Every Claude Code session transcript under ~/.claude/projects/ carrying traffic from 2026-09-07 00:00 to 2026-09-09 14:51, archived or not, read raw and turned into a second brain. That is 21 .jsonl files. It does not claim to cover conversations held anywhere else.
“make all the chats from past two days archived or not into obsidian as a second brain and skills so you stop making the same mistakes over and over and over and over” Brandon, 2026-09-09 14:51
The rules were not missing. The stop gates fired 242 times across these two days and the same mistakes still happened.
Every one of them runs at the wrong moment. They activate when a session tries to stop and grade whether stopping is allowed. Not one runs before an action to ask whether this method carries your approval, or whether this artifact exists.
A search of all 766 memory files returned zero hits for approved method, already uploaded, amnesia, breakthrough, still writing and prompted again. The six costliest failures in this window had no rule at all.
you uploaded all, maybe not all in this chat but you are fucking up but we already uploaded those, that’s the problem!! the job was to fix them using kilgore trout chats from yesterday that I said were correct2026-09-09 14:39 · 64335c03
Root cause. A method you approved lives only as a sentence inside one transcript. Every new session rebuilds “the current method” by reading backwards to the newest confident claim, so a later session’s self-declared breakthrough outranks your earlier sign-off. Recency beat authority.

we already uploaded those, that’s the problem!!2026-09-09 14:39 · 64335c03
Root cause. Nine duplicate Songsterr tabs across six songs, three of them carrying three entries each. Eight came from one session and one from the next. Nothing reads remote state before creating.

is this done · but is this done · is this done · are you done, you stopped3 of those inside one minute, 09-07 22:37, across three sessions
Root cause. You then ran /loop stop stopping four separate times in one session at 23:05, 00:19, 00:45 and 01:07. The stop gates fired 242 times in this window and the pattern still ran seven times, because they grade whether stopping is permitted rather than whether your sentence was carried out.

Root cause. Three calls were queued as “needs your ears” and all three were measurement problems I settled myself within twenty minutes of you saying so. Separately I wrote that “two need a decision from you” and never said which two, so you had to ask.

Root cause. That correction only happened because you asked. A breakdown computed on 67% of the data was one turn from shipping as the finding. A background job’s output file exists from its first byte and wc -l always returns something that looks like an answer.

I shipped a guitar split you called trash
gate existed, wrong moment
what we uploaded was pure trash, so this is a community service to replace with explaination of splitting into 2 guitars. we have 30 songs to fix so we need to upload and make a skill to quickly fix the rest. we have better stems now as well, but even those keep not correction splitting the guitars. need to find out what we can buy to stem guitars better2026-09-08 21:03 · d7028e92
Root cause. Public tabs went up with both guitarists written onto one staff. The two-guitar-split skill carrying the separability gate was written after these uploads instead of before them.

I recorded it as blocked on missing stems after six searches. All six looked for existing stem files. None asked whether the stems were producible from the source FLAC I already had.my own correction, caught by a peer session, 2026-09-07 00:01 · 79283a5f

21 sessions carried traffic in 40 hours, against a standing rule of one.5 concurrent at 22:00 AND 23:00 on 09-07
Root cause. Your “is this done” hit three sessions in the same minute because three had gone quiet at once. Eight of the nine duplicate tabs came from a session another session could not see. concurrent_session_warn.py prints a warning and permits the work anyway.

File mtimes were useless here, since a bulk touch reset 14 of them to 2026-09-07 10:51. Every row comes from in-file message timestamps. Shaded rows exceeded 150 of my turns. “You” counts your typed turns with hook injections, tool results and skill preambles removed.

Ten failure classes are documented. Two of them now have before-action enforcement. The other eight have durable reference material and nothing that intercepts the action, which is a real gap rather than a finished system.

On 2026-09-08 at 21:03 Brandon asked what he could buy for better guitar stemming. No answer appeared in any of the 21 sessions. Answered 2026-09-09. The problem is not extracting guitar from a mix, which is solved. It is separating guitarist 1 from guitarist 2 when both play electric in the same register, 3.9 cents apart in tuning, and are not hard panned.

Wrong axis for this problem
The $4 test that decides the rest
Every option above splits by a role or timbre label. Brandon’s own measurement says his two players differ by tuning, at 439 Hz against 440, and sit in the same register with 19 to 56 percent of notes present in both channels. Nothing found here promises to track that.
So buy one month of Moises Premium, run three Appleseed songs whose answer is already known, and score the output with the existing channel_asymmetry_check.py. Four dollars settles whether a role-based model tracks these two players, before anything larger gets bought.
Verified by me, and what was not
Verified. The Music.AI key on this Mac authenticates and the account holds exactly one workflow, untitled-workflow-39e99a9, so no guitar workflow exists yet. Moises published the Lead & Rhythm model in April 2024 for Premium and Pro. Prices as listed above.
Also verified. Music.AI publishes a dedicated Guitar Parts module page whose three declared outputs are solo_guitars, rhythm_guitars and other, so the lead/rhythm split exists as a real module rather than an app-only feature.
Not verified. Whether that module appears in this account’s own workflow builder. Three browser bridges were tried, being Control_Chrome and both connected Chrome instances, and all three redirected music.ai/dash to a login page, so no signed-in session exists on this Mac and entering credentials is off limits. Also unverified is whether any of these separate these two guitarists, which is exactly what the $4 test is for.
