beautiful song submitted by one of my
patrons flash Stallone so I'm really
excited uh to hear what Pax thinks of
this song it is a beautiful piano based
electronic track called looking through
the
chronovisor so let's listen Pax you

of the cords he was hearing in his
way yes sweet boy all right time to Tel
atically transmit your analysis to me
bit by bit so what uh where would you
say the tal Center of this one is like
the key

packs he said g uh sometimes his aim is
a little off you know he doesn't have
the dexterity that I do but he was
deciding to rub against one of my lights
which uh I'm not exactly sure what that
means analysis wise I'd rather have him
here near the keys to tell me what he's
thinking all right so it's in the key of
G would you say it's uh major or

minor I agree

dude you're right he just was telling me
that he heard a flat six
chord it's G minor because you have the
G all right
here oh his little chewing noises are
really cute come here

okay and then we have
this D minor and then the flat six
that's sort of the general

now we have a difference we have the um
flat six
note then it goes down to Flat 7even
right that's what I thought and then it
goes to the D Minor see he told me that
it wasn't just like this the whole time
I didn't believe him but he's dead on
he's such a smart little kitty variation

right and then
like that right good sweet boy you get
your special treat for
that he loves
these I don't know why they made them
smell like bacon I just don't feel like
that's really a cat flavor but he does
love
them he's not very good at figuring out
where it is on my hand though he's got
his talents music he's just you know VA
but
um I love this part right Pax where it
kind of goes

down back up to Flat 6 right right
right he wanted to tell he wanted to to
tell me to tell you that he really likes
the slow percussion and you know I do
you to you would think a cat would be
really into like upbeat stuff but I
don't know he's got a side to him
that love the strings we were both
thinking

that also it's really nice all the
atmosphere you created with the p ads
the textures it's very evocative you
know and looking through the chronovisor
is also a very evocative title um I like
how you're not just just playing chords
you sort of have like little back and
forth between your right and left hand I
would say you know like oh my God
there's like cat treats down

there like sort of like d you know like
that dissonance and then dissonance
[Music]
again that's really unusual I like
[Music]
that two minor sevs in a row no wonder
[Music]

oh we got to talk about
that this is really nice
okay so here oh
yes the melody is kind of being taken by
the strings right PEX and then at the
same
time we have that
upper we have that uh right exactly
those high notes that are sort of
alternating uh did you eat it is that
all you want another
one that start out really

pretty um you know we got the upper
parts that are
[Music]
like something like that is really
really beautiful like a little counter
Melody just so you can really appreciate
how hard he's
working it's my good little buddy Oh
Oh I thought you were going to chill out
there but we got to talk about the
little you really like those right PS
this is gorgeous

right really gorgeous just the minor key
really coming out you should see the
chord Pax is playing right now E flat 6

so gorgeous um and I noticed it and even
another Baseline variation right Pax

boy yeah uh where it goes

um right
exactly got your flat six you got the
beautiful minor key characteristics I
also hear just lots of really lovely
lines that are sort of crossing over and
intersecting and uh but you do a really
good job I think of sort of spotlighting
uh certain ones you know at any given
time oops I didn't mean to move that
over uh sort of spotlighting certain
ones uh at any given time so that they
all have a chance to shine I don't
really feel like The Melodies are like
uh uh covering each other up or getting
lost they're really nicely balanced and
I love the just the dark you know uh
tone to this it's very
mysterious I love that Trill and yeah
Pax loved all the same things because
he's got really good taste you know I
trained him well I didn't realize I was
training him but you know you pick
things up from the people you spend the
most time with
um wow hey sweet boy good
job good job I was wondering why my hand
smelled so stinky it's cuz it smells
like bacon
yeah oh yeah tasty thanks sweet
boy I'll give that right back to
you you're such a sweet baby you're such
a sweet

um it tickles yeah thank you thank you
he doesn't want to be on camera anymore
but he's still
participating but yeah like they they
sound a little bit different than you
would expect the kick has a really
interesting tone to it like little
crunchy and then the snare sounds very
like pitched down like a ghost of a
snare
like um and it's super minimal and there
a lot of space I think to exist in the
piece of music you've
made really solid strong work flashed
