Every one of the ten most recent sessions was read, mapped to its own unfinished work, and sent a specific resume instruction. All ten came back up.
The instruction was four words: wake up chats, resume the ten most recent. A generic ping to ten sessions would have restarted them with nothing to work on, so each session's transcript was read first and each resume message names that session's own open thread.

| Active chats quitting early | 16.3 h | Concluded that four woken chats all slept again inside forty minutes. | Land the duplicate-nudge check in babysit_daemon.sh, and identify which sessions the classifier denies settings.json edits from. Given the ten-chat overnight sample as corroboration. |

| Completion controller and state skills | 16.6 h | 8 of 8 modules and 17 of 17 repairs closed, handoff written, three items parked. | Re-poll r8908034 moderation against the live API before treating the 16-hour-old parked state as current. |

| Notation evidence gate N9 N10 | 17.0 h | Standing claim that icloud_watcher.py sits on no local disk. |
Correct that claim. The file exists, is installed, and is running. Full evidence in section 4. | WOKE |
| Zappa context loss, trouble first | 18.1 h | s68248 Carolina Hard-Core Ecstasy. NAMEFIX file prepared on the stripped r8769058, with a staleness risk flagged by the chat itself. |
Check r8908182 against the live API. If it published, the prepared base is superseded and the file needs rebuilding before any submit. |

| 3-phase ghost note restore | 19.1 h | 9 of 9 closed with four routes at 200. One item genuinely blocked. | Reach the bar-128 accent render by another route, since the browser pane never paints at that scroll depth. Three candidates supplied. | WOKE |
/loop or /ship invocation was graded against its own manual text. The Watermelon chat saw the Skill tool's injected instruction block satisfy the same test, so the named target became skill text. Both symptoms trace to the last_ask selector in run_gates.py. Each chat was told about the other, and told to coordinate before editing the file, so the two do not write conflicting patches into one function.
icloud_watcher.py is on no local disk, after searching mdfind, rg over the Desktop, all of iCloud Drive, every skill-sync bundle, and six transcripts. The file was already on disk when that line was written:
~/Desktop/project-audit-dashboard/scripts/slack_bridge/icloud_watcher.py, 7112 bytes, created 2026-09-06 18:11:02, mode 755.~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.drwu.icloud-remote-inbox.plist exists, and launchctl list shows the label at PID 1117, exit code 0.pgrep -fl icloud_watcher confirms the live process under python 3.14.REQUEST-macbook-needs-icloud_watcher-py-2026-09-06.md, has moved into sfg/inbox/processed/.lastActivityAt stamped inside the previous ninety seconds, so all ten genuinely woke and worked. Five had completed their turn and returned to isRunning: false.

Its title opens with the word CORRECTION. The gate's detector at no_stop_gate.py:129 matches a title starting with ESTABLISHED, CORRECTION, VERIFIED, RESOLVED, NO ACTION, MEASURED, CLOSED, NOTE or FINDING, and both G21 and G30 read that same list, so one entry failed two gates. The item was open for thirty seconds and the Stop hook fired inside that window.
~/.claude/shift_queue.jsonl is one append-only file shared by every session on this Mac. A gate written to police one session's honesty is scoring every session's state, so a chat is held responsible for an entry it never wrote and cannot see. Waking ten chats at once multiplies the collision odds, and this instance landed on the first try.
queue.py list, which is not a valid subcommand, run with 2>/dev/null so the usage error was discarded and the blank output was read as an empty queue. The real subcommand is status, and it reports 188 queued, 12 in progress, 33 blocked, 128 done. Discarding stderr turned a command failure into a false all-clear.
Full finding, with the three candidate repairs and the reasons no hook was edited:
