the kind of guy like you wouldn't invite you wouldn't necessarily invite the King of Swords to a party.
This isn't the kind of guy you want to go on vacation with or even like go on a date with.
But this is the kind of guy that you want in your corner when things go badly in your life because he gives excellent advice.
And he is a gifted strategist and negotiator.
So he knows how to make a good plan how to have a strategy.
And he knows how to he can basically talk his way out of anything or into anything.
Um the suit of Swords is also about communication and words and so the King of Swords really knows how to use his words and communicate well.
Uh I think of him as being like a top lawyer.
Like he'd be a really good lawyer.
And he could be in the courtroom and things might be getting heated and be really intense.
But he would stay calm he'd stay cool and he would just be in his element.
He can also read minds but not in like a mystical psychic way.
He's just really good at noticing patterns and he's just very observant.
And he pays attention he sees the patterns and that is how he's able to kind of anticipate what someone is thinking and what they might do next.
If you were to run into the King of Swords at a party first of all it's probably not going to happen.
He doesn't go to parties.
He doesn't like parties.
He does not enjoy parties at all.
He's not he's not the kind of guy who's a lot of fun.
He's not uh he doesn't really like to kick back and hang out.
That's just not who he is.
He might come to a party for an hour kind of make an appearance and then leave.
However if this is like a debate party then it's a totally different deal.
He loves to argue and debate things.
So if this was a debate party he would be there.
Or if it's the kind of party where people there are willing to engage him in heated conversation and kind of argue with him and debate certain topics then he would stay for that.
He would be really really into that.
He also has kind of a dark sense of humor which isn't for everyone but some people might appreciate that about him.
You might actually find him in social situations being disagreeable on purpose just to get an argument going.
And it's not because he's a jerk or he's a bad guy but this is what kind of makes him feel alive.
I so I had a friend who uh I have a friend who loves to argue and debate things and she can get quite heated but it's all fun in games for her.
And she said that her family when they get together for like Christmas dinner Thanksgiving dinner everyone in her family is like this as well.
And to an outsider it might look like everyone is fighting and yelling at each other but really everyone's just having a good time and enjoying each other's company by arguing and and and shouting and getting like getting into like heated debates over things.
And so that is totally what the the King of Swords is like.
Okay so when it comes to work this is the area that the King of Swords really excels in.
He loves work.
So he would make a fantastic lawyer or anything that involves a lot of strategizing planning ahead and negotiating.
He loves to negotiate.
And the higher the stakes the better for him.
He's very focused he's hardworking and he's a high achiever.
He strives for excellence in everything that he does.
And he takes his work very seriously.
And in fact he is a little bit of a workaholic.
Now he's never sloppy.
He pays attention to detail.
He never shows up late.
He's never unprofessional.
Um but he's not exactly fun to work with.
Now he takes a lot of pleasure and pride in his work and a lot of pleasure in doing a job well done.
And so you might enjoy working with this guy.
Um because he is very talented he's very smart he's very professional but he's not very much fun.
And in fact if he was your boss he's the kind of boss that might I don't know yell a lot maybe or uh I mean he wouldn't be quick to temper that's definitely not him.
He definitely has a cool head.
But he just takes everything very seriously and holds himself to such a high standard.
And also holds everyone else around him to a really high standard as well.
Okay so I'm just going to switch my note sheet here.
So when it comes to love and romance you you might have guessed this is not the King of Swords strong suit.
So this is not something that he is particularly good at.
So he while he's very intelligent and gifted in many areas he really lacks the emotional intelligence and just the ability to like pick up on other people's emotions or reading like body language kind of reading between the lines picking up on the energy on the vibe.
He doesn't really know how to do this.
And those are all skills that are required to be good at relationships.
He's married to his work.
So relationships aren't super important to him anyhow.
Relationships always come second to him.
Now he's very practical and levelheaded when it comes to love.
So you wouldn't really catch him like falling head over heels in love with someone and throwing all caution to the wind and because of this he can sometimes kind of come across as a little bit cold a little bit unemotional and aloof like he doesn't really care.
Which some people like.
Some people are really drawn to that.
So it's not that people aren't attracted to the King of Swords.
Plenty of people might be attracted to him.
Uh he's just not a lot of fun to be in a relationship with.
He loves intellectual conversations.
And so when it comes to looking for a partner this is essentially what he's looking for is maybe even like a queen of Swords uh or yeah a Queen of Swords type um someone who's like very intellectual and can like argue with him.
Someone who's super smart.
But he always wants to be a little bit smarter than them.
He doesn't want someone smarter than he is.
Um but he's looking for those intellectually stimulating conversation but what he actually needs is more more of like a queen of Cups type or even a Knight of Cups type like just someone who's more in tune with their emotions and feelings and that might be able to help him kind of get more comfortable in this Arena.
But it's typically the Queen of Swords types that he's into.
Now his Partners may feel kind of small and stupid in his presence because he is very intelligent.
He's often the most intelligent person in the room.
But he doesn't have the tact to not make that obvious like he kind of makes people feel dumb when they're around him.
Um and he loves to portray himself as the rational cool headed one in the relationship and so regardless of who he's in relationship with and what they're like they will always feel like they're the overly emotional irrational ones in the relationship and they might not actually be that but in comparison to the King of Swords they are and so that might be very frustrating for people that get into a relationship with a King of Swords type.
He always needs to be right.
And he never loses an argument.
And we all know how annoying that is right.
So despite his wisdom and despite his intelligence and his awareness in all other areas of life he seems to really lack these qualities when it comes to romantic relationships.
Now when it comes to finances and money he isn't materialistic and he really doesn't take any pleasure in acquiring money but he loves organizing the money that he does have.
So he loves financial planning.
He loves you know getting on his laptop and jerking around with his stocks and moving money around and stuff like that and researching different stock options like that's his thing.
So he doesn't so much care about making money to spend because he doesn't really want to buy anything but he likes to make the money so that he can uh mess around with the money and organize it.
He always has a really good financial plan in place.
He thinks years and decades ahead when he's making Investments and financial decisions and he's the kind of guy who's always kind of financially comfortable.
He spends wisely.
He enjoys the security that money brings.
But he's not flashy.
Now he thrives on debates and arguments.
Now I know I've already talked about this but I want to say it again.
So words are his weapons or you could say words are his play things.
He loves using words to express himself.
Now when I did my video on the Queen of Swords I talked about how good she was at communicating and using either written words or vocalizing um she's very good at communicating and the King of Swords is also good at communicating but I feel like the Queen of Swords she's good at using her words to get her point across whereas the king uses his words like a magician like in order to almost manipulate a situation or to become powerful like he really uses his wisdom and his use of words to make himself you know more powerful so he wields those words with skill and efficiency.
So think of him like being a lawyer trying to sway a jury or to win a a debate or negotiate a contract.
Now he also really thrives when it comes to acquiring knowledge and wisdom.
So this is when he's in his happy place.
So things like libraries books higher education doing research these are all things that he really loves.
And of course he loves playing chess because chess is really a game of strategy and planning ahead and he loves to do that.
Let's talk about his dark side and then I'm going to tell you what he means when he shows up in a reading.
So his dark side sometimes he might have a massive ego like he thinks that he's smarter than everyone and usually he is.
Um he can be like if he's in a bad mood he can be very depressive very gloomy very pessimistic.
He can become overly critical and cold with sharp words and kind of an icy demeanor.
He's overly focused on his work and he may come across as being uncaring about others and he isn't necessarily he's not a bad person he's not uncaring about others but he does come across that way cuz he's just not good at like expressing his emotions.
He also compartmentalizes his life in a way that feels kind of cold and unfeeling.
So he has his work life personal life relationships Etc it's all like very separate.
So some ways to embody this card is to plan ahead have a strategy negotiate something use your breath to clear your mind and focus.
So when the Knight of Swords comes up in a reading this is what he means.
This is what he's trying to tell you.
He's trying to remind you to take a deep breath clear your mind Focus.
This is how you access your deep inner wisdom.
He may also encouraging you to make a plan and have a strategy.
So don't just go floating through life hoping something will happen hoping for the best.
Actually make a plan have a strategy have a game plan.
He encourages you to use your powers of negotiation and to be rational and think sensibly and pay attention to the details especially when it comes to like signing contracts or getting into agreements with people.
He also encourages you to acquire more knowledge about something before moving forward.
So doing more research acquiring more information about something even seeking advice from an expert.
Now if the King of Swords shows up in a reading reversed um he could be telling you to beware of being too in your head.
So maybe you're being way too serious ious and uptight and reversed it's saying loosen up don't be so serious.
Uh lighten up.
It might also show that you're having a hard time making a plan like planning ahead having some kind of a strategy.
All right so here are some really fun journaling questions for this king and the journaling questions can be uh a valuable way to really connect personally with the cards.
I love I love Journal on all the cards.
So here's a few journaling questions.

Hello and welcome to my deep dive into the king of Pentacles.
My name is Kate.
I'm also known as the daily tarot girl.
And I can't wait to tell you all about the king of Pentacles.
I am going to make him come alive for you so that he feels like flesh and Bone.
So he feels human and relatable.
So the next time he pops up in your reading you're going to recognize him.
He's going to feel comfortable to you.
And you're going to know exactly what to say.
Before we get into the video though I have made you a Tarot Court card cheat sheet to help you in your readings.
You can grab your free copy below.
I'll put the link below.
Okay so let's get into it.
So the king of Pentacles he's very successful.
He is generous.
He's stable.
I like to think of him as the sugar daddy of the tarot.
Now this is my first video on the Kings so I feel like I should just kind of pause here to talk about what the Kings represent.
So there's four kings in the tarot and king of Pentacles king of Cups King of Swords King Of Wands.
And the Kings represent the sort of mature masculine experienced representation of their suit.
So with the king of Pentacles he is the king of Pentacles and Pentacles corresponds to the element of Earth.
So this is the most physical suit and this suit has to do with things like the body Health money physical stuff.
He is the most grounded calm and solid kind of downto earth king out of all the kings.
So some keywords to keep in mind uh he's stable.
The king of Pentacles is very successful.
He's confident.
He's generous.
He's a really good provider.
He is oh and I should say I should mention sorry the image that you see on your screen um is from the uh universal weight tarot or the rider weight tarot.
So um yes okay sorry I got I got sidetracked there.
Okay so he's stable.
He's confident.
He's generous.
He's a provider.
He's prosperous.
He's very dependable.
So he's not flighty.
He's not flaky.
Um he loves leisure time and relaxation.
He's very sensual.
He's a very sensuous character.
But he can also be a little bit hedonistic at times.
He's very grounded.
He can be mildly domineering.
Not like he's not on a power trip but he can be mildly domineering.
Uh he loves life.
He loves good food.
He loves good wine.
And like I said he is kind of Prime sort of sugar daddy material.
So some symbols to notice on this card uh The Grapes.
So the grapes represent can represent like wine.
I think of the Greek god dianus god of wine.
Um grapes have this to me it's like a symbol of indulgence and enjoyment and pleasure.
We also see that he has his foot on this BEAST's head.
And that is a symbol of having conquered something.
And this is what kind of gives him that sort of domineering sort of quality.
We also see that there's the bullheads on his uh throne.
And the Bulls can represent Taurus.
So if you know a little bit about astrology king of Pentacles is kind of a typical Taurus sort of energy.
Um and the bull is kind of shows that he can be stubborn at times.
He's very determined.
And sometimes he may come across as being a little bit bullish.
So some things that the the king of Pentacles is really really good at he is so good at making money.
And he's really good at business.
So he's good at like starting businesses acquiring businesses growing businesses.
He loves making business deals investing Etc he radiates this energy of relaxed success and confidence.
So he's very self assured.
He's very grounded calm and just has this like really relaxed successful kind of vibe.
He's the kind of guy that you want to do business with.
And if you're looking for a partner he might be the kind of guy that you want to date or even marry.
And again I say that a good sugar daddy which we'll get into cuz I'm going to talk about you know how generous he is and how much he loves to whine and dine.
So if you were to run into the king of Pentacles at a party he's most likely the one hosting the party.
So he loves to host lavish dinner parties.
He loves to whine and dine people.
If you were to go out for dinner with the king of Pentacles whether this is like a business dinner or it's a ro romantic date he will take you out for an amazing meal.
He will whine and dine you.
He will uh you know share a bottle or two of his expensive vintage wine.
He'll order dessert like it's this real like sensual leisurely experience.
Do you know the kind of people where like you'll go out for dinner with them and they just want to order an entree no dessert no drinks they want to like quickly eat and then pay the bill and then leave.
The king of Pentacles is the exact opposite of that.
So when it comes to work and career the king of Pentacles is practical.
Yet he's very determined.
And he can sometimes come across as being a little bit of a bully.
So this is where he is and I like to say he's mildly domineering because he's not on a power trip.
He doesn't want to control other people or micromanage people.
But he is always the boss.
Like that is he just wants to be in charge.
And it doesn't come from a place of insecurity CU there's people who are you know insecure and weak and they have to always be in control and they have to be the boss.
He's not like that.
He's very uh confident in himself.
He's self assured.
He has a lot of exp like a lot of worldly experience.
He's very grounded and stable.
But he is just naturally the boss.
You know you'll never find the king of Pentacles uh in a work situation where other people are telling him what to do like no no no.
He's always the boss.
He's not exactly hardworking though.
So he's really good at acquiring businesses and setting them up so that they kind of run themselves or paying other people to do all the grunt work.
So he's the kind of Boss who rolls in late and then goes on a leisurely 3 hour lunch break or he goes to like a three Martini business meeting.
He's that kind of a boss.
But he's not up your ass about everything all the time.
You know he's not going to try to micromanage you.
He's not on a power trip um.
He's successful.
He's organized.
He knows what he's doing.
But you wouldn't call him hardworking at all.
He doesn't he he's not interested in The Daily Grind.
Okay so I'm going to switch over to my other sheet here.
So so far what do you think.
Let me know in the comment section.
Can you relate to this king of Pentacles.
Do you know anyone like the king of Pentacles.
Let me know.
Okay so when it comes to love and romance he is very sensual.
He's very generous.
He loves to whine and dine his love interests.
He likes to show off the fact that he has money he has some power and he has influence.
And in the bedroom he loves like a long slow hot oil massage and like feeding each other grapes.
That's kind of his his cup of tea.
So he's very stable and dependable.
So he always keeps his commitments.
He shows up on time.
He's not the kind of guy who's going to cancel last minute or flake out on a date.
He's he's very he's very dependable.
He's very stable.
Now he might be very generous with his lovers.
And this is where I say he's kind of a sugar daddy.
He loves to uh buy his lovers lots and lots of gifts.
And you know thoughtful luxurious wonderful gifts.
He loves to spend money on them.
But he isn't always as emotionally available as they would like him to be.
So he doesn't really have that.
He's not shallow but he doesn't have that depth of feeling like say the king of Cups does.
Um and he's not as passionate as say the king of Wands.
And he's not as intellectually stimulating as the King of Swords might be.
Um so his Partners may get frustrated um by that lack of depth.
And a common fight or argument that the king of Pentacles might have with a romantic partner is they might say oh we rarely spend any time together.
I never see you.
Uh and then he'll say yeah but like I bought you this and this and this.
And he he feels like he can kind kind of like buy favor in relationships like he feels like as long as he's a good provider and he's buying his lover lots of gifts then he can kind of do whatever he wants in the relationship and he doesn't really have to do much more than providing things.
So that can really frustrate some people.
And he can become complacent once he's comfortable in a relationship.
Once he feels like he's one someone over and he he has what he wants he be he can become very lazy and complacent.
But in turn he is not that demanding.
So this is not the kind of romantic partner who asks a lot.
He doesn't have high expectations.
He doesn't demand much.
So he has that going for him.
When it comes to money this is his whole Jam.
He's so good with money.
He you know making money just comes naturally to him.
Buying businesses starting businesses all of this is is just like um you know he's a fish in water when it comes to that kind of stuff.
He has a tendency to sometimes overspend particularly on lavish luxurious things going on kind of flashy vacations.
Overall he is pretty practical.
But sometimes that kind of his flamboyant nature will come out when he hosts like a really over the top lavish dinner party for his friends or he goes on some you know flashy vacation or buys some really indulgent thing.
He knows how to manage money.
And he doesn't like take risks with his money like he doesn't do like risky new Investments or anything like that.
He thrives on being in charge.
He thrives on making business deals doing business starting a new business.
And he loves hosting dinner parties and orgies in his mansion.
And I'll say more about the orgies in a sec because you're probably going orgies.
What.
So let's talk about his dark side.
So for those of you who read reversals the dark side you may interpret the king of Pentacles reversed in this way.
There's many different ways to read a reversal this is one possible interpretation.
So the king of Pentacles dark side he can be somewhat gluttonous.
So he might be prone to like overindulging in alcohol in food you know like eating too much drinking too much and becoming kind of slothful and lazy.
Like he's naturally kind of laid back but taken to the extreme that can become laziness.
And he sometimes has he can sometimes kind of fall into like slobbish kind of behavior.
He can be a bit of a slob.
So you might go over to his mansion and there's like half eaten pizzas and like uh remnants of last night's Feast like food kind of scattered everywhere.
And there's maybe a drunken orgy unfolding in the Next Room.
And there's alcohol and drugs everywhere.
This is sort of like the dark side of the the king of Pentacles.
And sometimes he can put way too much importance on money.
So sometimes for him like money is his God.
Money is very important to him um and he might sometimes value that above all else.
So a few fun ways three specific fun ways for you to embody the king of Pentacles number one is set up multiple income streams.
Now this is not the easiest thing to do but the king of Pentacles is really good at this.
So he doesn't just have one business or one job.
He has a bunch of income streams many of which don't actually require a lot of work on his part.
Second way to embody this card go on a three Martini lunch or just a lunch where you you know order dessert you take your time it's not just a a rushed 45 minute Affair.
You really take your time and enjoy your lunch.
The third way to embody the king of Pentacles is to host a lavish dinner party for your friends.
This is totally in the king of Pentacles wheelhouse.
He loves doing stuff like this.
So what does this card mean.
What does the king of Pentacles mean if he shows up in your reading.
Cuz I know you're thinking okay so we know he likes orgs and uh three Martini lunches and he likes to be the boss okay we got it.
But what does it mean when he shows up in a reading.
So when the king of Pentacles shows up in your reading he's telling you to have confidence in yourself.
Maybe he's encouraging you to start your own business and kind of become more independent to be the boss or to be more assertive in business dealings or in the workplace or even in your relationships.
He may also be encouraging you to actually just slow down and enjoy life.
He is really good at establishing a healthy work life balance.
And so he also might be encouraging you to calm down really ground your energy and focus on creating stability so that you can conquer your fears conquer your anxieties and step into a more independent confident version of yourself.
He encourages you to take a confident yet relaxed and grounded approach to whatever it is that you're asking about.
