[Music]
you
[Music]
Lord my
[Music]
he I'm
[Music]
love you
[Music]
f love you
for
[Music]
go
[Music]
love for the morning
[Music]
me in the
space
with my heart
[Music]
heart love
you for
gold love
you for the all
fall
[Music]
holy not at all
[Music]
so
okay love you
[Music]
for oh I love
you
[Music]
for to
holy
[Music]
d
[Music]
oh
[Music]
what a beautiful just mood and texture
all of that is the Sparkles with
the but then this Jeep base
accents it just so it's just really well
done I really like this song so uh
looked at the lyrics by the way because
I've never quite known what she's saying
you're my you're not my eater I'm not
your
food love you for God that's when she
does the run and then love you for the
mother eat me in the space within my
heart love you for God love you for the
mother mother Fountain only you're not
at all the most black Road son kid child
love you for God love you for the mother
God stares to Marvel only love so it's
kind of abstract another great vocal
delivery from Elizabeth here I think
it's even different than uh
teardrop there's something more
vulnerable about teardrop the way she
sings it this one she sings it I feel
like
more she's like a little bit more
emotionally
detached and almost like Superior
there's that there like a coldness to it
um even though she's singing Love a lot
it's
still I don't know I really like it so
the Baseline is great and actually we
can hear the Baseline a little bit
better at the very very very end um cuz
here because it was a little confusing
there's a couple notes where I was like
so okay
this is also Dorian so great
I really like how you know it kind of
goes up this
chord and then second
time let me try that again first
time so just just went up one note and
you know kept the same pattern that's
just a nice variation you can follow it
it sounds familiar but it's new so
that's really nice and then we have
[Music]
the oh
okay my bad I had the Rhythm
wrong and then I think at the very end
[Music]
so these these bell sounds there's so
much delay on them and Reverb and stuff
and so they there's a there's sort of a
undefined quality you can hear the
pitches and you can hear some accents
but it's not completely clear like uh
which line is which cuz there s like
there's two of them kind of in
overlapping and um so what all I can
tell you is that I hear is like uh
[Music]
those three
[Music]
notes it's very mystical
sounding I think it's cuz there's this
little half step between
these and this is the tth
[Music]
note h
[Music]
oh God this melody is so good her
Melodies are so
good okay so similarly to dissolved girl
she's like hitting a lot of tense notes
in the scale just think of the scale as
like a ladder I guess and like there are
like you want to step on the rungs right
typically if you put your foot in
between the rungs you have to kind of go
up or down from there she's kind of
putting her foot between the rungs a lot
and staying there so there's this like
feeling of tension and balancing and
incompleteness and something's just not
quite right I just love that
so ninth 7eventh she balances that
tension
resolve
question answer and I love the little
runs then I think the second
time and that's so strange that's a
trone which is a very unstable interval
it's not easy to
[Music]
sing she's still staying in the scale
it's just she picked a part the one
relationship between two notes in the
whole scale that sounds like
[Music]
this the
[Music]
echo okay love that run going down for
God I think that's the whole pentatonic
scale minor pentatonic
scale
[Music]
um yes wow and she does it so effortless
like listen to this
[Music]
I'm love
[Music]
whoops love
[Music]
you
go oh that's how she does it with her
Rhythm
God God God
[Music]
and then
[Music]
again it's the same the second time in
in the way that she's sort of like
question
answer you know much more resolved
sounding oh beautiful and also just like
the space right
that's
syncopated space space
space just the just dropping these lines
in they're so
delicate okay so now the base there's
like this variation where it sounds like
they took the sample and they just cut
it so it's
like kind of
o listen see if I can find
it it's a sample so it's not exactly it
could
be I don't
know okay
[Music]
oh it's
[Music]
pretty m
[Music]
oh oh oh oh
oh so that one is not in Dorian that
does not have the raised note so that's
like
minor it's right
[Music]
there instead
of that's what we've been hearing in the
voice and the bass
that sounds like the X Files that's what
the X Files
does
[Music]
right you know I may have been
subconsciously uh thinking that for
years that this part reminded me of the
X Files probably because of that like
not just the song but like the mood you
know it feels like something like yeah
like some something mysterious and super
super natural about
it love the way those they they cut that
drum sample
in like a little prefill it's a fill but
I mean like a pickup that's what I meant
to
[Music]
say actually it kind of sounds like a
slow down hip-hop
groove right
okay let's see what
else I love all the ghosts following
her that's pretty that definitely makes
me think of Supernatural
[Music]
phenomenon phenomena supernatural
phenomena phenomena
[Music]
that's so pretty and
gentle love
[Music]
that give me all your ninths I want them
[Music]
all I mean this song definitely feels
like a mood and it's very
hypnotic you know there's a lot of
repetition a lot of verses you know
there's no chorus in fact most of these
songs do not follow a Verse Chorus
Bridge structure at all which I honestly
really like
it's you don't need that structure
necessarily to make something
interesting you know to keep people
engaged and to take them on a journey so
uh they've definitely figured it out but
this one is is particularly repetitive
um luckily I'm just in love with it so I
could listen to this on Loop for a long
time but it does kind of feel almost
like you never really know when it when
it's over you know it has that Perpetual
feeling to it so you could just really
get in the zone and kind of lose track
of time in this song and Elizabeth is
just cring to us and it's just God what
a what great
Melodies every Melody of her I've heard
I've I've loved so I do need to listen
to the cocko twins it really does need
to happen
